Job Title: Freelance Facilitator
Reporting to: Senior Programme Lead
Location: Staffordshire, in particular Stafford and surrounding area
Salary: £120 per day (including travel) plus £25 to attend meetings with a school (if required) and £50 for attending half day training or £100 for full day training. Expenses can also be claimed for programme snacks and travel to training.

We are seeking Freelance Programme Facilitators to join a pool to deliver our programmes in Staffordshire. Supported by our Programme Development Manager with training and resources you will help children and young people who are experiencing vulnerabilities and disadvantages improve their wellbeing, re-engage with school and learning, build networks and access opportunities.
Programme Facilitators work with significant autonomy and authority. They must embrace responsibility and are accountable for their work. They work collaboratively alongside young people, operating as a mentor as they empower young people to develop self-esteem, become resilient and engage with school and their own future. They give each young person the time, the confidence and skills to engage with their education.
You will work in schools and community settings to support young people and their families to ensure that at-risk children and young people make the most of their potential and improve their life chances. Work will include 1:1 support and delivery of Power2’s core programmes.

About the Event
The Schools Triathlon is a fun, mass participation sporting event for 7–13 year olds. Its mission? To get more young people moving, having fun, and discovering the power of fundraising. In 2025, over 10,000 young people took part in 12 events, raising an incredible £1.5 million for Restless Development and local charities. Since it began, the Schools Triathlon has raised over £5 million—making it our flagship fundraising event.
About the Role
As the Fundraising Events Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in delivering the Schools Triathlon series. You’ll work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including the Schools Triathlon Committee, event venues, local schools, participants, volunteers, and our event delivery partners.
You’ll take the lead on two to three Schools Triathlon events, managing all aspects of planning and delivery with the school and our third party event company. This includes delivering engaging school assemblies at local schools to inspire pupils to take part and fundraise for Restless Development.
Our volunteers are the heart of the Schools Triathlon and without them, these events simply couldn’t happen. This role will be crucial in recruiting, coordinating, and supporting volunteers before, during, and after each event.

Primary location of role

Summary
The National Society for Education (NSE) is both an NCI and a Royal-charter charity. It's aims are to support Church schools and the wider education sector by developing leaders, shaping policy and growing faith.
The NSE leads the Church of England's national work in education in partnership with 41 Diocesan Boards of Education and approximately 4,700 Church of England schools. We also support the national education work of the Church in Wales, which includes around 150 schools. Position: Social Worker or Senior Social Worker
Location: Based in either our Milton Keynes or our London team, with hybrid working arrangements in place for both home and office working, and travel covering Milton Keynes, North London and surrounding areas.
Contract: Permanent full time – 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Salary Ranges: Social Worker - Salary in the range of £34,053 - £41,620 per annum. Senior Social Worker - Salary in the range of £39,292 - £48,022 per annum. If based from our London office, a location allowance of £3,299 per annum will be payable.
About the role:
Our Social Worker/Senior Social Worker’s role is a pivotal one within our Adoption service. Some of your responsibilities will include:
· undertaking ‘home study’ assessments (PARs) and present these to the adoption panel
· support families throughout the matching process and once children are placed, up until the Adoption Order
· participating in recruitment activities and training for prospective adopters
About you:
As a Social Worker, you’ll bring a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in childcare social work and as a Senior Social Worker, a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience. You’ll have an understanding of child development and the impact on behaviour of interrupted development. You’ll have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrate a commitment to equality, diversity, equity and inclusion within service delivery.

You will be instrumental in the quality and impactful implementation, delivery and retention of our sites. You will oversee the delivery of exceptional outcomes in support of the charity's mission.
