To help us with this important mission, we currently have vacancies for Delivery Officers. As a Delivery Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of capital projects across a defined region – including 3G pitches, pavilions, grass pitch improvements, PlayZones and more. You’ll work closely with applicants and colleagues across the Foundation to help turn project ideas into reality, from early pipeline stages to pre-award. 

You’ll provide first-line support to applicants, coordinate project records, and contribute to grant assessments – ensuring each project meets our standards and supports our strategic aims. What are we looking for? 

We’re looking for someone with hands-on experience supporting or delivering capital projects, grants, or community programmes—ideally within a grassroots sport or community setting. You’ll have a solid understanding of the challenges faced by local clubs and organisations, and a passion for helping them succeed. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to produce clear, concise reports to support decision-making. You’ll be confident using Microsoft 365 tools and managing project records digitally. We’re also looking for someone who can effectively plan and prioritise a busy and varied workload, and who thrives in a collaborative team environment while building positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

What can we offer you? 

The salary band for this role is £32,000 - £34,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience. 

You will start with 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (which increases after 2 years), plus additional time off to volunteer. What you'll be doing:

• Experience of financial compliance including demonstrable experience of actively setting and managing budgets, preparing cashflow projections and working with financial reports – this experience is likely to have been gained over at least 3 years’ active, first-hand participation.
• Prior experience of working in a growth environment, ideally having gained involvement in income generation/fundraising.
• Experience working with external funders, partners, and collaborators
• Demonstrate clear understanding of Charity Code and governance obligations including Charity Commission requirements and charity law.

Role Purpose

The Operations Director is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective running of all operational aspects of Katherine Low Settlement. Role purpose:

Retain and grow existing centre relationships

We are looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic individual to support the management of our special purpose funds (SPFs). These funds contain charitable donations for services across Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, and can be used to support projects that benefit patients and staff, over and above what the NHS could normally provide.

In this role you will be responsible for handling the administration of our special purpose fund operations and processes. This will include the management of special purpose fund claims, a dedicated email inbox, invoice processing, engagement with NHS staff who oversee these funds (known as fund advisers) and other ad hoc administrative tasks.

The Gender & Peacebuilding Adviser will work within Gender Team and Policy and Advocacy Team to deliver Saferworld’s gender, peace and security (GPS) and gender equality strategy with a focus on ensuring strong links between organisational programmes, research, comms and GPS advocacy at all levels. They will provide technical support in the following areas:

• In close coordination with the Senior Gender Adviser and the Global Policy and Advocacy team lead on the development of GPS advocacy strategies and tools that can be used to effectively influence change beyond direct programmatic impact.
• Advise on producing and disseminating research and analysis and supporting programme and policy teams to produce, disseminate and implement this analysis within a gender-transformative approach.
• Support gender-focused advocacy and communications efforts at sub-national, national, regional and international levels, with a focus on ensuring local and national learning and analysis to feed into and shape international GPS research, policy and advocacy priorities
•  Connect programmatic issues and global policy, advocacy and communications on GPS to ensure they are complementary and conducive to external change based on evidence from the ground; the post-holder will lead an organisational vision and process to ensure advocates across Saferworld work together to increase our collective impact and contribute to collective learning on GPS, in close coordination with the Global Policy and Advocacy Team (GPA).
• Provide advice and support for the implementation of Saferworld’s Gender Equality Strategy in programmes across the organisation, working with country teams and with gender coordinators, advisors and focal points. Provide capacity-strengthening initiatives and coordinate Gender Reference Group meetings, brown bags, and information exchange sessions to facilitate internal knowledge sharing.
