Purpose of Role

To work within the Contracts and Planning team supporting the delivery of the Trust, Foundation and Statutory Programme. The role is responsible for liaising with teams across the organisation to develop funding bids which meet the needs of the organisation and prospect research, income monitoring and reporting requirements.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

1. Work with operational teams to develop funding applications to meet agreed income targets to help fund core activities and priority projects.

2. To develop and maintain a list of suitable, well researched prospects and ensure that opportunities for funding are not missed by maintaining a suitable pipeline.

3. Regular review of income pledges and received, and the funding pipeline, reporting progress and risks to manager.

4. Liaise with relevant project staff to coordinate and submit monitoring and evaluation reports to funders.

5. Ensure all reporting requirements are met in line with agreed deadlines.

6. To ensure that all relevant administration is recorded accurately on the fundraising CRM and shared team databases.

7. To monitor payment dates and ensure payments are received when expected.

8. Build and maintain relationships with funders, helping them to understand the impact of their support.

9. Support the Contracts and Planning Team with other duties as required, contributing flexibly to wider team priorities and organisational needs

A growing £1million turnover charity dedicated to the health and wellbeing of children and adults through the healing power of music have newly created a Head of Finance and Operations role. As part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), the Head of Finance and Operations provides a pivotal role in the strategic and operational leadership across the core support functions of the charity. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• As a member of the SLT, actively contribute to the development and delivery of the charity's strategic plan, leading on the organisational planning and performance for operational areas.

About The Role
We are recruiting for a Regional Legacy Giving Manager on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week. This is a fixed-term maternity cover contract lasting for 12 months.

As our Regional Legacy Giving Manager for the South, you’ll be responsible for managing and motivating a high performing team of Legacy Giving Officers and Legacy Partnership Officers.

- Direct line management of regionally based Legacy Giving Officers (LGOs) and Legacy Partnership Officers (LPOs) and leading them in co-ordinating the delivery of legacy events and stewardship activities, alongside developing our Will offers and engagement with legal firms.
- Meeting agreed annual targets for both legacy gifts and Will offer metrics across five regions.
- Developing and delivering the stewardship plan ensuring ongoing engagement with supporters who are interested in leaving a charitable gift in their will by upgrading and converting through the legacy cycle: enquirer, considerer, intender, pledger.
- Providing statistical and narrative reports on Team South’s legacy activity each month and as otherwise required.

The Communications Director will sit at the heart of this work - shaping and delivering a bold communications strategy aligned with Purposeful’s vision, mission, and growth.

This role leads the stewardship of Purposeful’s voice, visual identity, and storytelling practice, ensuring that everything we produce - whether op-eds, reports, campaigns, or digital content - carries our politics with clarity and conviction. The Communications Director will work closely with the Co-CEOs and across all Purposeful teams, including Advocacy, grant-making, Learning & Insights, Programmes, and Resource Mobilisation, to amplify girls’ organising, showcase our impact, and influence the broader philanthropic and activist ecosystem.

This is both a strategic and hands-on role, requiring a deep commitment to feminist movements, an instinct for storytelling as political practice, and a proven track record of positioning organisations on the global stage.

 

SCOPE OF WORK

1. Communications Strategy & Leadership

• Lead on delivery and implementation of a new communications strategy, building on 2025 planning foundations.

• Work closely with the Co-CEOs and director team to horizon scan and adapt strategy in response to organisational vision and external landscape.

• Provide leadership to a small team of staff and consultants (designers, digital specialists, artists) and work collaboratively with partner communications leads on joint campaigns and initiatives.

• Meticulously manage and forecast the communications and editorial budget, ensuring value for money and strong planning.

2. Storytelling & Content Development

• Oversee production and capture of content from live and digital events (webinars, IG Lives, panels, etc.).

3. Writing & Editorial Oversight

• Review and edit all external content to ensure quality, editorial standard, and alignment with Purposeful’s voice and values.

• Write op-eds, blogs, social media posts, campaign messaging, press materials, and executive summaries.

• Collaborate with colleagues in Learning & Insights to integrate data into storytelling and publications.

The Soldiers' and Aviators' Scripture Readers Association (known as SASRA) is one of the longest-established Christian charities supporting the British Armed Forces. Under Royal patronage and working with over 70,000 soldiers, 30,000 RAF personnel and some 10,000 supporters of various types, we look to introduce members of the British Armed Forces to a practical experience of the Christian faith. 

We are now looking for home-based Regional Managers to help us engage with the Christian public across the UK.

The main function of Regional Managers is to bring before the Christian public the work we do taking the gospel of Jesus Christ and bringing a practical experience of the Christian faith to the young people of the British Army and Royal Air Force.

The Regional Manager will present in churches, manage a team of volunteers, establish and maintain strategic partnerships across their region, lead regional projects and events, and produce and curate a wide variety of content.

The Community Engagement Officer is an essential role in fostering strong relationships with current and prospective members of the School Library Association community. The postholder will provide frontline support, drive online and in person engagement through outreach initiatives, and contribute to the growth and sustainability of the membership base. Coordinating and supporting our Branch network, you will collaborate on initiatives for development, delivery and new projects as they come online. You will be the first port of call for advice and expertise relating to school libraries and enabling our members to more effectively support their school communities. As resident children’s book expert, you will help with initiatives such as the SLA Information Book Award and member book related events. Supporting the delivery of online and in-person networking events and workshops for members, you will work with your SLA colleagues, in particular the Training and Events Officer, to deliver a high-quality member offer and to ensure member needs are reflected in all offerings. The ability to travel to training and events across the UK is essential. Duties include:

Branch network and member support

• Support the SLA Branch Network and member outreach
• Identify opportunities for developing initiatives to grow and develop the Branch network community, that will deliver on the SLA mission
• Develop strong relationships with local, regional and national stakeholders to support network growth and enable members to take full advantage of all relevant opportunities available to them
• Provide advice for SLA members on all aspects of school libraries, ensuring they are supported and can be as effective as possible in their school communities 
• Drive engagement and development of online communities as part of the branch network

• Support the development and delivery of a calendar of online and in-person networking and engagement events and workshops

Outreach and communications

An ability to foster collaboration and community engagement will be an important part of this role. All team members contribute to office admin, maintaining member data and general office support.

At Rights & Security International, we are seeking a part-time Racial Justice Officer to support the growth of our racial justice work in the UK. We are a London-based international human rights organisation that works to end racism, Islamophobia and other abuses when governments act in the name of ‘security’ or ‘counter-terrorism’.

For the past decade, we have been investigating the UK’s ‘Prevent’ counter-extremism programme, including how it impacts minoritised children in schools, British Muslims and neurodivergent people.

We are looking for someone with a broad skill set ranging from research and analysis to outreach and networking. You will help us build or join advocacy networks among national and local UK groups, support our litigation and freedom-of-information requests on Prevent, and investigate possible harms.
