Age UK is offering an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Change Manager to support local Age UKs to maintain and enhance their strategic positioning, financial sustainability, and governance.
This role will provide support to both individual and groups of local Age UKs in relation to organisational development, significant strategic change, contingency planning, and crisis management. Support will need to be provided in a timely, focused, and impactful manner.
The Strategic Change Manager will work closely with senior stakeholders across the Network to develop and implement robust project plans, take a proactive approach to challenges, and ensure the continuity of high-quality services and support for older people.
The role will have responsibility for overseeing a small team of Network & Engagement Support Managers whose focus is to develop and maintain strong relationships with Chief Officers and Chairs of local Age UKs.

Salary advertised is reflective of a Hybrid/London contract, a blend of home working and working from our central London office.
This role may also be considered as a "home-based with travel" contract - salary band £52,326 - £57,834
There is a requirement to travel to sites across the Age UK Network, when required.

Main purpose of the job
The role leads on the delivery of Bond’s corporate and CEO level events. This role is managed by the Head of Communications but also works with the corporate and marketing team, the Director of Membership and Communications and CEO.
The primary focus of this role is to manage and deliver high-quality events for Bond’s corporate partners to help them reach their target audiences, and to deliver high level events for CEOs and senior leaders across our network to help provide senior leaders with the support and skills needed to provide effective and supportive leadership.
Main responsibilities
Corporate events:
- Manage and deliver a range of events to fulfil contractual commitments with corporate partners and ensuring they meet high-quality standards.
- Oversee the successful execution and promotion of both hybrid and face-to-face events across various locations including potential European venues.
- Steward corporate partners in refining event ideas to align with Bond's audience and sector needs.

We have a vacancy for a Flourish (Refugee and Asylum Seekers) Community Outreach Worker to join our team, supporting refugees and asylum seekers in the community with multiple needs who have mental health as a primary need, through providing advice, information and holistic support.
About the Service
This is an exciting and reasonably new project, ‘Flourish’ – Mental Health for Refugees in Hertfordshire, which is a highly flexible and responsive outreach service developed to meet the needs of refugees fleeing the war in Ukraine & other refugees in Hertfordshire. The aim of the service will be to support refugees in the community with multiple needs who have mental health support as a primary need.
The countywide holistic service also provides emotional wellbeing support for families who are hosting refugees.
Purpose of Post
- To provide advice, information, onward referral and holistic support to clients with mental ill health.
- Support to build social networks and reduce isolation whilst settling into the Hertfordshire community this includes building a sustainable and empowering peer support network and building confidence and self-esteem.
- To ensure that the safety and wellbeing of the client is monitored and reviewed regularly.
- To remain a source of independent support for all clients.
- Embed a person centred and solution focused approach in all aspects of the role.
- To work in a trauma informed way including awareness of the 6 principles of trauma informed practice, putting the clients emotional and practical needs at the forefront of this work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with all key delivery partners across the system to ensure the service is responsive, inclusive and easy to access.
- To take allocated referrals from any agencies including the Community Navigators, Borough and District Councils, Herts Help, Housing Providers, the Refugee Council and self-referrals including walk in contacts at any of the Mind wellbeing centres across the county.
- Hold a caseload of clients, supporting for approx. 10 weeks
- To create a safe space for the individual to be able to explore their feelings and improve their understanding around their mental health.
- To complete a holistic needs assessment, making use of assertive outreach work to achieve the initial client contact, if required.
- Ensure all person-centred risk assessments and support plans are completed as appropriate.
- Proactively recognise the indicators of deteriorating mental health and facilitate appropriate action, whilst liaising with relevant agencies.
- To provide safeguarding intervention support. This will include responding to problems, which pose an immediate risk.
- To work alongside translators when required to provide a robust package of support for clients.
- To provide advocacy services to clients experiencing mental ill health.
- To accompany clients to initial visits and appointments as necessary in order to ensure the sustained use of existing support services in the Borough.
- To work with the third sector and signpost to other agencies as necessary to improve the health and wellbeing of clients referred to the service.
- To liaise with other agencies to ensure that clients receive appropriate support and continue to remain engaged with the service.
- To assist clients to access appropriate mental health services, housing/tenancy services and other services according to assessed needs.
- To establish effective pathways across a variety of agencies to maximise and provide effective partnership working.
- Support clients to build their emotional resilience, promoting self-management through building an understanding of their own triggers/coping strategies.
- To actively seek the views and feedback from refugees and hosting families in order to shape and improve service delivery.

We are excited to offer opportunities for people looking to take their first steps into the advice sector and this role will work towards a level 3 award in information advice and guidance, which will take about 12 months to complete. You'll learn the skills and gain experience in delivering support to vulnerable people, with a particular focus on housing and welfare rights.
This exciting role will manage the initial assessment with the client in an empathetic way and will liaise with internal teams and with external agencies including other NGOs and statutory bodies and refer/signpost clients to services which may be more appropriate for their needs. About the role
We are seeking two passionate Senior Product Executives to drive the ongoing development of our event products. Your focus will be on continuous improvement, bringing compelling, supporter-focused products and propositions to life.

About you

Working arrangements
We are recruiting 2 Senior Product Executive both are fixed term contracts until March 2026.
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office. There will be a requirement for flexible out of hours working to support occasional evening and weekend activity. You will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.

Depending on your fundraising experience. you will be responsible for proactively developing our supporter category in the forms of corporate support, or individual giving, or major donors. The aim is to diversify our income streams and generate ongoing, long-term support.
We are looking for a self-motivated, charismatic, people-person who has a demonstrable record of raising income and profile at a local level and who understands the value in building quality, long-term relationships with individuals, corporates, and major donors.

Main duties
