JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a creative, ambitious, and data-driven individual to join us as Senior Officer Digital Optimisation, specialising in UX/UI to lead on the development and delivery of UK for UNHCR’s testing and optimisation strategy to improve conversion rates and user experience online, including our website, donation pages, and various subdomains. The role reports to the Head of Digital Fundraising and manages all donation pages, digital testing and tracking, as well as a range of Google and optimisation products.

The primary purpose is to optimise digital performance through A/B testing across our websites and supporting teams to adopt and implement a test-and-learn framework in their digital channels to raise more funds for refugees.

An existing A/B testing roadmap has been developed and is ready for your input and ideas. However, testing and optimisation is not limited to fundraising and will aim to improve digital conversion and performance across teams, channels and platforms – playing a key part in UNHCR’s annual fundraising programme to enable UNHCR to deliver its vision of a world where every person forced to flee can build a better life.

You will work very closely with the digital fundraising team and wider Individual Giving team, as well as Communications and Philanthropy/ Corporate Partnership colleagues, our digital agency and international fundraising teams.

Passionate about UX/UI and fundraising, you will be a skilled communicator, tech-savvy and an experienced project manager. You will have strong problem-solving skills, a test-and-learn approach and a track record of meeting deadlines and meeting/ exceeding set KPIs.

Role Responsibilities  

• Develop and lead strategy for conversion rate optimisation, including the management of a testing roadmap to regularly execute A/B and multivariate tests and the use of new and existing technology, e.g. heatmapping to reduce friction rates and continuously improve and optimise conversions.
• Lead UX/UI across organisation, overseeing and implementing tests and analysis across teams to improve web experience and achieve required KPIs and objectives.
• Manage Google suite of tools and relevant relationships, ensuring everything is up to date and operating as necessary.
• Manage all donation pages and fundraising landing pages, building new pages, maintaining existing pages and closing pages; identify areas for improvement and work with relevant stakeholders to test and optimise.
• Utilise and manage suite of third-party platforms, e.g. Optimizely, Mouseflow, iRaiser, Sleeknote, Typeform to improve user experience and increase donations and conversions.
• Remain flexible and quickly respond to emergency situations, identifying fundraising opportunities and develop relevant comms and journeys as needed, collaborating with colleagues from across the organisation.
• Use data and insights to produce regular reports on performance against KPIs; use analytics to identify trends and optimise activities based on user behaviour.
• Manage and maintain vanity and tracking links across the organisation, utilising Google Tag Manager and UTMs to monitor performance and results.
• Stay up to date with digital best practices and technology, including sector trends, follow industry policies, including GDPR, PECR regulations, attending training and optimising plans accordingly.
• Stay up to date with issues affecting displaced communities, campaigns from international, content and reports from the field.
• Share creative and insights with UK colleagues, global teams, and HQ.
• Participate in training seminars, workshops, and skill shares where applicable.

Personal Attributes and Experience

Essential Experience

• Experience of implementing and optimising digital marketing campaigns across channels, including paid and organic social, search and display; preferably within the charity sector.
• Experience of developing and delivering strategies for conversion rate optimisation and user experience/user interface. 
• Experience of using digital channels for lead acquisition and conversion to grow income.
• Experience of measuring, evaluating and reporting on digital activity and performance across multiple channels and digital campaigns, paid and organic.
• Experience of working with external agencies and suppliers.

Essential Skills/Knowledge

• Experience of using Google Analytics or other web behavioural analytics tools.
• Experience with experimentation tools like Optimisely or similar.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management experience.
• Excellent written communication skills: able to produce compelling, persuasive, and concise copy for a range of specific target audiences.
• Attention to detail and proofreading skills and an ability to give clear and constructive feedback on creative and copy.
• Proven proficiency with design principles and tools (Canva/Adobe suite).
• Able to demonstrate flexibility and do what it takes to get the job done.
• Understanding of HTML and other coding languages.
• Able to juggle and prioritise multiple tasks and meeting programme deadlines.
• Strong presentation, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent stakeholder and relationship management.
• An understanding of GDPR, PECR and other regulatory compliance for fundraising and electronic communication.

 Desirable Skills/Experience

• An understanding of digital fundraising practices and principles
• Experience with Google Tag Manager or other tag management platform is a plus, but not a requirement
• Experience of working across a broad channel mix (social, web, email, SEO, SEM and other Direct Marketing channels would be advantageous).
• Knowledge or experience working with Salesforce (or similar CRM platform).
• Knowledge or experience working with Wordpress and iRaiser (or similar CMS / ecommerce platforms).
• Experience of, or a passionate interest in the charity sector, and the drive to further their fundraising knowledge.

Mind in Croydon is seeking to recruit a full time Advocacy Service Manager to join our small, dedicated team of Independent Mental Health Advocates (IMHA) working to provide advocacy services to adults subjected to detention under the Mental Health Act in the London Borough of Croydon to ensure they understand, express and exercise their rights, and to enable them to access essential services. The advocacy team also provides Community Mental Health Advocacy for people who are informal patients in psychiatric hospital or living in the community and provides weekly advocacy service at two InMind Healthcare Group hospitals in Croydon.

The role is ideal for an experienced Advocate, who is passionate about promoting the rights of people who are experiencing poor mental health, in sometimes challenging conditions, but who is also committed to nurture the next generation of future advocates, as a key part of the role will involve supervising and supporting a current trainee in addition to a qualified IMHA, providing guidance, support, and skills development on casework and advocacy.

The Cathedral and Church Buildings Department supports the care and sustainable development of the Church of England's 42 cathedrals and 16,000 church buildings, of which 12,500 are listed, to help fulfil the vision and strategy of the Church of England. Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. In 2024 we embarked on our new 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

Contract: Must be available for 2 days during w/c 15th Dec for induction and site visit before the hotel opens on 23 Dec.

The role

This is a unique opportunity to join the Crisis at Christmas team as a Women’s Pathway coordinator at a hotel and way of working we are introducing for the first time in East London. The Women-led Pathway is specifically designed for women experiencing homelessness and is a women-led initiative grounded in a psychologically informed approach. Your aim will be to ensure guests have a positive experience, that we achieve the impact we want and that there is consistency throughout the duration of the project. Crisis at Christmas is innovative and achieves great things, we want you to be part of that.

The purpose of the role is to be the key on-site point of contact for volunteers, case managers, hotel staff and members of our security team. You will play a key role in ensuring Crisis at Christmas policies and procedures around volunteering, incident management, safeguarding and guest wellbeing and behaviour are being followed. You will ensure volunteers are supported with any issues, difficult conversations and incidents that may arise with our hotel guests.

You will be responsible for escalating any serious concerns or issues to the Guest services manager, Head of Christmas and on-call managers during the Christmas period who will all be able to provide advice and guidance for any issues you may encounter on site.

To be considered for the role you must be able to be on site at the hotel in London during the Christmas period. This will include working on Bank Holidays and weekends.

Experience required 

• Previous experience managing or working intensively in services for women, ideally in a hostel or accommodation environment in the homelessness or related sector.

• Ability and confidence to consult and use own initiatives to manage risk and make appropriate decisions in complex situations.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and confidently with a wide range of audiences.

Shifts

You will also accrue annual leave during this work, which will be calculated according to statutory guidelines and will be paid in your final payslip. Holiday entitlement will be calculated as 12.07% of actual hours worked and equates to approximately £3.80 per hour for bank holidays worked and £2.40 per hour for non-bank holiday work.

The Role

We are seeking a proactive, and detail-oriented HR Coordinator (ITT onboarding) to join our Central Team, based in Ed City - London or Lift New Rickstones in Essex, on a fixed term basis. This pivotal role will ensure Lift Schools meets all statutory and regulatory requirements relating to safer recruitment, employment compliance, and Initial Teacher Training (ITT) processes.

You will lead on pre-employment checks, safeguarding compliance, and onboarding for ITT trainees — maintaining rigorous standards and robust systems to ensure that safeguarding remains at the heart of all we do. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on precision, takes pride in compliance excellence, and understands the importance of getting every detail right to protect and support our schools and trainees.

This role can be 29.6 or 30 hours per week, depending on individual preference, and working hours can be across between 4 or 5 days depending on personal preference. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the compliance process for employment checks across Lift Schools, ensuring full adherence to Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).
• Oversee DBS, right to work, reference, and medical clearances for all staff and trainees.
• Ensure employment contracts, offer letters, and variation letters are accurate, compliant, and issued on time.
• Maintain robust and auditable compliance records, producing regular reports for senior leaders.
• Manage ITT compliance processes in line with regulatory requirements (e.g. Ark Teacher Training).
• Coordinate onboarding for all new ITT trainees, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and welcoming experience.
• Develop and deliver training to staff on compliance and onboarding procedures.
• Act as the first point of contact for ITT compliance queries, providing expert advice and guidance.

A fantastic locum opportunity for skilled Outreach workers who have front line experience supporting rough sleepers.

You will be working at our Christmas Day Centres to engage with our guests looking for help, guidance, and support around their housing situation, especially those who are believed to currently be rough sleeping.

You will be employed  directly by Crisis during this period, for this reason any applications must be with permission from your current employer which must be sought and cannot be assumed.

Experience required

· Demonstrable experience of working directly with rough sleepers (e.g., in outreach, day centres or similar services)

· Good knowledge of voluntary sector services and statutory rights of homeless people

· Ability to deal flexibly with a broad range of clients, and with challenging behaviour.

· Striving for equality of opportunity in the context of rough-sleeping and homelessness

· Current registered CHAIN user

Shifts

Shifts will be 9am – 6pm and Day Centre Outreach workers must commit to a minimum of 3 shifts to be accepted into the role.

You will also accrue annual leave during this work, which will be calculated according to statutory guidelines and will be paid in your final payslip. Holiday entitlement will be calculated as 12.07% of actual hours worked and equates to approximately £3.80 per hour for bank holidays worked and £2.40 per hour for non-bank holiday work.

The Role:
 
As a Governance Executive/Coordinator, you’ll help keep governance and administrative processes running efficiently across the Institution.
 
Your responsibilities will include:
 
Governance & Membership Support

• Supporting the smooth running of Board, Council, and committee meetings
• Taking accurate minutes – capturing key discussions, decisions, and actions
• Assisting with governance processes and ongoing reviews, including following up on actions and tracking decisions
• Supporting membership records and related administrative tasks
• Coordinating schedules, sending meeting invites, and helping plan events and activities
• Acting as a reliable point of contact for trustees and senior stakeholders
• Providing admin support for fund applications and seasonal initiatives

Main Purpose of the Role

Khulisa, meaning 'nurture' in the Zulu language of South Africa, is an award-winning charity dedicated to providing therapeutic support to young people. We focus on reaching those who are most at risk – young people from deprived communities who are often marginalized, vulnerable to exclusion, and at heightened risk of becoming involved in crime. Our approach centres on safe, exploratory methods that aim to understand behaviour and experiences often rooted in trauma, abuse, and neglect. We deliver intensive therapeutic programs within educational and community settings, empowering young people to confront the underlying causes of their emotional distress and work toward healing. To create lasting, sustainable change, we work to establish trauma-informed environments around young people by equipping parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals with the tools they need to offer effective, supportive care. Currently, our services are active in London and Manchester.

As the post holder you will be responsible for delivering our front-line work to young people, parents and other adults (professionals). You will work in schools and in community settings across London to generate impact for young people using Khulisa’s trauma-informed approach. This role requires an enhanced DBS check.

The post holder will be required to work from home permanently but be willing and able to easily travel regularly to various locations in London as necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role, to deliver aspects of the programme, and to engage with other stakeholders and colleagues.

 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Programme Delivery:

· Facilitate the delivery of sessions in our flagship Face It programme and modular workshops to young people, our Nurturing Connections programme for parents and carers, and our trauma training for professionals.

· Facilitate delivery to a high standard in all settings (schools, youth services, and community spaces), ensuring that you are always taking a trauma informed approach.

· Facilitate various youth participation workshops, co-delivering with young people as much as practicable.

· Respond to any questions, disclosures or safeguarding concerns raised during sessions and follow up where necessary with the relevant safeguarding teams or, where consent is secured, make onward referrals for additional support in specific cases.

· Contribute to the continuous development of all aspects of the programmes, sharing new ideas and using best practice.

· Participate in the periodic review and updating of programme contents and/or development of new materials with relevant colleagues, ensuring that materials used across the team are always uniform and consistent.

· Maintain accurate records of programme activities, including record of input, output, and impact as well as demographics data, and support relevant colleagues in ensuring effective monitoring and periodic evaluation and reporting of impact generated.

· Manage relevant budgets and ensure a value for money approach to all expenditure, making sure to keep within budget.

Programme Coordination:

· Take direct responsibility for logistics of individual programme delivery or activity, including scheduling, resourcing, staffing, and liaising with schools and other partners to ensure effective delivery.

· Work with colleagues in Impact and Evidence team to provide programme data as required to effectively demonstrate impact generated through your delivery.

· Where possible during delivery, generate multi-media content for the use of colleagues in communications to use in updating the Khulisa website and for social media.

Stakeholder Management:

· Support the Programmes & Participation Manager in the building and maintenance of strong relationships with delivery partners - schools, community organisations, and other important stakeholders.

· Contribute to any work to use learning from delivery activities to redesign existing programmes and/or develop new pieces of work as required.

· If required, represent Khulisa at events, meetings, and conferences as required etc.

· Support the onboarding and training of Associate Facilitators and volunteers as necessary.

· When required, support the onboarding and training of other permanent programme staff.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

· Objectively review the successes and achievements of each delivery session facilitated against programme or activity objectives, identifying and implementing opportunities for making ongoing improvements.

· To actively deliver all elements of the Khulisa programme, including work with adults and Khulisa’s Young Influencers.

· Depending on experience and qualifications, to be receptive to any other duties as required by the line manager and in line with the needs of Khulisa.

· To develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and other professionals, and to participate in team meetings.

· To participate in personal supervision in accordance with Khulisa’s supervision and performance appraisal policy and attend agreed training as relevant.

· At all times to carry out the responsibilities of the post in a manner consistent with promoting equalities and diversity and demonstrate respect for colleagues and Khulisa’s aims and values.

· To maintain an awareness of own and others’ health and safety and comply with Khulisa’s Health and Safety policies and procedures.
