This role is full-time to on a temporary contract. The role is based at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital along with some working from the Victim Support office in Old Street and some home working.

About the Role

As an Independent Domestic & Sexual Violence Advocate you will provide pro-active, high quality, frontline service to victims of domestic and sexual abuse through on-going risk assessment, providing individual safety planning, trauma-informed support, guidance, information, and advocacy and enabling victim/survivors to access the services they need in the aftermath of the abuse and trauma they have experienced.

You will work within a hospital setting to support both patients and staff. You will make initial contact with victims of domestic and sexual abuse, explaining our services and assessing the impact of crime, or receive referrals from colleagues, in order to provide on-going support and case management. Support could include empowering the client to report to the police, accessing Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) services, and specialist support such as pretrial therapy and sexual violence counselling.

Key Responsibilities:

Purpose of This Role:

This is a key role within NASP’s Operations team, leading on financial processes and procedures across the organisation. The Finance Manager will develop and maintain accurate and consistent records, provide regular reporting to support budgeting & forecasting, support on the annual audit, and ensure regulatory compliance & best practice across all of NASP’s work.

The role will work closely with the CEO, Director of Operations, and the Operations Coordinator (Finance & HR); as well as our outsourced accounting service provider (Carpenter Box). In addition, the role will support colleagues and teams more widely by costing funding bids for income generation, grant reporting, project accounting, and providing general financial expertise and guidance.

The Finance Manager will also support in preparing projections and updates for NASP’s Board of Trustees, working with the CEO, DoO, and Chair of the Finance, Audit, Investment & Risk Subcommittee (FAIRCo); this will include deputising for the Director of Operations on finance-related matters where appropriate.

Person Specification:
Experience & Knowledge:

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CIPFA) or equivalent
• Knowledge of the VCFSE sector and/or Social Prescribing
• Experience of working within an accounts/finance role within a small to medium charity or the not-for-profit sector
• Up-to-date knowledge of the Charity Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP)
• Good understanding of compliance and regulatory standards
• Experience supporting preparation of statutory accounts
• Experience supporting income generation (e.g. funding applications) (desirable)

Skills & Attributes:

• Affinity with NASP’s Values as defined in the NASP Strategic Plan

Responsibilities:
Financial Management

• Review monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate coding and reporting, working with budget holders and reporting any adjustments to Carpenter Box
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting, including scenario planning and going concern forecasts
• Manage accounts receivable/payable; follow up on unpaid invoices/outstanding payments, ensuring these are escalated as necessary
• Regular review of processes and procedures, ensuring robustness and efficiency at all levels
• Support Carpenter Box with quarterly VAT and Gift Aid returns as necessary
• Support Carpenter Box with year end annual account preparation
• Oversee provision of appropriate accounting and finance software (Xero, Soldo, ApprovalMax)
• Deputise for Director of Operations where necessary, e.g. payroll or providing updates to NASP’s Board of Trustees

Governance, Compliance, & Board Support

• Provide oversight for financial processes across NASP, ensuring compliance with both NASP’s policy suite and any regulatory requirements
• Support on process for annual audit and NASP’s annual report, providing relevant documents to auditors, answering queries, ensuring timelines are met
• Advising the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) on any relevant updates to legislation or regulatory requirements
• Provide relevant reports and updates to NASP’s Board of Trustees and Finance Subcommittee, attending meetings where appropriate

Wider Organisational Support

• Work with Fundraising Consultant and colleagues as required to support on income generation, such as providing costings for bids; and mantaining accurate records on bids currently in progress and expected income
• Supporting on financial reporting for grants, such as providing I&E statements or other information as required
• Work with budget holders to set budgets, forecast, and monitor to ensure robust management and accurate reporting of overspend or underspend

The Deputy Director Talent, Development and Inclusion will lead the development and delivery of all people development, ED&I, inclusive recruitment, and career development initiatives across the National Theatre. What you'll do:
Behaviour Analysis:
- You are liable to observing and monitoring the customer's behaviours, the duration, the intensity, and the damage, as well as factors that may alleviate or trigger the behaviour
- You understand and collaborate with the different support organizations accessible in the community

The Support Officer’s key objective is to enable Mermaids to deliver exceptional, high-quality services by providing effective operational, administrative and coordination support. About the role

We’re looking for a Virtual Fundraising Senior Officer with event management skills to join our brilliant Mass Participation team.

Our ambitious virtual fundraising team recruits over 11,500 virtual fundraisers every year and this role will play a key role in delivering an unforgettable experience to these supporters. You'll be responsible for the delivery and growth of multiple virtual fundraising challenges, ensuring exceptional multichannel stewardship is delivered while driving ambitious participation and income targets. 

Your focus will be to project manager the larger virtual events in our portfolio while taking a data- driven approach to analyse performance, optimise processes and identify opportunities for innovation. We promote a test and learn environment where innovation is highly valued as the virtual market continuously evolves. 

Time management and use of initiative are key skills for this role. As we enter a busy events season, you'll need to be able to manage your own workload, prioritise tasks and be proactive. The Role

The Blagrave Trust is looking to appoint a Head of Finance, who will play a critical leadership role in helping us reimagine how resources can be stewarded in creative and values led ways that advance social justice for young people. The role is offered as a permanent contract, hybrid, with one day in our office in London, Birmingham or Portsmouth per week.

Who We Are

The Blagrave Trust holds around £40m in investments, which, alongside other income, funds our work and grant making. We are ambitious about putting our full asset base to work for our mission, championing transparency in stewardship and inviting learning and input from our communities. As we enter our next chapter, the Head of Finance will be instrumental in embedding mission first finance across strategy, governance and practice.

Key Responsibilities

As the Trust’s senior finance professional and a key member of the leadership team, you will set and deliver the financial strategy, ensure robust controls and compliance, and translate financial insight into mission driven decisions.

• You will have oversight of both the investment and property portfolios and be tasked with ensuring all our assets are unified towards delivering the most impact for young people and future generations.
• You will take our learning and understanding externally, to values aligned finance forums, peer networks and into the conversation around shifting power to best serve missions.
• To support this endeavour, on the day-to-day you’ll lead planning, budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning and cash flow, oversee statutory accounts and audit (UK Charity SORP), and provide clear reporting to the Board and Finance & Investment Committee.

Person Specification

We’re looking for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with substantial senior level experience, ideally in a foundation, charity or mission driven organisation.

The Head of Development and Communications plays a pivotal role in driving In2scienceUK’s mission to change lives by opening doors to STEM degrees and careers for young people from lower socio-economic backgrounds. 

As a senior leader, you will shape and deliver a bold, integrated development and communications strategy that brings our mission to life, tells powerful stories of change, and inspires confidence and commitment from donors, partners, and key stakeholders that unlocks new opportunities for innovation and expansion.

In this role, you will manage a small, high-performing team and oversee the creation of compelling narratives and effective engagement strategies that inspire donors, partners, alumni, and key stakeholders, supporting a resilient and diversified income portfolio.

Working closely with programme teams, you will ensure that development and communications activity amplifies the impact of existing programmes, while identifying and developing new opportunities that deliver meaningful outcomes for young people across the UK.

You will drive the development of strategic partnerships and funding relationships to expand the reach and influence of In2science’s work. Responsibilities 

Development

• To collaborate with the senior leadership team and trustees in setting organisational strategy and building strategic partnerships to support In2science’s vision for 2026 and beyond.

• Lead on planning, implementation and delivery of segmented fundraising and stewardship campaigns across programmes and audiences with a 2026 income target of £1.5m. 

• Lead and manage a diverse fundraising portfolio, including corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, research grants (e.g., UKRI), government funding, and individual giving.

• To lead a small but effective development team, including an external fundraising contractor to build upon our success to date to achieve funding targets and foster strategic relationships with funding and delivery partners.

• Budget and resource all aspects of development and communications, including engaging with external contractors to maximise our output and upskill our teams.

• Work closely with the Head of Operations to oversee our CRM, ensuring accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting, as well as utilising the system for tailored stewardship opportunities.

• Work closely with our programmes team to ensure that deliverables are met and in line with our mission and objectives.

• Explore opportunities for partnership to launch new programmes and initiatives, working with the Data and Impact manager to use national data to ensure we deliver the greatest possible impact to those most in need.

Communications

• Oversee the organisation’s external communications, ensuring all messaging is on-brand, reflects our values, meets high standards, and effectively tells the story of our impact on young people.

• Oversee resourcing of the communications function, balancing 70% development and brand engagement with 30% programme-focused activity.

• Identify opportunities to maximise brand presence through strategic partnerships, policy engagement, and media activity.

• Work closely with the SMT and Trustees to respond to media, speaking, and event requests, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging.

• Ensure digital and web platforms effectively showcase our impact and support compelling storytelling.

• Manage the Senior Communications Officer to deliver campaigns that drive organisational growth and engagement with donors, partners, volunteers, and beneficiaries.

Governance

• To work with the SMT, CEO, and Trustees to ensure strong charity governance, including leading the Growth Subcommittee and preparing reports for quarterly board meetings.

• Identify organisation-wide opportunities to streamline and improve performance across the organisation.

• Working with SMT and trustees to ensure charity compliance. Including the charity commission, funding regulator, ICO.

• Identify and manage organisational/operational risk and ensure that all measures are in place to mitigate this.

Essential:

• A passionate advocate for social mobility in STEM.
