About the Schools Consent Project

The Schools Consent Project is a charity that sends lawyers into schools to teach 11–18-year-olds aboutconsent and key sexual offences. Education is prevention: by introducing consent-literacy in classrooms, youngpeople grow up making more informed, ethical decisions and are less likely to experience – or perpetrate –sexual violence in later life.

As we continue to scale, we are seeking an ambitious and proactive Fundraising & Partnerships Manager to helpsecure the resources and relationships that will enable us to reach more young people across the UK.

Role Summary

Reporting to the Founder, the Fundraising & Partnerships Manager will lead the charity’s fundraising andpartnership development activity across a range of income streams, including trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, major donors and individual giving.

This is a hands-on role with significant autonomy. As the charity’s sole designated fundraising professional, youwill work closely with the Founder, who remains actively involved in fundraising, strategic relationships andexternal engagement.

Role Summary

The Outreach Manager is responsible for driving the expansion of the Schools Consent Project’s reach, engagement, and impact across London and the South East. Acting as the organisation’s lead “sales” and business development professional, you will contribute to and manage our strong pipeline of partner schools and organisations, convert leads into confirmed bookings, and maximise long-term engagement.
You will own the end-to-end outreach and partnership journey: from prospecting and lead generation, through relationship development and negotiation, to repeat engagement and retention.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The People and Culture (P&C) Director works in a highly matrixed environment with staff from several functions across the global organisation. The postholder manages the HR team in IRC UK and is accountable for effective HR service delivery, HR compliance and continuous improvement within the scope of the People & Culture department, localising the IRC’s global people strategy. This position plays a pivotal role in fostering a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture that aligns with IRC’s values, through exceptional communication skills.

The role jointly reports into the UK Executive Director and Regional Director, P&C Europe – with additional reporting accountabilities to the UK Board’s People and Culture Committee. Working within global frameworks set by Global People & Culture, the role localises the implementation of People & Culture priorities and drives UK-specific change initiatives within IRC UK’s culture and regulatory environment.

As a member of the UK Senior Management Team (SMT), the role is jointly accountable for the delivery of IRC UK’s Strategic Plan, and has responsibility for the effective delivery of P&C priorities. The Director has a keen focus on building leadership competencies and organisational effectiveness.

Success in this role requires the ability to build strong relationships, influence decisions, and navigate multiple stakeholder perspectives to deliver effective people solutions within a matrix environment where accountability is shared.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. P&C Leadership (Advisory, Implementation, and Partnering) (25%)

• As a member of the UK Senior Management Team, assume collective accountability for the effective delivery of IRC UK’s Strategic Plan.

• Serve as an advisor and thought partner to the Executive Director and fellow SMT members on the UK application of IRC’s Global P&C strategy, and lead on strengthening IRC UK’s kind, inclusive and high-performing organisational culture.

• Support talent dialogues, performance conversations, and career development planning for IRC UK staff, embedding a culture of continuous learning.

• Partner with peers on workforce planning — including managing workforce adjustments such as staff reductions or scale-up, and organisational design work — in partnership with senior management, the Regional Director P&C Europe, and Global P&C Partners, ensuring compliance with local and global policy while minimising risk and supporting affected staff.

• Translate data and metrics into actionable items in line with IRC UK’s strategy.

2. Manage HR Service Delivery and Core Operations (~40%)

• Manage end-to-end HR service delivery across the employee lifecycle; recruitment, onboarding, contracts, payroll coordination, benefits, performance and leave management, offboarding, and HR information systems, maintaining high-quality, context-specific P&C practices aligned with organisational standards.

• Provide leadership on UK employment law and regulation to the UK HR team, ensuring the HR team supports supervisors of UK staff in the management of their teams in a supportive and compliant way.

• Provide high quality HR partnership to the Refugee, Asylum and Integration (RAI) UK Director and team to support programme needs and donor requirements.

• Advise supervisors on appropriate disciplinary actions, coordinating with Global Employee Relations and Legal on complex or escalated disciplinary proceedings, to ensure fairness and compliance with employment law.

• Responsible for P&C reporting for the UK Board of Trustees and People & Culture Committee, and for the annual production of IRC UK's Gender Pay Gap and Ethnicity Pay Gap reports, in line with IRC's global P&C reporting standards and applicable UK statutory requirements.

• Support any organisational restructure requirements, including active management of any necessary staff consultation and resulting redundancy processes, by providing expert guidance to management and affected staff throughout the process.

• Track UK P&C objectives set by Global P&C and contribute HR input - organisational structure, position scoping, staffing analysis - to proposal design and grant review processes.

• Lead the delivery of regular staff engagement surveys, analysing data and proposing leadership actions in response.

3. Workplace Culture (~15%)

THE ROLE – Lead delivery, develop people and stay close to practice

As a Weekenders Programme Manager, you will turn our ambition into consistently excellent delivery. You will lead the day-to-day support of applicants across an agreed portfolio of areas, making sure prospective Weekenders receive a warm, responsive and motivational experience and that our partners can rely on us to deliver what we have agreed.

This is a people-management and delivery role with a strong connection to practice. You will line-manage Journey Guides, manage a network of independent social workers (ISWs), lead our prep group training and undertake some intro chats yourself.

The role does not carry a statutory caseload. It does carry real responsibility for safeguarding, practice quality, operational oversight and relationships across a growing, geographically distributed programme.

Delivery Leadership: Lead programme delivery

• Take day-to-day responsibility for Weekenders delivery across an agreed portfolio of Fostering Hubs and local authority partners.

• Turn partnership agreements and local processes into clear applicant journeys, with roles, handovers and timescales understood by everyone involved.

To undertake bookkeeping, monthly management reporting, financial reporting, work with the external auditors during their annual review and assist with the design/implementation of internal controls within the finance department. The exact tasks will vary and flexibility is key, but will include the following:

• Assist the trustee treasurer and region manager by preparing financial documents and other information as required for trustee, finance group, steering group and operations group meetings.
• Assist with the preparation of the annual budget. Undertake a forecast, assist budget holders, interrogate data, report and offer advice on results.
• Prepare timely and accurate quarterly management accounts, complete with analysis both qualitative and quantitative.

• Review, assess and (where appropriate) process grant applications from members and units in Girlguiding London and South East England.
• Ensure that designated and restricted funds are accurately accounted for.
• Maintain knowledge of current Girlguiding policies, resources and initiatives, and communicate in line with Girlguiding branding and tone of voice guidelines.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality, storing and handling data and images in line with GDPR regulations, as well as Girlguiding and Girlguiding London and South East England data protection policies.
• Take initiative and work efficiently on your own and as part of the team to ensure that Girlguiding London and South East England's strategic priorities and relevant areas of the business plan are delivered on time.
•  IT skills – you will need to apply your up-to-date knowledge and experience of using Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams. As part of this role, you are also likely to need to use Zoom, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Soldo, and the Girlguiding CRM database.
• The role may also require you to identify grant opportunities and/or alternative income streams.
• Carry out other duties not detailed above, as directed by the region manager.

You’ll join our Brand Marketing team at an exciting time. Following the success of campaigns including The Ultimate Vow, The Long Goodbye and, currently, A Personal Appeal, we’re on a mission to grow the public’s awareness of dementia and Alzheimer’s Society’s unique role in tackling the devastation of this disease.
You’ll work alongside the Senior Marketing Manager (Brand) to deliver the next advert in the A Personal Appeal series, develop strategic, innovative brand activations and partnerships and help shape where our brand goes next.

What you'll do
You’ll help develop brand campaigns, activations and partnerships from an initial idea through to testing, creative execution and delivery across a range of channels. And you’ll work collaboratively throughout the process with both our trusted creative and media planning agencies and internal stakeholders to build sector-leading work.
You’ll:

- Lead and project manage the delivery of large-scale, multi-channel brand marketing campaigns, keeping projects on track and working to agreed deadlines and budgets.
- Develop and deliver paid media strategies across AV, digital, out of home and print channels.
- Work closely with our creative and media agencies, building positive relationships and creating the conditions for brilliant work that makes people sit up and take notice.
- Drill down into audience insights, research and campaign performance to understand what’s working and where we can shift our approach to achieve organisational objectives.
- Bring colleagues and stakeholders with you along the way, so people across the organisation understand and feel connected to our campaigns.
- Help shape our brand strategy and make sure everything we produce feels consistent, relevant and inclusive.
- Manage significant budgets, making thoughtful decisions about where our investment can have the greatest impact.
- Consult on the strategic and creative development of key fundraising products, finding opportunities to connect our brand and fundraising activity.Line manage and support the Senior Marketing Executive (Brand), helping them develop and grow in their role.
- Deputise for the Senior Marketing Manager (Brand) when needed.

Some days will involve big ideas and inspiring creative conversations. Others will be about budgets, timelines, analysing data and getting the small details just right. You’ll need to be comfortable with both sides of this coin, while keeping sight of why this work matters to our audiences.

You might have developed your skills in a charity, agency, commercial organisation or somewhere completely different. What matters is what you can bring to the role, the way you work with others and your motivation to create work that truly makes a difference.
We’re looking for someone who can:

- Lead and project manage large-scale, successful, multi-channel campaigns, balancing competing priorities and keeping delivery on track to tight deadlines.
- Develop and deliver multi-channel paid media strategies, using insights and performance data to make informed decisions.
- Manage, track and make effective use of significant budgets, with a clear focus on value and impact.
- Work collaboratively with creative and media agencies, providing clear direction, challenging constructively and creating space for ideas to bloom.
- Communicate clearly, build trusted relationships and influence a broad range of stakeholders, including senior colleagues.
- Understand how brand marketing can build trust, awareness and engagement to support a charity’s wider goals.
- Use research, data and insights to understand what matters to people, translating learnings into compelling brand campaigns and partnerships.

You’ll be comfortable bringing both creative flair and analytical thinking to your work. You’ll be organised, curious and able to manage your own workload, while also knowing when to involve others or ask for support.
