Purpose of the post:

To provide specialised, holistic support to young people between the age of 18 and 25 who have experienced domestic or sexual abuse, harm and violence, and are being supported within Community services in Torfaen.

We are looking for a compassionate, reflective, and person-centred individual to join our team in delivering trauma-informed support to adults and families. This role is about more than providing a service—it’s about striving for people to feel safer, gain more control, and have choice over decisions about their future.

You’ll work collaboratively to create environments where individuals feel seen, heard, and respected, and where their experiences and strengths shape the support, they receive.

Specific responsibilities

• Collaborate with individuals and team members to provide trauma informed support to a caseload of young people within community settings.
• Assess and manage risk sensitively and collaboratively, promoting safety through strengths-based approaches that recognise each person’s lived experience.
• Co-develop personalised support and/or safety plans with individuals, ensuring goals are meaningful, achievable, and shaped by the person’s own priorities and values.

Working within the Potteries Moneywise Team

Casework – The post holder will conduct a full exploration of the client’s financial and holistic circumstances to provide robust advice specific to the client’s needs.

The advisor will be required to act for the client where necessary and communicate with third parties such as water providers, energy providers or the Local Authority to progress the client’s case.

Advice will be delivered through a variety of channels including face-to-face (drop-in and appointments), telephone or digital channels and must conform to the Citizens Advice Quality of Advice standards and funder requirements.

The prospective advisor will be able to balance good quality alongside being able to achieve SLAs and KPIs in accordance with our contractual agreements.

Casework – The post-holder will carry a specialist caseload, providing advice and casework covering the full range of debt issues and solutions. This includes but is not limited to, dealing with emergencies, making use of the Breathing Space scheme, making offers of repayment, drafting financial statements, advising on insolvency options and providing budgeting advice. They will ensure that income maximisation is carried out and refer to other in-house advisers or specialist agencies as appropriate.

They will be required to act for the client where necessary and communicate with third parties to progress a case.

Advice will be delivered through a variety of channels including face to face (drop-in and appointments), telephone or digital channels and must conform to the Citizens Advice Quality of Advice standards and funder requirements.

The post-holder will work to individual targets that must be met in order to contribute to team targets.

Purpose of the job

Uniting Staffordshire Against Hate provides information, advice, guidance and practical and emotional support to victims of hate crime and hate incidents to help them cope and recover from their experience and exercise their rights under the Victims Code.

The role of a Hate Crime Victim Care Coordinator is an exciting and diverse one. You will provide holistic and person-centred support to children, young people and adults across Staffordshire who have experienced hate crime or incidents due to their race, religion, disability, sexual orientation or transgender identity. You will help victims of hate come to terms with what has happened to them and provide practical and emotional support to reduce both the immediate and long-term impacts of hate.

You will work closely with other partners including the police, local authorities, housing providers and other support services to ensure that victims receive appropriate support and effective responses. You will also raise awareness of hate crime and the USAH service so that more victims are able to report hate crime and access specialist support.

As a Hate Crime Victim Care Coordinator, you will make a real difference to victims’ lives and will play an important role in tackling hate across Staffordshire.

At Purposeful, communications is political. It is how we amplify girls’ voices, sharpen feminist narratives, and push back against regressive agendas. The Communications Director will sit at the heart of this work - shaping and delivering a bold communications strategy aligned with Purposeful’s vision, mission, and growth.

This role leads the stewardship of Purposeful’s voice, visual identity, and storytelling practice, ensuring that everything we produce - whether op-eds, reports, campaigns, or digital content - carries our politics with clarity and conviction. The Communications Director will work closely with the Co-CEOs and across all Purposeful teams, including Advocacy, grant-making, Learning & Insights, Programmes, and Resource Mobilisation, to amplify girls’ organising, showcase our impact, and influence the broader philanthropic and activist ecosystem.

This is both a strategic and hands-on role, requiring a deep commitment to feminist movements, an instinct for storytelling as political practice, and a proven track record of positioning organisations on the global stage.

SCOPE OF WORK

1. Communications Strategy & Leadership

• Lead on delivery and implementation of a new communications strategy, building on 2025 planning foundations.

• Work closely with the Co-CEOs and director team to horizon scan and adapt strategy in response to organisational vision and external landscape.

• Provide leadership to a small team of staff and consultants (designers, digital specialists, artists) and work collaboratively with partner communications leads on joint campaigns and initiatives.

• Meticulously manage and forecast the communications and editorial budget, ensuring value for money and strong planning.

• Track and analyse content performance, using insights to refine reach and engagement.

2. Storytelling & Content Development

• Oversee the creation of compelling storytelling content that highlights Purposeful’s impact, amplifies girls’ and young feminists’ voices, and influences funders.

• Lead editorial planning and content workflows, balancing evergreen storytelling with crisis-response or time-sensitive outputs.

• Oversee production and capture of content from live and digital events (webinars, IG Lives, panels, etc.).

• Coordinate brand refresh projects, including a website refresh, and strengthen Purposeful’s digital visibility with a focus on graphic-led content across social platforms.

3. Writing & Editorial Oversight

• Review and edit all external content to ensure quality, editorial standard, and alignment with Purposeful’s voice and values.

• Write op-eds, blogs, social media posts, campaign messaging, press materials, and executive summaries.

• Collaborate with colleagues in Learning & Insights to integrate data into storytelling and publications.

• Edit and manage the production of publications and reports, commissioning artists and graphic designers as needed.

• Provide editorial oversight for media projects, including radio, film, and animation.

4. Media Engagement & Positioning

• Cultivate strong relationships with international, regional, and local media outlets.

• Proactively position Purposeful in global and regional conversations, ensuring girls’ and feminist movements’ voices are at the centre.

We are seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to take charge of all fiscal matters to enable the charities work to continue to flourish and grow.  The post holder will be a member of the Senior Management Team and be responsible to the CEO, therefore they will be expected to contribute to the development of the charity.

• Create and record monthly sale invoices to send to clients and customers and credit control
• Process supplier invoices
• Manage petty cash, credit cards and cash flow
• Undertake payroll, expenses and pensions
• Check monthly balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations,
• Prepare the annual financial budgets in conjunction with the Senior Management Team and CEO
• Prepare monthly accounts and reports comparing actual expenditure to budget for St James Centre and report any major variances to the CEO
• Prepare a summary financial report for Board Members (approximately 6 times per year)
• Work with the company auditors to support the preperation of he Annual Accounts

Person Specification:  You will need to have at least an AAT Level 4 qualification or a full or part qualified accountant ACCA/CIMA and a minimum of 3 years experience of managing finance in a medium sized Organisation. Excellent IT skills in Moneysoft, Sage, Excel and Word are needed. Knowledge of the Voluntary Sector is helpful. Willing to complete an enhanced DBS.
 

The job will be full time, which is 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday.  Flexible start and finish time are avilable, around the core hours of 10am to 4pm, but we do require you to work from our Centre in Derby.

The salary is £35,921 per annum.  We offer 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.

About the team 

Trusts and Foundations (T&F) is part of a High Value Partnerships team that sits within an Income Generation Directorate raising £30 million to support Shelter’s work. About £3 million of that is raised by the Trusts team. T&F is currently a team of nine: eight fundraisers – two in Scotland, one in Bristol and the rest in London, plus a Grant Manager supporting role. Half of the England-based team focus more on new business, while the other half manage and maximise our ongoing relationships.

About the roles 

You’ll help delivery our strategy by generating income from mid to high level trusts and foundations. Raising money for our core day-to-day activities, as well as for new projects, you’ll bring our income generation goals to life. You’ll work alongside a Senior Trusts and Foundations Manager and manage a personal portfolio of funders and projects, and you’ll be fully supported by an experienced fundraising team and senior managers in front line services.

The fixed-term role includes line management responsibility for the Trusts Executive, and is focused on maximising existing funder relationships. The permanent role has no line reports and is more focused on securing income from cold and new funders.

About you

Job Title: Service Manager

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Service Manager to lead on the delivery of high-quality services to the women and their children living in our refuges and survivors of domestic abuse supported by our community outreach service.

We are recruiting for Service Manager who is passionate about supporting survivors who are impacted by domestic abuse and other gender-based crimes.  This is a multifaceted, fast paced, and exciting role where you will join our team in Derby to lead on the delivery and development of high-quality refuge and outreach services for survivors of domestic abuse and other gender-based crimes.

Our service provision in Derby includes culturally specific service for South Asian women as well as a specialist multiple disadvantage support worker who support survivors facing enhanced needs.

The post holder will provide line management and support to the accommodation based and the outreach service staff. This will include providing supervision on complex and high-risk cases, overseeing operational emergencies, and ensuring high standards of casework. You will also ensure that all service users in refuges and the outreach service always receive a high-quality support service in line with Refuge’s policies and procedures.

The Service Manager will lead on the delivery of the multiagency aspect of work, working jointly with the Refuge teams and wider stakeholders to deliver best services to the survivors.

Candidates must have proven experience of providing direct emotional and practical support to vulnerable people, managing, and motivating staff, managing casework as well as working within multiagency setting.  In addition, you must have an excellent knowledge of domestic abuse and other gender-based violence and its impact on survivors.  

You will have knowledge of relevant criminal and civil law legislation, as well as Housing and Health and Safety legislation.   

As member of the management team, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call management service.

The service manager will be responsible for ensuring that contractual and other funding requirements are met fully, this includes ensuring that the services operate within the allocated budget and that Refuge’s high-quality standards are maintained. The role may involve visiting potential sites and contributing to the establishment of new services in conjunction with the development team.

The job involves working closely with staff that support survivors and their children who are experiencing domestic abuse and other gender-based violence.

You might have heard of us before if you're one of the 1.5 million+ who have attended one of our Christian holidays or missions over the years, or maybe you're one of the 40,000+ subscribers to have used our brilliant devotionals or been stirred by our exceptional bible resources. We've been at this for a fair few years... over 150 to be precise. Over this time, we’ve remained passionate about helping children and young people develop a vibrant faith in Jesus. As our name describes, the radical power of God's word has always been central to our approach.

We still do all the great stuff with resources and holidays, but in the last few years, we have sharpened our vision with a renewed focus to help the 95% of young people (primary and secondary school age) across the UK who have never stepped foot inside a church, to hear and respond to the good news of Jesus. In the last couple of years, we’ve trained up nearly 600 faith guides across 400+ churches all over the UK, collectively we’re seeing over 50,000 young people across the UK on a journey of exploring the christen faith and responding to an invitation to become followers of Jesus. We have 24 staff organised into four regional teams, and alongside our local and national partners, we’re playing our part in a network of organisations that seeks to reach children and young people in every context, across every town and city across the England and Wales. About your team 

You’ll be joining our brilliant South Region team, which covers our largest region from Kent to Cornwall, offering numerous opportunities to contribute your expertise in a variety of contexts, from urban and suburban to coastal and rural settings. You’ll have a brilliant time getting acquainted with this rich tapestry of local and national partners. Across the south region, we currently work with 130 churches and have 150 faith guides, we’d like to see these numbers grow significantly over the next few years. 

In the south region we have the highest density of Christian holidays and festivals, with events that we organise and run directly and a variety of festival and missions that we support and partner with. You’ll have a fantastic opportunity each summer to get hands on engaged in these mission and festivals throughout the year. 

Our South Region also includes our vibrant capital, one of the most multicultural and ethnically diverse cities in the world, with over 300 languages spoken. With many like-minded missional organisations having a footprint in and around the capital, and all of the Christian movements and denominations represented here, London holds key strategic value and will be the focus of your ministry activities. You’ll be joining an exceptional and growing team of five staff. We are particularly interested in how sports, arts, and culture can be explored to further enable the mission both in London and across SU and would be particularly interested in candidates with expertise in either of these areas.

The Operations Coordinator provides essential administrative, financial, and scheduling support across RAP’s international operations. This position is responsible for maintaining contract and vendor documentation, supporting finance and accounting workflows, processing data and invoices, coordinating executive calendars, and assisting with general systems administration, including IT-related tasks. Reporting to the Director, Operations, the coordinator will work closely with the Finance, Development, People, and Executive teams to ensure internal systems and processes run smoothly and efficiently. The role requires strong attention to detail, high reliability, and the ability to manage multiple operational tasks in a distributed, multicultural environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Contracts & Administrative Coordination

• Maintain and improve global contract databases for vendors, consultants, and partner organizations, ensuring templates, amendments, and signature processes are consistent and well-documented.
• Track deadlines, deliverables, and grants & contract renewal dates; flag follow-ups and support internal reviews.
• Assist with compliance documentation and liaise with legal or People Operations for contract-related questions.

Finance & Data Support

• Process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payment requests in coordination with the Accounting Manager.
• Support monthly reconciliations and internal tracking of budget codes, payment schedules, and audit trails.
• Enter and maintain clean, accurate data across RAP’s financial and operational platforms (e.g., Sage Intacct, Nexonia, Monday)

Scheduling & Executive Support

• Provide scheduling and administrative support to RAP’s Senior Leadership Team.
• Coordinate cross-time-zone meetings, recurring team check-ins, and board/committee calendar invites.
• Prepare agendas, take notes, and help ensure meetings are productive and well-structured.

General Operations & IT Liaison

• Assist with account creation, access issues, and user setup across platforms
• Partner with RAP’s IT vendor to triage tech issues, coordinate hardware/software purchases, and keep inventories updated. Support onboarding logistics, including device prep, new account setup, and tools orientation for new hires.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience in an administrative, finance, operations, or executive support role.
• Profiles with backgrounds in nonprofit operations, executive assistance, virtual assistance, or operations analysis are a strong fit.
• Fluent in English; fluency or professional working proficiency in other global languages, particularly in French, highly valued.
• Familiarity with collaborative tools and systems such as Microsoft Office, SAGE Intacct, SharePoint, Monday, or similar. Experience managing scheduling or contracts workflows, especially across international time zones. The Human Resources Assistant is a vital cross-functional role at the intersection of HR, finance and administration. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Recruitment & Hiring Support

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews and candidate communication.
