Pay scale: £30,000 to £32,000 dependant on experience, full time equivalent. £24,000 to £25,600 actual salary, depending on experience.

Working hours: 28 hours per week (35 hours full time equivalent) within normal operating hours. (Normal operating hours are 8.00am - 6.30pm, Monday – Friday.) Lunch & other breaks are unpaid.

Special conditions: Some evening work may be required for which time off in lieu (TOIL) will be granted. Some travel will be required.

JOB PURPOSE 

To assist the Programmes & Funding Manager in coordinating the day-to-day delivery of AdviceUK's funded programmes. The role will keep projects running smoothly, maintain accurate monitoring data, and be a reliable first point of contact for members and delivery partners. The Programmes & Funding Officer will also assist in maintaining stakeholder relationships and ensuring that AdviceUK members have the practical support needed to access and sustain advice services.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

1.Programme & Project Support

·Assist the Programmes & Funding Manager in the delivery of AdviceUK's funded programmes and contribute to their design and development where required.

·Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of funded projects, keeping track of timelines, milestones and actions in line with agreed project plans.

·Support the coordination of AdviceUK staff and external associates/trainers involved in programme delivery.

·Maintain project governance processes and practical workflows to ensure funder requirements are met.

2.Development & Funding Support

·Conduct research on potential funders and commissioners at local and national levels to identify new opportunities.

·Provide administrative support during the drafting of funding bids, tenders, and proposals.

3.Relationship Management

·Liaise with members, stakeholders and partners to maintain positive working relationships.

·Support the Manager in organising meetings and events with key stakeholders in the advice sector.

·Ensure AdviceUK’s vision and values are reflected in all external communications and interactions.

4.Monitoring, Data & Evidence

·Maintain and update CRMs and other reporting tools to ensure accurate programme progress tracking.

·Collate monitoring data and project evaluations to help demonstrate performance against KPIs.

·Assist in the preparation of financial and non-financial reports for funders and stakeholders.

·Help identify and share impact studies and good practice case studies from projects with the wider membership and sector.

5.General Responsibilities

·Ensure you effectively communicate AdviceUK’s vision, mission and objectives to staff, members and external stakeholders.

·Ensure you demonstrate AdviceUK’s values and behaviours in all aspects of your work

·Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders including staff trustees; members, partners and suppliers

This role leads the development of evidence-based, equity-driven research, policy and legal interventions that advance a rapid and fair transition away from oil and gas production in the UK.

About us

Uplift supports efforts to create a rapid and fair transition away from oil and gas production in the UK. We urgently need to phase out oil and gas drilling to stay within safe climate limits. Yet, despite having renewable resources in abundance, the UK remains Europe’s second largest oil and gas producer. We can and must be ambitious about moving past oil and gas production, while empowering and supporting workers and communities who rely on the industry for their livelihoods. Working with everyone from policy-makers and Parliamentarians, to academics and campaigners, Uplift undertakes research, analysis and campaigning to support a rapid and fair transition away from oil and gas production in the UK.

Main Role & Responsibilities

The post holder will be an active member of our programmes team and will work across our portfolio of programmes, with responsibility for engagement within Wales. Although remote working, they would need to be living in Wales for travel purposes.

They will be responsible for regional stakeholder engagement, developing and maintaining relationships and promoting Ygam training. They will recruit suitable delegates to Ygam’s full portfolio of workshops.

They will provide training both face to face and online and will be responsible for the delivery of our assured workshops and promoting the work of Ygam at conferences and events.

The post holder will maintain excellent relationship with Ygam Stakeholders and beneficiaries, providing ongoing support to organisations, to help them implement Ygam resources, and visits to schools and organisations as part of this work is crucial. · Identify and attend conferences, seminars, and organisational events to support our work. 

· Signpost organisations to the Ygam Family Hub to increase awareness.

· Work closely with The Programme Lead: Delivery and outcomes, to develop objectives and review individual performance.

Delivery 

· Deliver the Ygam portfolio of workshops (online and face to face).

· Deliver workshops directly to children and young people in education and non-education settings

· Provide high quality training to a range of professionals in line with Ygam’s Quality Assurance processes.

· Deliver workshops and training independently as well as through team teach approach.

· Be responsive to delegates needs, answering questions and queries in a supportive manner.

· Promote Ygam’s additional offerings, such as Alumni and resources.

· Provide an excellent customer service to delegates.

Outcomes:

· Provide ongoing support to schools and youth organisations to help imbed Ygam materials within curriculum.

· Ensure accuracy of data utilising the CRM system

· Deliver and develop team teach opportunities to support teachers and other professionals to implement Ygam resources.

· Develop Case study opportunities to understand the impact of the Ygam resources.

· Work with the Insight team and evaluators to measure impact and performance. 

Learning and Development:

Essential:

· Prior experience in delivering training to adults and children

· Ability to translate complex issues to delegates and respond thoughtfully to questions

· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

· Outstanding understanding of IT applications (MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint especially).

· Experience of developing and delivering a sales pipeline and achieving KPI’s.

· Self-administrating experience.

The Role: 

As a key member of the Finance team, the Management Accountant will play a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Finance & Compliance and wider Finance Team. This role goes beyond traditional accounting responsibilities, partnering with budget holders and colleagues across the organisation to provide insightful financial guidance, strengthen budget management, and support informed decision-making at all levels

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly management accounts (including detailed commentary)
  • P&L forecasting by department

The Role: 

The Director of Business Development will join the Executive Leadership Team (EMT) at Manchester United Foundation with a core focus on modernising and diversifying income streams that the charity accesses, whilst supporting the effective existing team in charity fundraising development and delivery.
The postholder will support with the development of a new strategy and capitalise on its focuses to identify and access funding streams to deliver the objectives set in this new plan.

Role Purpose

To support the engagement and activation of key audiences to take action in support of ending the need for food banks. Responsible for delivering mobilisation opportunities and actions to new and existing supporters and driving meaningful change through action.

This role is part of the Together with Trussell programme, the goal of which is to build stronger connections with our supporters, partners and donors in order to increase funding, campaigning and other forms of support for our work. As a member of an enabling programme, this role is focused on the successful delivery of the Together with Trussell programme outcomes, which underpin and enable the outcomes of our 5 external programmes - together contributing to the fulfilment of our long term vision of a UK without the need for food banks.

Audience engagement and supporter activation

Work with the Senior Audience Mobilisation Manager and Audience Mobilisation Manager to develop and deliver campaigning actions that recruit and inspire new supporters, deepen engagement with existing audiences and build widespread public support for our vision, while collaborating with the Email Marketing Manager and Supporter Data Manager to deliver engaging, insights driven activity aligned to our audience strategy and supporting audience retention.

Cross team collaboration

Child Bereavement UK is a digital first organisation leading the way in Digital Transformation across the Bereavement sector. This role will play a vital part in helping Child Bereavement UK turn up the dial across our Regional Fundraising team.

The Head of Regional Fundraising is responsible for overseeing our team of Regional Fundraising Managers and Challenge Events team to maximise income from community groups and associations, businesses and individuals as well as leading the growth and diversity of the challenge events portfolio.

Alongside leading the regional team, you will also be the main point of contact for our team of Community Ambassador Volunteers. You will work with them to keep them engaged, inspired and active with great training, communication, and by providing them with the tools, materials and resources they need to fulfil their roles across the country. 

You will develop outstanding supporter relationships and delivering long-term sustainable income through innovative, audience led fundraising. 

Main Responsibilities

Leadership 

· To lead and inspire the Regional Fundraising team fostering a collaborative and high performing culture that delivers against income and objectives
