We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior .NET Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our websites, CharityJob and Charity Connect. As an integral part of our team you will work very closely with us through daily standups, sprint planning meetings, and many discussions on Teams video calls to ensure the successful delivery of our projects. You will also collaborate closely with our product and QA teams to ensure the highest quality of our deliverables.

We’re seeking a developer with strong .NET and Azure expertise, along with solid front-end skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and ReactJS.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain features for Charityjob using .NET 9 and SQL Server.
• Work with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure SQL, Blob Storage, and Azure Cognitive Search.
• Collaborate daily via Microsoft Teams with Product Managers, QA, and fellow developers.
• Participate fully in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and occasionally ReactJS.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code with an emphasis on performance and scalability.
• Offer technical input on architecture and best practices, and support less experienced developers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in .NET web development (ideally .NET Core / .NET 8 or 9).
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and experience designing relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (SQL, Storage, Search, etc.).
• Front-end development skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ReactJS.
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Experience working in a Scrum/Agile setting.

Desirable

• Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and practices.
• Prior experience working on high-traffic websites or job boards.

The Clean Air Fund is looking to recruit a Senior Specialist- Super Pollutants and Health to join the team in London, Delhi or Accra. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing organisation whose mission is to use philanthropic grants to catalyse a reduction in air pollution in a newly created role.   

In this role you will help to deliver the Clean Air Fund’s mission through high quality strategic and operational support to the Super Pollutant team’s strategy, research and other core work areas – especially focusing on the impact of super pollutants on health. This includes the design, management, monitoring and evaluation of philanthropic initiatives and programmes, project and grant management, as well as the design and management of partnerships, policy and communication efforts. As a Senior Specialist in Super Pollutants and Health will contribute to the development and project management of a new part of the programme on the health impacts of super pollutants. Tasks will include support of design, management, delivery and review of projects and philanthropic initiatives in this portfolio. You will also support key strategic partnerships, campaigns and policy efforts to support our efforts to move black carbon up the global climate agenda.

We are excited at the potential to bring our heritage to life through our Heritage Fund project 'St Richard's 60:60 - celebrating our first 60 years and preparing for the next'. The National Lottery Heritage Fund have awarded us £248,000 to develop a £3.5m project which will restore our iconic Modern church and celebrate it's first 60 years as a launchpad for the future.  Our goal is to give our Grade II church a secure and sustainable future as a home for a thriving church and a welcoming flexible space for community groups and activities. 

St Richard's Church was opened in 1966 in the heart of a new housing estate alongside a new Primary School, with which it has a strong and supportive working relationship. It is a striking and flexible building with a strong local presence.  It has significant architectural and artisic features and the hyberbolic paraboloid roofs are amongst the few remaining examples in the country. However the roof covering is failing and the timber roof shells are deteriorating rapidly, leading to it being placed on the Heritage at Risk Register in 2025. Our Heritage Fund project will repair and restore the building and provide engagement opportunities bringing its heritage to life while meeting community needs. 

The Community Engagement and Activity Plan Consultant will:

• provide expert advice on the development of the Activity Plan and Activity Action Plan, drawing on comparator projects and following The National Lottery Heritage Fund guidelines and Heritage 2033 Strategy.
• draw up and deliver a consultation programme with the Project Steering Group, building on the work already undertaken and plan and lead pilot heritage activities during the development phase
• develop relationships with existing and potential stakeholders connected with the development and delivery of the Activity Plan.

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to own the transition to a new, user-centred Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, Bynder, at a pivotal moment in our modernisation journey.

Working with the Senior Product Manager for Brand Systems, you'll ensure Bynder evolves to meet user and organisational needs, acting as our central hub for visual brand assets. You'll support data migration, contribute to metadata and tagging strategies, and help improve our current processes to strengthen the Brand & Marketing team's vision and responsibilities.

You'll work closely with our communications teams, as well as colleagues across the organisation in frontline science, membership and fundraising roles. You'll also manage and support relationships with creative and strategic partners to make sure our systems deliver imagery that reflects the breadth of our conservation work and the diversity of the communities we represent for nature.

This is a new role with the opportunity to shape how we look after one of our most important resources, our brand visual identity, and to help colleagues across the organisation make the most of it.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the day-to-day product owner for Bynder, configuring permissions and workflows.
• Maintain a simple backlog of user feedback and system developments, prioritising improvements in line with brand and organisational goals.
• Support the configuration and ongoing optimisation of Bynder to meet internal user needs across brand, marketing and communications teams, as well as the wider organisation and creative and commercial partners.

Job Summary
 
When someone goes missing, Missing People provides help to families, friends and professional carers who wish to publicise their appeal. This can be through the charity’s website resources, appeals and opportunities for publicity in the media.
 
You will support families, friends and professional carers to make appeals when someone has officially been reported as missing. The role will involve communicating in a timely, compassionate and knowledgeable manner with people experiencing the trauma of missing someone and managing families’ initial expectations of the service. You will assess the most appropriate activities to safeguard and reconnect the missing person and be responsible for police liaison and updates. You will assess with families the use of public display publicity which may begin after 3 days and help families to understand what they can do themselves. You will work closely with the Communications team, providing them with accurate and timely information if publicity is the appropriate choice. You will also access and process 'Urgent missing’ requests and work with the Communications team to make the alert happen.
 
You will understand the needs of longer-term families who still want to publicise their missing person, and you will advocate on their behalf to help make sure their voice is heard.
You will work collaboratively with specialists in Family Support, Publicity, Helpline and Fundraising & Communications teams to support the families and missing people we are here to help.
 
Key Accountabilities:
 
Service delivery
• Assess and process incoming requests from, family members, friends and professional carers and agree the most suitable support and publicity actions. Manage requests with high standards of accuracy, risk and criteria management, data management, and confidentiality;
• Risk assess all contacts to ensure any safeguarding issues in relation to the missing person or their family members are dealt with effectively. Participate in safeguarding decision making and implement safeguarding procedures.

We’re looking to grow our delivery team with a brand new role that is responsible for processing the referrals we receive for the Settle Programme as well as holding assessment meetings as and when necessary. The successful candidate will also be a Senior Settle Coach holding a reduced caseload and using their frontline skills to work one-to-one with care-experienced young people across London.

For this role, we anticipate that you will spend 50-60% of your time processing and responding to referrals, including taking further steps to assess the needs of the young person who has been referred. To do this you’ll work closely with our Programme Management team, Business Development team and referral partners to ensure that we have all the necessary information to deal safely and appropriately with referrals. As this is a new role to the organisation, there will be scope to shape and influence the way this work is managed alongside your manager and our Chief Operating Officer.

We then anticipate you will spend the remaining 40-50% of your time as a Senior Settle Coach, working on the frontline, delivering one-to-one sessions with care-experienced young people across London. You’ll work closely with our partners to ensure the smooth delivery of our contracts and with the Programme Management team and Senior Partnerships Manager to support reporting on outcomes and regular partnership meetings.

You will report into a manager within the Programme Management team.

Candidates with experience of assessing and managing risk are encouraged to apply. Job Purpose:

This role sits within Family for Every Child’s (Family) Sustainability team, providing comprehensive support for all aspects of financial management.  The Finance Officer will work closely with the Secretariat, providing a central support function for the Sustainability, Impact, and Innovation teams.  This role will support the International Finance Manager (IFM) in building an internal finance function and will work with Family’s outsourced financial service provider in the UK to transition support in-house, ensuring efficient income and expenditure processing, reconciliation and reporting.

This role includes study support to become a qualified accountant (ACCA) with the potential for role development linked to successful exam progression. Family offers a study leave policy of 10 days over a rolling 12 month period (pro rata for part time staff).

Scope and Limits of Authority:

The post holder is expected to organise their own day-to-day activities according to the overall priorities and timescales set, and to exercise sound judgement in many critical decision-making areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance administration

• Principal point of contact for staff and suppliers (purchasing, expenses and payments).

• Managing and organising the finance inbox, ensuring queries are answered in a timely manner and ensuring good supplier relations are maintained.

• Processing all invoices and expenses onto the accounting system, ensuring correct coding and allocation of costs.

• Preparation of domestic and international payment runs, ensuring international payments are compliant with local requirements and following up on any issues.

• Working closely with the Programme Officer to track the status of grants and ensure outgoing payments are received.

• Managing the prepaid cash cards and monthly sign off of spend, supporting staff with purchases and expenses, checking and updating expense claims prior to processing of payment.

• Bank reconciliations, monitoring bank activity, ensuring invoices/expenses paid by direct debit are processed and approved as required, maintaining supplier details up to date.

• Preparation of monthly journal entries for review and approval by the IFM.

• Acting as the main point of contact for staff to provide guidance on all operational financial policies and procedures.

• Leading on continuous improvement to operational finance processes, including the use of AI technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Payroll

• Preparation of monthly UK payroll.  Working closely with the HR Officer to ensure all adjustments are processed.

• Preparation of monthly UK pension submissions within the required deadline.

• Processing all pension changes, including auto-enrolment and adjustments to contributions.

• Preparation of monthly payroll allocation journals for review and approval by the IFM.

Financial budgeting and reporting

• Supporting and coordinating the budgeting process with the International Finance Manager and budget holders, updating the budget templates and checking the draft budget for accuracy and completeness.

• Supporting the production of monthly and quarterly financial reports and cash flows, reviewing trial balances prior to accounts consolidation, carrying out income reconciliation  review by the International Finance Manager, and completing sample checks of the financial reports.

• Supporting the preparation of the accounts for the annual audit and financial report

• Supporting the Impact team by reviewing project budgets, re-forecasts and financial reports prepared by members

Income processing and reporting

• Carrying out the income reconciliation between the Bank and Salesforce, working with the Database Officer and Analytics & Process Officer to ensure the necessary adjustments to the database are made.

• Ensuring income recognition is in line with accounting standards and preparing and uploading draft journals for recognition of income to Xero.

• Preparing and completing HMRC Gift Aid submission files, monitoring the Gift Aid debtor balance and receipts from HMRC

• Assisting the IG Finance Manager in administering and reporting on legacy income 

• Carrying out financial analysis and reports as needed for donor reporting, forecasting and financial modeling.

Cross Cover support

• HR:  Managing the monthly payroll process with the outsourced provider including provision of data, and checking reports and calculations, for UK payroll and all international payrolls

• HR: Maintaining day to day liaison with line managers and any outsourced payroll and employment providers (EOR).

• Fundraising:  Assisting the Supporter Care team with income processing, including regular payment processes

• Impact:  Assisting the Programme Officer with purchase orders and grant management as needed to cover periods of leave and heavier workloads (i.e. during events, etc…)
