Job description

Interim Human Resources Manager – Female Applicants Only
Hybrid | Full-Time | London

MLC Partners are recruiting for an interim Senior HR professional to join a mission-led organisation based in central London. Starting ASAP, working hybrid 1-2days/week in the office.

Managing a small team, the ideal candidate will be passionate about inclusive leadership, wellbeing, and empowering people within an organisation that’s doing life-changing work. You’ll act as a trusted partner to leadership, ensuring HR practices are inclusive, supportive, and aligned with the charity’s mission. You’ll help shape policy, culture, and processes while actively contributing to wellbeing, development, and equity-focused initiatives across the organisation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Proven experience leading HR teams and strategy
  • Supporting line managers with coaching, training, employee relations, and performance management
  • Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and team lifecycle processes
  • Implementing and managing the HR system (CIPHR)
  • A commitment to equity, diversity, and staff wellbeing
  • CIPD Level 5+ (or equivalent experience)

Key criteria:

  • Experience in the charity, women’s sector, or trauma-informed settings
  • Proven experience managing HR functions and teams
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Familiarity with CIPHR or other HRIS platforms (and a bonus of implementing a new system)
