We’re looking for an Evaluation Coordinator to play a key role in delivering our first large-scale Randomised Control Trial (RCT) with the Education Endowment Foundation and the University of Warwick. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in education evaluation, policy and charity delivery.

In this role, you will:

• Coordinate partner colleges and manage trial contracts, invoicing, and onboarding

• Support student data collection, survey administration and attendance tracking

• Liaise with evaluators, internal teams and stakeholders to keep the project on track

• Manage reporting milestones and final data collection in 2026

• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce (training provided)

About Get Further

One in three students leave school each year without a standard pass (grade 4 or above) in GCSE English and maths, with this rising to over one in two among disadvantaged young people. This educational gap leads to significant barriers in further education, apprenticeships, and employment, impacting millions throughout adulthood.

Get Further exists to change this. Our charity delivers targeted interventions to help disadvantaged learners in Further Education secure gateway English and maths qualifications that open doors to better opportunities. Our programmes include an award-winning GCSE Resit Tuition Programme, Functional Skills Tuition, and specialist support for teachers and leaders.

The Role

We are seeking a driven and passionate Marketing and Communications Officer to lead our day-to-day digital communications and support the delivery of creative marketing, brand, and advocacy initiatives. Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will help bring our mission to life through compelling content and consistent, high-quality communications.

Key Responsibilities

Digital platforms

• Create and deliver engaging social media content and campaigns

We’re recruiting for a Communications Manager, England, to play a vital role in helping us to build community cohesion, strengthen society, and improve lives – as we deliver on our strategy, It Starts With Community.This role is an 18 month fixed term contract or secondment opportunity. 

The position is part of an exciting and sophisticated programme aimed at tackling social issues. Through this initiative, we work closely with government to distribute money from long since unused bank and building society accounts (‘dormant assets’) for the benefit of the community. 

The job will focus on two multi-million-pound funding schemes that The National Lottery Community Fund will deliver. These are:

•  The Community Wealth Fund (a pot of money given to local communities to spend on what they decide will improve where they live); and 
• The Youth Enrichment Fund (aimed at increasing disadvantaged young people’s access to opportunities in the arts, culture, sports, and wider youth services, aimed at improving wellbeing and employability)

Brent Mencap offers fantastic free creative and wellbeing activities for people with a learning disability, autism and long-term health conditions. These have flourished since Covid. People love yoga, poetry, singing, gardening, Breathe and Move, self-advocacy, campaigning, awareness raising, CREATE art activities for young people, external trips and parties. Small grants, donations and our reserves fund this while we get longer term funding. Our self-advocates want us to focus on paid employment, youth services and making Brent Council use accessible information properly. People with a learning disability, neurodiversity and their family carers are inclusively supported by social prescribers for advice and by health educators/coaches for health-related matters if needed.

Our current finance manager has been pivotal to Brent Mencap’s recent growth, adapting to paying more people, dealing with complicated invoices, making sure we get paid promptly, being as diligent about a project budget worth 5k as our overall budget and supportive with staff  wage queries. While there is lots of data input, reconciling, processing purchase orders, the role involves real involvement in project development, monitoring with other managers and face-to-face involvement with users and staff. It’s never boring and definitely not for the faint hearted!!

As Finance Manager for Brent Mencap, you will have a key leadership position. You will be responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of our finances, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements while ensuring our services are sustainable through sound financial planning. Summary of the role:

The Global Programmes Manager provides supervision and management support to Muslim Aid Country Offices and implementing partners ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of high-quality delivery of projects and programmes in line with organizational strategy, in compliance with donor expectations, governmental and international standards.

The role is responsible for technical and management advice and support to ensure Muslim Aid Country Offices and partners are implementing, monitoring and evaluating programme activities in compliance with Muslim Aid’s strategy and budget as well as recognised international standards.

The Role

The Events & Fundraising Manager will work at the heart of our public events programme, helping to organise fundraising walks and other events across London and the South East, and raising funds to support the provision of free legal advice. Our events include the London Legal Walk -- an annual event which raises over £1 million each year -- regional Legal Walk events, and other fundraising events such as the Great Legal Quiz and the Great Legal Bake. LLST also purchases places for third party events such as the London Marathon, Brighton Marathon, and Big Half. We also raise money through individual and corporate donations.

The Events & Fundraising Manager's principal role is to manage these events and promote our fundraising in support of free legal advice charities in London and the South East. Your main duties and responsibilities will include the following: 

• Organising events
• Establishing and managing partnerships
• Managing staff and volunteers 
• Marketing and communications

We are looking for a candidate with demonstratable and relevant experience working at a senior level in mass participation and third-party challenge events. The person will be organised with experience managing projects, budgets, partnerships with funders and key stakeholders, suppliers, volunteers and staff.

The Role

This is a pivotal leadership role, reporting to the Associate Director of Finance and managing the Financial Partnering, Planning & Analysis Team. As part of the Finance & Assurance Leadership Team, you'll be instrumental in leading cultural change, embedding collective leadership, and shaping the future of financial partnering across the organisation. You'll define and deliver a consistent, high-quality approach to financial planning and analysis - balancing strong relationships with analytical rigour. This role is about codifying what FP&A means in practice: not just being "all things to all people," but establishing clear standards, tools, and expectations across directorates.

Responsible for

Grants:

• Identifying and researching trusts, foundations, and grant opportunities to add to the pipeline 

• Liaising with the Programmes team and others on the content of an application 

• Writing and submitting high-quality applications

• Tracking and updating all submissions on our CRM (Salesforce) 

Business development: 

• Generating prospect leads through desk-based research and identifying sectors and organisations to target 

• Contacting prospects and leading initial conversations 

• Responding to incoming requests from organisations 

• Represent Brightside at networking events

• Writing bespoke and compelling proposals 

• Tracking and updating all relationships on our CRM (Salesforce) 

Communications and marketing: 

• Working with the team to identify marketing campaigns and collateral to attract new leads 

• Supporting the creation of new content for the website, campaigns, and marketing 

• Maintaining and managing the website 

• Collating statistics on social media and website engagement 

• Supporting the delivery of campaigns to increase individual giving 

Reporting: 

• Providing regular, accurate reports on progress related to income generating activity, including the pipeline, applications or prospects, and secured income 

• Monitoring progress of grants and business development 

• Inputting to the quarterly work plan and priorities 

Team working 

• You will be line managed by the Income Generation Lead 

• You will work closely with Partnership Lead and other members of the Programmes team where relevant 

• You will work regularly with external freelancers responsible for marketing and social media

• Have at least 12 months relevant business development or fundraising work experience 

• Have demonstrable experience of email outreach and/or funding applications
