The AI Opportunity Fund:

The AI Opportunity Fund, led by the Centre for Public Impact with support from Google . org, is currently a  €16 million initiative aimed at empowering underserved workers across Europe with essential AI skills. The programme has selected 73 organisations from hundreds of applications to provide tailored AI training to 20,000 workers across 24 European countries. These organisations focus on diverse communities, including rural job seekers, underemployed women, and public sector workers, aiming to bridge the digital divide and promote economic resilience. The initiative underscores AI's potential to drive social mobility and equitable growth across the continent. We are also hoping to scale our work in this area in the future. 

Position Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced, strategic and detail-oriented Senior Programme Manager to oversee the ongoing  delivery of the AI Opportunity Fund. This exciting role focuses on managing the implementation, budget and contractual aspects as well as lessons learned of the programme, ensuring its success in meeting our ambitious targets to equip underserved communities with essential AI and digital skills. 

As part of a  dynamic team working across diverse programs to advance CPI Europe’s strategy, this individual will thrive on building strong relationships within CPIE, across CPI’s regions, and within our Global Initiatives. Reporting to the Regional Director, Europe and leading a small team, the Senior Programme Manager role will have oversight of the AI Opportunities Fund which CPI is running on behalf of Google . org.

Key Responsibilities and Core Competencies:

 Programme Leadership and Delivery

• Lead the successful delivery of the  AI Opportunity Fund programme, ensuring timely, high-quality, and outcome-focused execution in line with the Fund’s ambitious targets

• Lead a team who effectively collaborate with grantees and training providers across multiple regions, ensuring effective implementation of activities, proactive resolution of challenges, and sustained programme momentum

• Identify and manage programme risks, embedding proactive mitigation strategies and enabling the team to navigate issues effectively

• Deliver clear and consistent updates to funders and internal stakeholders through both written reports and verbal briefings

Strategic and Financial Oversight

• Oversee programme budgets (€16m+) and financial performance, ensuring efficient resource allocation and alignment with funding requirements.

• Collaborate  with the Finance Team  to review spending, analyse trends, and deliver timely financial reports, ensuring strong internal controls and full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

• Provide overall oversight of a range of contracts, including approving amendments, while supporting the team in managing day-to-day operations to ensure effective implementation and compliance.

 Partner collaboration

• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with delivery partners, funders, and stakeholders to ensure aligned and collaborative programme delivery.

• Represent CPIE with confidence and build trust in partner meetings, clearly communicating programme progress, impact, and financial performance.

• Foster open, two-way communication at all levels and with partners to identify shared goals, address challenges early, and strengthen joint decision-making.

Monitoring, Reporting, and Learning

• Track delivery milestones, outputs, and financial performance against programme goals using established project management and monitoring frameworks.

• Collaborate with  CPI’s Knowledge, Learning, and Impact team to analyse outcome data, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and clear communication to stakeholders.

• Share insights and lessons learned with CPI leadership and Google . org to drive continuous improvement, support programme adaptation, and inform organisational learning. 

Thought Leadership & Business Development: 

• Shape and drive strategies to scale and strengthen programmes, ensuring CPI’s work remains innovative, impactful, and aligned with emerging priorities.

• Lead the development of strategic partnerships with funders and delivery partners, cultivating senior external relationships to support growth and collaboration.

• Provide thought leadership by contributing to strategic planning, influencing sector dialogue, and representing CPI in key forums to elevate its voice and impact.

• Develop public policy lessons and other insights from the Fund, to be utilised by CPI-E and/or Google . org

People Development:

Qualifications: 

• At least 8-10  years of relevant experience. CPI welcomes a breadth of experience from individuals from  service-oriented environments

• A project/programme management qualification is desirable, but not essential with proven relevant experience

About the role

Our dedicated team moderates our full-service accounts (all organic content and paid ads) as well as one-off campaigns and appeals for some of the most recognisable charities in the sector. 

This role is perfect for skilled comms experts who can provide excellent supporter care and is best suited as an additional source of income (the majority of our team are freelancers and consultants). You must be able to begin moderation at 9 am (or earlier), wrap up by 9 pm and adhere to our sub-three-hour response time. 

Our moderators must have a minimum of three years’ in-house, third-sector comms experience. 

As a Social Media Moderator, you would be responsible for:

• Becoming the voice of the cause you are representing, adhering to their brand guidelines and tone of voice at all times

• Identifying, escalating and signposting any safeguarding issues

• Managing your own time and work on own initiative

• Working across a range of social media management tools

• Responding/actioning to all comments and queries in under three hours

• Maximising donations when required 

• Going above and beyond at all times to provide supporters with an incredible experience

Our moderation takes place between 9 am and 9 pm, Monday-Sunday. 

Different accounts will require varying levels of ‘active’ hours (defined as time spent taking action). You will split your active hours between 9am and 9pm. For example, for an account which requires three active hours, you might carry out your work in six, thirty minute instalments throughout the shift.

As you gain experience, you will be allocated multiple accounts which will enable you to increase your hours worked. 

Whilst you need to be on hand to monitor your accounts during 9am-9pm, the role does allow for a great deal of personal flexibility.

Job Title: Production Supervisor 

Reporting To: Production Unit manager 

Salary Range: £32- 36,000 (FTE) per annum (Dependent on experience) 

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Felix Food Factory (SE8 5HY)

Hours/Days per week: 37.5 hour per week, 8.5 hours per day (between 8am - 8pm). Monday – Saturday (5 days on, 2 days off). Operating hours to start with for the operation will be Monday - Friday 8am – 6pm.

About The Felix Project 

The Felix Project is London’s largest food redistribution charity. Our vision is a London where good food is never wasted, and no one goes hungry. We aim to reduce the negative impact food waste has on the environment by working with the food industry to rescue high quality surplus produce, that would otherwise have gone to waste. This food is sorted at one of our four depots or turned into meals in Felix’s Kitchen. It is then distributed to over 1,200 community organisations, such as food banks, homeless shelters and primary schools, all of whom are working within communities across London to feed people experiencing hunger.

Purpose of the Job  

We are looking for the Production Supervisor to play a key role in our brand-new Production team under project ‘Unit 17’.  

You will be the on the ground senior leading the teams in the daily tasks to be completed, working as the connection between the management team and the team members and volunteers. Working hands on within all the production lines, leading by example and supporting the team across the operation. 

This is an operational role, mainly based on the production floor but with a range of reporting and administrative tasks involved. You will report into the Production Manager and work closely with them on the day to day running of the unit as well as supporting covering their duties when they are away.

You will be supervising and supporting the teams to deliver on each day’s production targets as well as ensuring that all rules and HACCAP plans are followed correctly, providing real time feedback to the management team on any issues and resolutions taken.

More about Unit 17 

In early/mid 2025, we opened our second production facility as part of the Coronation Food Project. The Coronation Food Project was set up to celebrate His Majesty King Charles 75th birthday and seeks to bridge the gap between food waste and food need across the UK. 

We will be taking in surplus food from our supplier network and creating a range of products which have added value and extended shelf life.  A particular focus will be seasonal produce gluts, using ingredients which we may otherwise not be able to redistribute.  

Using four key processes (re-packaging, jarring / preserving, dehydrating and freezing), we will create a range of products which will be used in these three main ways:  

• Distributed to our partner community organisations as ‘ready to eat’ or ‘easy to use’ products for their service users - always delicious, achieving relevant safety standards and meeting the needs of the eventual end user. 

• Used in the East London Central Production Unit (CPU) to support creating Felix Ready Meals.  

• Used in Unit 17 in the creation of other products (for example frozen produce later used to make jarred sauces or preserves) 

A typical day at Unit 17 will likely include planning new product/s based on the ingredients available that day, agreeing relevant food safety requirements and working in line with this, working with the production team and volunteers to prepare, produce and package delicious products, planning for future products and project work.  

Duties and Responsibilities

• Day to day supervision of the operations team, with a hands-on supportive approach 

• Liaising closely with the management team on the targets and goals for each production cycle

• Feeding into the reporting and delivery of the units stated KPI’s and production goals

This is a brand new and unique operation and requires someone with experience and an openness to creating and delivering on a new project. Whilst previous experience and knowledge within food production is essential, we are looking for someone who wants to grow into the role and be able to develop themselves and their knowledge whilst we develop this new operation.

• Comfortable with all relevant aspects of Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures in a food manufacturing environment 

• Previous experience working to and reporting on HACCAP plans

The Degrees Initiative is a UK-based NGO that builds the capacity of developing countries to evaluate solar radiation modification (SRM), a controversial proposal for reducing some impacts of climate change by reflecting sunlight away from the Earth. What You’ll Do
This role enables the DEC and our 15 member charities to effectively respond to humanitarian emergencies and provide timely, quality, community-focused assistance.

As an Accountability & Learning Officer, alongside your efforts to contribute to our learning and growth, you will shape our work to influence key policy agendas. You’ll be working across such areas as climate adaption, flexible funding for humanitarian action, and locally led humanitarian responses.

Overseeing our monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning activities, you will support the set-up of projects, build relationships, and co-ordinate activities in all our current operational theatres.

Specifically, your role will involve:

- Assessing humanitarian crises for DEC appeal eligibility
- Maintaining and improving reporting templates
- Setting up and overseeing key learning activities over the appeal cycle
- Overseeing our Collective Initiatives and Shared Services portfolio
- Supporting a range of DEC research and learning projects and reviews
- Helping members to achieve their climate and environment targets
- Leading the design and set up of regular learning events and workshops
- Acting as the key focal point for members’ and partners’ queries
- Acting as deputy for the Accountability & Learning Manager

What You’ll Bring
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- Experience with monitoring, evaluation, and research design and/or implementation
- Experience in the international humanitarian/development/charity sector for an NGO, UN Agency or similar
- A strong understanding of humanitarian crises globally
- Detailed knowledge of humanitarian principles, programming, and how the sector operates
- A good understanding of Monitoring & Evaluation frameworks and methodologies used to monitor programmes and measure outcomes
- An understanding of and interest in key policy areas within the humanitarian system

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern:

This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Katherine Low Settlement has worked with older people since its conception in 1924.They are a core part of the community that we continue to work with. We provide, often in partnership, a range of projects and activities for older people including health and wellbeing; creative arts; intergenerational work; connecting people and trips/outings. 

Our services include Battersea Bites, Age Well and Core social activities and digital inclusion.

We work with people 50+ to:

Key Objectives for this Role 

Oversee the day-to-day running of our Battersea Bites Programme that includes a lunch club for people 50+ that runs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and a healthy eating session on Mondays. This includes leading in the planning, shopping and preparation and provision of meals, the responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen including overseeing a team of volunteers and ensuring compliance with relevant Health & Safety and Food Hygiene requirements. 

Roles & Responsibilities 

Planning 

• Plan and develop a monthly lunch service menu, a month in advance, using creative license to provide nutritious, varied, and satisfying meals that meet diverse dietary requirements (e.g., allergies, cultural needs, vegetarian/vegan options) while strictly adhering to Health & Safety and food hygiene regulations. 

• Develop ideas for Battersea Bites Healthy cook and eat/ other sessions with the Age Well Team.

• Handle purchases and expense tracking using the Soldo card, ensuring full compliance with the bank card usage policy, and submitting all receipts and records promptly and accurately for financial oversight and reporting, for which training can be provided.

• Create several themed menus throughout the year which will engage members. For example, a Summer Lunch, an Afternoon Tea, etc.

• Support the planning of the older people’s lunch club with older people themselves

• Support the Elders team to welcome and support new members to feel part of the programme. 

Delivery 

• Complete a weekly food shop either online (we currently use Asda delivery service) or locally, buying fresh ingredients weekly which fall within the financial budget. 

• Prepare, cook and serve healthy meals, ensuring dietary needs are met 

• Undertake stock control such as stock rotation, ensuring all food items are labelled with expiry dates and disposed of when necessary. 

• Ensure all equipment is ready and set up for the lunch club service. 

• Ensure the security of the kitchen and store cupboards to provide a safe working environment. (Our cupboards are locked.)

• To ensure routine day-to-day as well as specialised cleaning of kitchen equipment, work surfaces, kitchen floors and storage areas. 

• Keep accurate and up-to-date records, including the health and safety folder containing opening and closing checks. Training can be provided.

• Ensure your hygiene and cleanliness are of the highest standard, and those of anyone entering the kitchen, including volunteers, are suitably dressed and uphold the same standards 

• Be part of and work closely with the Elders Team at KLS

About the team

The Philanthropy Team raises income for Impetus and for Impetus partner charities. The team consists of 16 staff. Impetus has an annual income of £10 million, which we are looking to grow to £12–£14 million within the next few years. The team is led by the Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships.

The Philanthropy Team works with major donors, corporates and grant-making trusts, as well as collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to ensure we make a compelling case to generate new financial commitments and wider support for our work. The team also delivers a high-quality engagement programme of volunteering and pro bono support for Impetus’s corporate partners.

In addition to our direct grants, we have several themed funds that support specific areas of our work, currently Connect and Engage, with plans to launch Skills and Attainment. About this role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic Philanthropy Team as an interim Events Officer. The successful candidate will be a highly organised individual who has a positive, can-do attitude, who enjoys working independently and as part of a team. ​

Impetus has a successful annual programme of fundraising and cultivation events including the Transforming Lives Dinner, the Impetus Triathlon and Impetus Future Party. We are looking for an Events Officer to support our programme of events, while also working creatively to innovate and improve our practices.​

Reporting to the Head of Events, the Events Officer is an integral part of the Impetus team, supporting our calendar of fundraising and engagement events.​

The Events Officer will be involved in all aspects of events management such liaising with venues and suppliers (catering, production, design), working with sponsors, event marketing, guest management and finance tracking. Event Delivery

We are looking for a Programme Manager to lead a transformative leadership initiative focused on equipping women - in Democratic Republic of Congo initially then expanding into West Africa - with the skills and confidence to take on leadership roles within their faith institutions and wider communities.  Additionally the role will also play a part in reviewing leadership support for women in more senior levels of leadership at the Mothers’ Union to support the sustainability of the movement worldwide.

Job Summary

The Leadership Programme Manager will oversee the development of a leadership programme and its rollout through establishing sustainable digital hubs, and providing training to women leaders and male allies.  The role will work closely with the PMEL Manager, Provincial Coordinator, church leaders and a team of trainers, to develop a comprehensive leadership curriculum, coordinate the training of trainers, establish online materials to create a hybrid learning model, monitor participant progress, and build networks to promote cross-participant learning and peer support.  This position requires expertise in developing online training resources across multi-cultural contexts, project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a remote team.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Development

• Oversee the advancement of leadership development as a core strategic priority for MU
• Develop and implement programme strategies, resources and tools that strengthen and scale the leadership development initiative, integrating research, monitoring, evaluation and learning
• Design a leadership curriculum that meets the intended project objectives and equips women across diverse contexts, through online and hybrid learning, combining spiritual guidance with practical leadership and management skills

Programme Planning and Budgeting

• Work with PMEL Manager to design and refine M&E frameworks and specific targets
• Develop and manage work plans and budgets in line with project goals and donor requirements
• Identify an appropriate digital platform to be used to run the online aspects of the leadership development programme
• Oversee the successful purchase and use of core equipment necessary to run the digital platform

Programme Implementation and Review

• Lead and support the delivery of leadership training activities across participating dioceses
• Monitor progress against programme outcomes, ensuring high-quality implementation that is timely and within budget
• Collaborate with coordinators, trainers and church leaders to review programme content and adapt as needed for relevance and effectiveness
• Support reporting, learning and sharing of best practice across participating dioceses
• Champion safeguarding and gender empowerment throughout all stages of the project
• Coordinate data collection in line with the programme M&E plan, including impact stories and other evidence of change, for use in MU communications, including social media and publications
• Conduct regular reviews to identify opportunities for programme expansion, sustainability and long-term impact

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern

This role will be based at our Head Office in Central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. In addition, Thursday is a core working day where part time staff are expected to work, either at home or from the office as needed.
