The Role

MMHS is seeking a Finance Manager to lead on the production of monthly management accounts, financial forecasting, and day-to-day financial operations. Reporting to the Director of Finance, ICT and Investments, you’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, transparency, and continuous improvement. This is a fantastic opportunity to operate as a number two to the Director and gradually increase your skillset.

The role

• To ensure that the safety and wellbeing of the client is monitored and reviewed regularly.

About the Role 

BCYP is seeking a seasoned Communications and Marketing Officer who will design and implement a strategy to boost BCYP’s brand and support the efforts of clinicians. The candidate will also support the fundraising team through grassroots event management and the adoption of a small portfolio of donors. Some event and project management will be required, in particular supporting the delivery of seminars and training programmes, as well as community events.

The applicant will have excellent communication skills, be able to translate the stakeholders’ (Trustees/clinicians/donors/young people) needs and broadcast them to the community. Providence Row works with people experiencing homelessness and those who are vulnerably housed in London, offering an integrated service of crisis support, advice, and progression programmes. The ideal candidate

It is essential that you have experience in gardening and food growing, as well as experience in supporting others to develop their skills and confidence in these areas. You will have excellent organisational and time-management skills, enabling you to run our Gardening Trainee Scheme effectively. Ideally, you may also have experience in delivering relevant accredited qualifications related to horticulture and food growing.

Garden Maintenance and Development

• Ensure the rooftop garden is well-maintained, attractive, and productive year-round.

• Develop and deliver seasonal planting plans, including food growing for use in Providence Row’s kitchen.

• Manage garden budgets, materials, and equipment responsibly.

• Oversee health and safety in the garden, ensuring safe practice for clients, volunteers, and visitors.

Learning and Client Engagement

• Facilitate the Gardening Trainee Scheme, supporting participants to gain skills, confidence, and progression opportunities.

• Deliver structured learning sessions and contribute to accredited training programmes.

• Support trainees with portfolio development and evidence gathering where required.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure clients with complex needs can engage meaningfully and safely in gardening activities.

Volunteers and Partnerships

• Supervise and support individual volunteers in the garden.

• Facilitate corporate volunteer challenges and group sessions.

• Work closely with the Catering team to align food growing with kitchen needs.

Monitoring and Reporting

• Collect and share monitoring information with the Progression & Training Manager.

• Contribute to reports for funders, partners, and stakeholders.

Other

• Contribute occasionally to organisation-wide events and activities.

We are seeking an inspiring leader to become the next Chief Executive of the Magistrates’ Association, the only independent voice of magistrates in England and Wales.

The MA is a Royal Charter charity with around 12,000 members. For more than a century we have championed magistrates, supported their development, and spoken truth to power on behalf of the magistracy and the wider justice system.

About Shout Out UK (SOUK):

Shout Out UK (SOUK) is a UK-based award-winning political and media literacy organisation with nearly a decade of experience in delivering impactful educational campaigns. Our mission is to defend and amplify democracy by equipping individuals with the critical thinking skills needed to navigate the complex information landscape and engage as informed, active citizens. We have a strong track record of working with educators and young people across various contexts, and we are the secretariat for the UK’s All-Party Parliamentary Group for Political and Media Literacy.

The Position:

You will be joining our small, passionate NGO to manage our programme implementation and delivery. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be tasked with managing the distribution and delivery of our programmes. This will involve ensuring KPIs are met within budget and on time, larger projects may be handled by you directly at times. Programmes can vary from delivery of media literacy workshops in schools, counter extremism training in PRUs to city-wide democratic engagement campaigns.

The applicant needs to be motivated, interested in counter-extremism and passionate about Political & Media Literacy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and deliver on our diverse projects 

• Coordinate our UK and US based delivery teams.

• Ensuring projects hit required KPIs on time and within budget.

• Tracking project expenses and improving efficiency of output.

• Run key projects yourself as required.

• Recruit, coordinate and support schools and teachers across the UK to take on our political and media literacy workshops and projects.

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with teachers, councils and other stakeholders.

• Assist in the collection and collation of data for the project’s monitoring and evaluation activities, including pre- and post-session surveys.

• Contribute to the preparation of project reports.

• Coordination and growth of our freelance delivery network, known as the Community Facilitator Network (CFN).

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in project coordination or administration, preferably in the education, non-profit, or related sector.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

• Experience in event planning and logistics coordination.

• Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail) and other relevant software.

• A strong interest in political and media literacy, civic engagement, and addressing online harms.

• Ability to work independently and proactively, taking initiative to solve problems.

• Familiarity with online learning platforms and virtual communication tools.

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, social sciences, communications) is preferred.

• Strong writing skills are desirable.

Above all, you understand the needs and pressures faced by schools, sixth forms, and further education colleges. The Food Foundation is an award winning charity with a vision of a sustainable food system which delivers health and well-being for all. We are now recruiting a Campaign Lead. The job will play a leading role in driving forward and helping to scale up an exciting new three-year campaign and programme of work funded by the National Lottery working to boost consumption of beans, legumes and pulses in the UK. Beans are a win-win-win for health, environmental and affordability objectives, and yet despite this consumption is very low in the UK. The Food Foundation, alongside partners Veg Power, Kent Student Union and close collaborators Beans is How, University of Kent, and Birmingham City Council are working to change this and aiming to double UK bean consumption by 2028.

The programme began in May 2025 and encompasses the following workstreams, which together aim to change perceptions around beans and shift the food environment so that options with beans are more available and appealing:

1. A creative and impactful public facing digital campaign to drive demand, raise awareness of the brilliance of beans and get people inspired about cooking with beans. The target audience for the digital campaign is 18-35 year olds. We’ll focus on chefs and other digital influencers given their role in shaping food trends and menus and create digital assets to share on social media and with community, membership and youth organisations to create a wider movement to boost appeal. We are working with ARK agency on the creative campaign.

2. Build a community of action among national food businesses by obtaining commitments to increase sales and servings of beans, working with businesses on evidence-based actions they can take to boost sales/servings of beans to support them to reduce their scope 3 emissions and hit healthy & sustainable diet objectives.

3. Run a schools programme to reach families and their kids. We’ll focus on children in 750 primary schools in the lower half of the deprivation scale in England, Scotland and NI, working to engage caterers, teachers and parents to drive increased uptake.

4. We’ll activate the campaign in two places, University of Kent and Birmingham, working closely with local partners to do so and scale the learnings nationally.

The role will be placed in our campaigns team, working closely with our comms team and food business transformation team to ensure the digital and public campaign is successful. You’ll be working to enlist supporters and influencers to scale the size and reach of the campaign and create a broader community of action and support, engaging with community and youth organisations to increase awareness of our campaign and ensure our toolkit of bean assets is embedded in organisations across the UK, and building strong relationships with media partners, brands and platforms to expand our reach.

Main duties 

- Supporting the Head of Campaigns with outreach to community and youth organisations to build a broader community of action on beans

- Attending meetings to pitch the campaign to new partners

- Supporting our Head of Campaigns and partner organisation Veg Power to enlist, manage and brief chefs and influencers supporting the campaign

- Working closely with our creative agency and comms team to coordinate, implement and evaluate the digital campaign, especially on social media

- Engaging and building strong relationships with media partners and outlets to ensure beans are part of the conversation and in editorial content plans

- Working with our Food Business Transformation team to explore opportunities for the digital campaign to support business engagement (and vice versa) and activation of the campaign at a local level

- Working with the Food Business Transformation Team to develop a way to monitor and evaluate the actions taken by stakeholders

- Coordinating with project partners and other supporting organisations to align campaigning and communication activities

- Exploring and creating opportunities to amplify the campaign beyond its core activities, with a particular focus on reaching our target demographic of 18-35 year-olds.
