As Day Centre Manager, you’ll lead a flagship service at the frontline of London’s homelessness response – a hub visited by hundreds each month. You’ll shape how we welcome, assess, and connect people to life-changing support, while driving service improvements that influence best practice across the sector.

About the role

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team– line-manage a Coordinator, Support Worker, volunteers and peer mentors; set clear rotas, coach great practice and keep morale high.
• Oversee the welcome & triage desk – make sure every visitor is greeted, assessed and signposted to the right help without delay.
• Keep the building safe and calm – partner with our on-site hostel, manage incidents professionally and ensure health-and-safety checks never slip.
• Build strong partnerships – schedule outreach agencies, host funder visits and champion the Service User Forum so lived experience drives change.
• Embed a culture of continuous improvement - using data and client feedback to refine services.

The role
You’ll play a key role in delivering digital activity across social media, PPC, email, and web. From creating engaging content to reporting on campaign performance, you’ll ensure the charity’s digital presence is dynamic, consistent, and impactful.

• Manage day-to-day social media across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X)

The role is a Finance Assistant on an interim basis. The duration is expected to be 3-6 months.
Duties will include:

• Invoice processing and approval
• Matching purchase orders and verifying correct approvals before payment
• Processing multi-currency invoices through the accounting system
• Processing expenses for employees in line with company policies
• Request and facilitate changes to delegated authorities or line management within the expenses system as necessary
• Preparing and processing weekly payment batches via BACS

A leading international policy institute is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join its finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) to play a pivotal role in supporting world-class research that shapes debate and drives solutions to global challenges.

About the role
As Finance Business Partner, you will provide strategic financial insight and support to one of the organisation’s flagship research centres. The centre delivers thought leadership on the intersection of environment, society, and international affairs – working with governments, business and civil society to influence policy and accelerate sustainable change.

Embedded within the research centre but working closely with the wider finance team, you will take the lead on budgeting, forecasting and management reporting, ensuring resources are aligned with strategic priorities. You will also oversee complex grant- and contract-funded projects, helping to ensure that funding is used effectively and reported transparently to international partners and donors.

This role offers the opportunity to shape how financial insight supports high-impact research, strengthen the link between finance and programme delivery, and contribute to a major organisational transformation, including the introduction of a new finance system.

Key priorities in your first six months

Global Advocacy Lead (Maternity Cover)

Depaul International oversees a group of leading homelessness charities working around the world to end homelessness. Depaul International is seeking a confident and strategic Global Advocacy Lead to champion our international advocacy work and strengthen the global response to homelessness.

About the Role

This leadership role will focus on driving forward Depaul International’s global advocacy strategy during a period of maternity cover. Homelessness is a growing international challenge, yet lacks a unified global response. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our advocacy strategy continues to progress, positioning Depaul as a trusted partner and expert voice.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the delivery of our global advocacy strategy in line with the Depaul Group Strategy
• Building and managing strategic relationships with international stakeholders such as the UN, EU, multilateral banks and global NGO networks

• Supporting national members to strengthen their advocacy capacity and share best practice

About the role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time Casework Administrator to join the Scottish Regional Office team at SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.

You will be responsible for providing specialist administrative support and undertaking virtual telephone casework across the whole of Scotland, working remotely with SSAFA branch volunteers and Regional Office colleagues to ensure a consistent, timely, quality service is provided to SSAFA beneficiaries.

To help you establish yourself in this new post you will receive excellent training and induction to the Scottish Regional Office. You will work closely with the Regional Casework Managers and the Regional Manager.

The post is home-based and lone working with support from your line manager and team colleagues and you must have a fast, stable broadband connection in your proposed workspace. You may have to travel occasionally around Scotland or elsewhere in the UK; expenses will be paid.

About the team

In this role you will be working closely with volunteers from seventeen SSAFA branches across Scotland, supporting them to administer casework for SSAFA beneficiaries. The successful candidate will work as part of a larger team which includes 2 Casework Managers and a Regional Manager and a team of Regional Casework Co-ordinators.

About you

To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of providing excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail and face to face. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. The successful candidate will have experience of using their own initiative, planning and managing their workload with minimal supervision. You should be experienced at writing descriptive reports following a recommended structure. This role requires you to be a resilient person and it would be advantageous if you understand the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families. An understanding of the voluntary sector and preferably the military charity sector landscape across Scotland would be valuable, but not essential.
