JOB DESCRIPTION 

Corporate Partnerships are a key area of growth for Noah’s Ark Fundraising and is pivotal to not just income generation but also brand awareness for the work that we do. The role feeds into our Major Donor and Corporate income streams. Philanthropy & Partnerships is a real area of expertise for Noah’s Ark, with much scope for further growth.

The Corporate Partnerships Manager will work in close collaboration with the Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager and build a cohesive way of working to ensure that we are maximising impact for the charity and its beneficiaries.

Purpose - The Corporate Partnerships Manager works with the Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships, steward existing relationships, and develop a healthy corporate prospects pipeline in order to achieve agreed income targets.  The role is also key in delivering our special events and campaigns in collaboration with our Special Events Manager. This includes our annual matched-funding campaign, The Winter Ball and the Noah’s Ark Golf Day – which most recently raised £1m, £400,000 and £104,000 respectively.

This is a senior fundraising role within Eikon’s Trusts & Grants team, focused on generating significant voluntary income from charitable trusts, foundations, and local government funders. With an overall team target of £1m, this postholder will contribute around £250k per year through a mix of high-quality applications, strategic account management, and relationship building.

The role requires both strong bid writing skills (especially for complex, high-value and multi-year proposals) and excellent interpersonal skills to develop and steward relationships with funders. As Senior Trust Fundraiser, you will:

• Raise circa £250k annually from a mix of trusts, foundations, and local government grant funders (restricted and unrestricted)
• Lead on developing a portfolio of high-value, multi-year funders, cultivating new prospects and strengthening existing relationships
• Research, write, and submit compelling, tailored proposals and reports
• Work collaboratively with the Grants Lead on strategic bids (e.g. The National Lottery Community Fund, Community Foundation for Surrey)
• Develop an approach for growing unrestricted income
• Actively network across Surrey to identify new leads and opportunities
• Provide excellent account management through regular reporting, funder meetings, and creative stewardship (e.g. site visits, events)
• Manage accurate pipeline and reporting on Donorfy CRM, supporting both team and board-level reporting
• Deputise for the Grants Lead at meetings where required
• Provide peer support to colleagues in the fundraising team

Ideal skills and experience: 

• Proven track record in trusts and foundations fundraising (including complex, high-value proposals)
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information persuasively
• Confident in building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders
• Comfortable independently representing Eikon at external meetings and networking events
• Strong organisational and time management skills – able to balance writing, relationship building, and reporting
• Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable; able to deputise when required
• Experience of the children, education, or mental health sectors desirable

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Team and Service Support

• Act as the first point of contact for all HR queries (phone, email, in person) escalating where necessary.
• Monitor shared and team inboxes, providing administrative support to the HR team.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships across the hospice.
• Support the HR Business Partners in all areas of HR delivery including policy updates and audit process.
• Coordinate, arrange and take minutes at key meetings.
• Manage stationery and stock supplies for the HR team.

2. Recruitment and Onboarding

• Draft and publish job adverts and vacancy packs to internal and external platforms.
• Assist hiring managers with shortlisting, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
• Carry out all pre-employment checks, including references, DBS, right-to-work, and Occupational health.
• Prepare offer letters and contracts of employment.
• Add new starters to the HR System and order fobs and name badges.
• Organise and deliver new starter HR inductions.

3. HR Systems and Administration

• Maintain accurate personnel records in line with GDPR and hospice procedures.
• Manage key compliance tasks including DBS renewals, right-to-work checks, and professional registration monitoring.
• Report on HR metrics.
• Maintain the HR Portal and rota management system.
• Process payroll changes including starters, leavers, absences, contractual changes and other miscellaneous updates.
• Produce and issue routine HR communication (maternity, leaver, probation letters).
• Manage employee benefits and general employee administration queries.
• Track and support performance review and probation processes.
• Support managers with absence management administration, escalating complex matters to the HR Business Partners.

The Sanctuary (Crisis Café) is a service for all residents experiencing emotional distress. The café is weekdays during the evening and at weekends in the afternoon. We provide initial support meetings both face to face and via the telephone, workign with clients to resolve immediate distress, and explore coping mechanisms. We then coproduce support plans with clients and offer 121’s, counselling, peer support groups and workshops as well as a social place to be.  

The support worker will be experienced in working with people in distress or who have mental health issues, highly organised and have excellent people skills.  A minimum of 3 shifts per week is required.

4.30-10pm Monday – Friday and 12 – 6pm Saturday and Sunday (Barnet)

The Director of Income Development & Partnerships will be driving force for income diversification for the organisation, and will expand private sector partnerships, donations, grants and other fundraising streams to achieve income generation growth. Setting income generation and strategic partnership strategies to drive growth and achieve the foundation’s objectives, this role will be a strategic leader on the Leadership Team and oversee a fundraising team to deliver success. This role will also lead key income generation and strategic partnership relationships to increase income, as well as build impactful partnerships for the foundation.
   
The successful candidate will be able to evidence extensive high value fundraising experience in complex organisations, with notable examples of successfully securing multi-year five and six-figure relationships from corporates, HNWIs, events, trusts and foundations. This person will have proven experience of leading successful teams to achieve income and engagement growth of a multimillion-pound level. They will also be an experienced senior leader and ideally have knowledge of the social mobility, youth, or employability sectors. They will champion an inclusive culture and align with the foundation’s mission and values.

JOB PURPOSE 

This exciting role focuses on raising income for the Start Network and its global initiatives, including the Start Fund, Start Ready, innovation and the expansion of a locally led network. The postholder will be an experienced trusts and / or corporate fundraiser who wants a role focused on business and relationship development. They will be responsible for an exciting portfolio of existing and prospective funders (that give 6-7 figure grants), adopting a relational approach to fundraising. 

You will be responsible for carrying out prospect donor mapping, growing a fundraising pipeline, building relationships with prominent foundations and corporates in the humanitarian space, writing technical proposals as required, pitching to donors well-articulated concepts, and building fundraising capacity within the organisation. 

It is critical that the postholder is comfortable with developing new relations. We have grown a significant number of new donors within our Foundations and Corporates over the last few years, and we hope to continue the growth of the team in this exciting role, so proof of having grown an income stream is key.

Finally, the Partnerships Funding Advisor will sit within a team of 4 focusing on strengthening and increasing the philanthropic portfolio and will work alongside the Partnerships Engagement Officer, one other Partnerships Funding Advisor and will report to the Partnerships Manager.

• Leading on photographic shoots for CRUK commissioning teams. Respond to a wide variety of briefs, providing creative direction, agreeing outputs and deliverables, and delivering solutions.

• Collaborating with the creative team to ensure all photography briefs meet the needs of broader audiences and channels, stretching a brief to meet wider objectives and efficiencies where appropriate and importantly encouraging the reuse and repurpose of existing photo and visual assets where possible

• Managing new projects through all stages of planning and execution

• Producing high quality, professional images ensuring that they are shot, lit, exposed correctly and in line with CRUK's brand

• Managing the post-production of visual assets and photography, ensuring all selected shots are processed correctly, retouched and checked for quality for final asset delivery

• Ensuring all images are filed, logged and backed up appropriately in the file management system

• Being an authority and expert on photography, leading and supporting on the management and creation of resources to support your practice and commissioning teams

• Leading the way in adhering to the systems, processes and tools that support the operations of the Creative Team (e.g. commissioning process, briefing forms and templates, resourcing systems, evaluation and reporting) to ensure efficient and effective delivery, and lead the way in ensuring best practice in customer service.

What skills are you looking for?

• Significant experience and a strong portfolio of a wide variety of photography styles and skills (from lifestyle, reportage, event, headshot/portrait and product, for wide range of applications including advertorial and marketing use)

• Highly proficient in using Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom or similar photo editing software

• Strong understanding of studio flash photography and latest equipment and kit

• Keen attention to detail which is maintained when under pressure

• Relevant experience of working with contributors in sensitive circumstances, e.g. people affected by cancer and their families, and ability to quickly build trust and enable powerful and emotional moments to be captured on camera

• A strong collaborator who can quickly build relationships with key stakeholders with demonstrable skills in influencing and negotiating with people across all teams and levels to grow the creativity and ambition of work

• Skills and experience with absorbing and applying constructive feedback from peers and commissioning teams at all levels

• Strong time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure

• Connected with external photography trends and technical developments to continually inspire creative excellence and innovation in-house.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior .NET Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our websites, CharityJob and Charity Connect. As an integral part of our team you will work very closely with us through daily standups, sprint planning meetings, and many discussions on Teams video calls to ensure the successful delivery of our projects. You will also collaborate closely with our product and QA teams to ensure the highest quality of our deliverables.

We’re seeking a developer with strong .NET and Azure expertise, along with solid front-end skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and ReactJS.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain features for Charityjob using .NET 9 and SQL Server.
• Work with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure SQL, Blob Storage, and Azure Cognitive Search.
• Collaborate daily via Microsoft Teams with Product Managers, QA, and fellow developers.
• Participate fully in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and occasionally ReactJS.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code with an emphasis on performance and scalability.
• Offer technical input on architecture and best practices, and support less experienced developers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in .NET web development (ideally .NET Core / .NET 8 or 9).
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and experience designing relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (SQL, Storage, Search, etc.).
• Front-end development skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ReactJS.
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Experience working in a Scrum/Agile setting.

Desirable

• Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and practices.
• Prior experience working on high-traffic websites or job boards.

You’ll provide high quality admin support to the regional England team. As members of the Community Directorate we aim to reach out to and support people with Parkinson’s, their families, friends and carers.  We enable the voice of people affected by Parkinson’s to be heard to improve services, inform our priorities and improve decision making locally.

Through community development we work in close collaboration with our respective Parkinson’s communities to bring change on the issues that matter most to people affected by Parkinson’s.

• Provide high quality admin support to the regional team 

• Provide first point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders

• Organise online and in-person, internal and external meetings and other events, including booking venues and refreshments, assisting with the production of materials, liaising with participants and speakers, fulfilling mailings and taking bookings as required

• Coordinate, plan and prep key meetings

• Keep up to date with the directorate’s activities in order to provide clear, accurate information

• Respond to general enquiries in a timely and friendly fashion, ensuring needs are met

• Process purchase orders, invoices, staff and volunteer expenses for approval 

• Participate in working groups, meetings, local events or activities as required

• Maintain digital records on the charity’s data platforms

• Support the process of business performance and impact reporting
