We deliver the 24/7 National Gambling Helpline, treatment services, prevention programmes and targeted community support across Great Britain. This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You will manage the full tender process, from identifying and qualifying opportunities through to submission, review and mobilisation support. Working with senior leaders, service teams, Finance, Data, Marketing and external partners, you will write and coordinate persuasive, compliant bids, develop clear win themes, and turn complex service models and evidence into compelling funder-focused narratives.
We are looking for an experienced bid or tender professional who can help GamCare compete confidently in a statutory commissioning environment, with a strong track record of writing and managing successful public-sector submissions. You will bring excellent writing and editing skills, strong project management, confidence working with internal experts and external partners, and a good understanding of public procurement. Experience of statutory tenders, NHS or Local Authority commissioning, health or social care, public-sector frameworks, social value, financial modelling or gambling harms would be helpful.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a strategic and developing ministry amongst Young Adults. YouShape is a year-long journey for young adults aged 18-30, based in a local hub, building friendships, exploring Christian practices and sharing in retreats, residentials, pilgrimage and adventure!
You will work within a supportive, enthusiastic team and will have significant scope to shape your work and how YouShape grows as you implement the Diocesan strategy for ministry amongst Young Adults within the Discipleship and Social Justice Team.
You will support local hubs and develop future hubs in collaboration with Area Teams, Area Deans and the Board of Reference.

Project Ecologist – Species Recovery

This exciting new role is a part of the Natural England Species Recovery Programme. The “Wild Again: Restoring England’s Wildlife” initiative aims to enhance threatened species populations across the UK. Somerset Wildlife Trust are excited to lead the Bolstering the Somerset Bittern (Botaurus stellaris) population project.

About You and the Role
The Project Ecologist will be responsible for delivering habitat and bittern species surveys across the Somerset Levels and Moors project area. This will include assessing a range of reedbed and wetland mosaic types to assess suitability for bittern, as well as engaging and advising landowners on habitat enhancement.
Supported by Somerset Wildlife Trust staff, landowner engagement will involve the identification of improvement works funded by the project. The survey work will be completed with the support of a new, dedicated volunteer group led by the Species Recovery Project Ecologist.

Barnardo's is looking for a Data Analyst with strong Power BI skills and a passion for the charity sector to join our Analytics team within Digital, Data and Technology on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract, commencing in September.
The Analytics team is a central function that provides insight, information and data to colleagues across the charity.
