We3can is a collaboration between three cancer charities - Brain Tumour Research, Leukaemia UK and Sarcoma UK. We3Can is an ambitious collaboration of the three charities to fund research into prevention, treatment and cures for the most common childhood cancers: brain tumours, leukaemia and sarcoma. Its purpose is "Funding research into better, kinder treatments to help cure kids' cancer."
The three cancers it focuses on (brain tumours, leukaemia and sarcoma) make up 78% of all childhood cancers. The collaboration allows the three distinct organizations to come together with a single-minded vision to be louder, more powerful, reach more people, and fund more vital research.

Job Purpose:
The Project Development Manager will be the main point of contact for the collaboration. They will be responsible for implementing and delivering the project plan, monitoring, evaluations, reporting, all systems and processes, coordinating meetings, etc and for generating income through (mainly) Corporate partnerships but may include some Trusts and High Value individuals. These partners will be with organisations/individuals who would otherwise be outside the reach of any of the three charities individually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create systems and processes for administering and managing the functions of the partnership.
- Ensure regular project group meetings take place.
- Lead on the promotion of the brand and communications activities in conjunction with the communications experts on the project group.
- Monitor website and social media activity.
- Promote and implement activities to increase the profile of the collaboration.
- Identify, add and manage a pipeline of prospective funders.
- Develop and implement a strategic income generation plan to and achieve annual revenue targets.
- Use the data base to manage reporting, indicator evaluation and to manager GDPR, Gift Aid (where appropriate) etc.
- Regularly report against the agreed KPI’s in the strategic income generation plan.
- Provide fortnightly written updates on activity.
- Identify and pursue prospective partners through research, networking and outreach.
- Develop tailored partnership proposals and pitches that articulate the mutual benefits to potential partners.
- Manage cultivation cycle - qualify, pitch, negotiate and close new business opportunities.
- Steward and renew existing partner relationships through exceptional account management.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop co-branded campaigns, marketing assets and employee engagement initiatives.
- Track and report on fundraising activities including pipeline, projections and results.
- Develop fundraising marketing materials and content for website, social media, etc.
The person:
A highly motivated, organised, goal focused, self-starter with;
- 5+ years of corporate fundraising, sales and/or account management experience
- Proven track record of securing six-figure corporate sponsorships and partnerships.
- Experience of bid writing and supporter stewardship
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop compelling fundraising proposals and presentations.
- Strong negotiation and relationship building skills.

Responsibilities
As the Venue and Tech Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
• Tech support for events: Providing technical support for webinars and in-person events, including sound and lighting setup and safe storage, and ensuring a seamless experience for participants. This will involve working outside of regular business hours on occasion.
• Contributing to venue management: A key member of the venue hire business, including client tech support, trouble-shooting, setup, clear-up and ongoing care of the venue, and viewings.
• Administrative support as needed by the charity: this aspect of the role may develop over time, responding to the needs of the charity and the interests and talents of the successful applicant.

About the Role
WISH2 is one of three components of the FCDO-funded WISH Dividend programme, which follows on from the Women’s Integrated Sexual Health (WISH) programme (August 2018 - March 2024). It will be implemented alongside two other components, which will focus on 1. Policy and Systems, i.e. a demand-led, flexible technical assistance programme on SRHR and Demographic Transition and 2. Evidence and Learning, i.e. a Third Party Monitoring and verification, evaluation and learning support. As for WISH 2, it will aim to support targeted countries on comprehensive SRHR including support for service delivery and technical assistance, and will be implemented through two consortium structures, called Lots. MSI-led Lot 1 will focus on West and Central Africa (namely in DRC, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Chad and Mauritania) and IPPF-led Lot 2 on East and Southern Africa. Lot 1 consortium partners will be MSI, Ipas, Options, Sightsavers, RAES and WILDAF-AO. The programme should start in May/ June 2024 and last 60 months.
As a core member of MSI’s WISH2 Lot 1 Management Team, the Project & Communications Officer (PCO) will contribute to the fulfilment of the MSI-led consortium’s mission under the programme, taking responsibility for providing administrative support and ensuring good communication about the project with external and internal stakeholders, to ensure the smooth implementation of the project -
- Contract management, including compliance, and due diligence;
- Administrative support to the management team, coordination of all WISH 2 Lot 1 Management Team meetings and consortium meetings to ensure strong collaboration, communication and learning through meetings, workshops, country visits, etc;
- Technical support with creation and maintenance of shared systems, and ways of working to ensure best practice and the achievements of the project are documented; and communications, reporting and compliance requirements are adhered to;
- Communications support and materials production, i.e. support the Project Director and Deputy Project Director with the development and implementation of a WISH2 Lot 1 communications and visibility strategy, increasing knowledge and awareness of the project and ensuring compliance with FCDO communications requirements. This will include support to the development of a range of communications materials and their dissemination.

Blue Marine Foundation is seeking a Programme Manager who will be responsible for the development and delivery of the Convex Seascape Survey and lead relations with the project’s funder. This role may suit someone from a corporate or account management background, preferably local to London or the southeast and willing to travel internationally as needed. The Convex Seascape Survey is two years into a five-year, multi-million-pound pioneering research project working to quantify and understand blue carbon stored in the coastal ocean floor and its potential to help mitigate climate change. Convex Seascape Survey is a partnership between Blue Marine Foundation, Convex Insurance Limited and the University of Exeter, delivered in partnership with a consortium of over sixteen other organisations.
Project management
· Lead the project management process, matched to the project grant agreement, including oversight of project finance and all deliverables.
· Coordination of project partners to ensure activities and deliverables are achieved in keeping with quarterly milestones.
· Relationship management with project partners, serving as a main point of contact and ensuring their ongoing satisfaction with the project’s progress and outcomes.
· Responsible for organising and feeding into Steering Committee meetings, as well as contributing as required to Advisory Group meetings.
· Managing supplier relationships, overseeing contracts and work package delivery.
· Representing the project at relevant conferences and forums or visiting fieldwork sites. International travel will be required at times.
Reporting
· Report progress into the steering committee on a quarterly basis, flagging areas of concern and actioning steering committee advice.

Communications
· Present the Project at public conferences and various stakeholder events

The successful applicant will be highly organised, with a rigorous approach to project management. Desired experience includes:
· Successful delivery of multi-million pound, multi-year research programmes or other projects
· Track record of high-impact project management, accurate reporting and successful project delivery
· Competent and confident public-speaker with the ability to communicate complex subjects to a range of audiences which could include corporate, political and public audiences
· High level of numeracy with the ability to track multiple budgets over time

· Aptitude and ability to work under pressure

· Working With: Other members of the wider A4Y team, schools, key partners including the management partner, young people and parent/guardians.
Main Purpose and Scope of the Role
This programme is part of a consortium bid via the NCS Community Grant scheme and will run from September 2023 until the end of March 2025. NCS is a government-funded initiative that brings together schools, community organisations, businesses and individuals to build a stronger and more cohesive society.
This role will work independently to deliver the Grow Your Ambition programme for young people aged 16/17 years across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes. The programme will be delivered in partnership with local schools, during term time, and includes three experiences; Grow Your Life Skills, Grow Your Employability and Grow Your Community. This role is a fixed term contract until the end of March 2025.
Each young person engaged in the programme must participate in all three experiences, totalling 48 hours. Key phases of each experience include preparation, session and curriculum planning, liaising with schools and external partners and actual programme delivery.
Each programme consists of:
Grow your Life Skills
· A two day, one night, residential experience at our outdoor education centre, Caldecotte Xperience in Milton Keynes.
· Two outdoor adventurous activities on site that focus on teambuilding, communication and problem solving.
· Delivery of Life Skills sessions such as a cooking challenge, money skills, First Aid, mental resilience and more
· Total 24 hours
Grow Your Employability
· Two days based in school, delivered in line with the school day
· Delivery of a variety of Employability sessions such as personal presentation, confident speaking, CV writing and interview skills
· Total 12 hours
Grow Your Community
· Two days based in school, delivered in line with the school day
· One day delivery of a variety of sessions based on social action and community engagement
· One day volunteering with a local charity
· Total 12 hours
Duties and Key Responsibilities
· Contact and recruit schools from across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes to sign up to the programme
· Organise delivery dates and programme timetables for their students within the contractual requirements of the programme
· Plan each programme and create a timetable of activities for students to follow
· Deliver sessions to groups of students as per each experience
· Stay overnight for the Grow Your Life Skills residential
- Work with local community organisations to host volunteering days
· Work within a set budget to deliver the programme, ensuring each experience is delivered to a high standard
· Enter data onto the NCS/ Action4Youth CRM system
· Deliver a high quality programme to young people across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes as per contractual requirements
· Report to the programme management partner and collect personal details of young people for reporting purposes
· Attend meetings with management partner and other organisations within the consortium
· Prepare and deliver reports for funders and the Action4Youth Senior Management Team (SMT)
· Develop positive relationships with schools across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes to ensure commitment to the programme
- Act as an Ambassador for Action4Youth at all times
General Responsibilities
· Support events and meetings when required.
- Support the continued development of quality standards as specified by Action4Youth.
- Support in other areas of the organisation as required by the CEO
· To have regard for the vision of Action4Youth and to display a commitment to equal opportunities and to the protection and safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
- Report any behaviour, conversations or comments which are inappropriate within a setting for children and young people.
· To carry out any other Action4Youth duties as required by your Line Manager, CEO or Directors.
· Administering own workload which includes meeting targets and deadlines in line with the Action4Youth Performance Management System.
· Attending relevant CPD training events in line with Performance Management appraisal.
· Undertaking responsibility, as part of the team, for all Health and Safety work related matters.
· Working within the guidelines of Action4Youth policies and procedures.

Through the partnership of Macmillan Cancer Support, Self Help UK and the Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System, the Macmillan Beyond Dagnosis service delivers support for people affected by cancer, as well as facilitated access to voluntary and community sector cancer specific support and wellbeing interventions across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Support and interventions will be identified using electronic health needs assessments (eHNA’s) and personalised care and support planning. This will provide a structured and clear ongoing support plan for those living with and beyond cancer which are integrated with primary, secondary and community clinical care pathways.
The aim of the service is to provide an improved experience for patients beyond their interactions with clinical services by contributing to the overall holistic approach to supporting people living with and beyond cancer. This will integrate the ‘beyond medicine’ approaches offered by the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) into existing and developing cancer pathways.
The Macmillan Beyond Diagnosis Service also includes the NUH Cancer Prehabilitation service, where we provide the Beyond Diagnosis model through the Social Prescriber Link Worker role.

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to cover parental leave.
The successful candidate will have accountability for several key areas of operational delivery of BITC’s programmes across England, Scotland and Wales. This role will ensure the high quality and consistency of performance through these aspects of operational delivery and development, working closely with businesses, internal stakeholders and external partners. This role is responsible for leading and managing a high-performing team, delivering programmes and contractual obligations across their patch. The post holder will lead on driving programme/contractual performance (both KPI’s and financial) motivating and inspiring the team. They will also have responsibility for ensuring continued funding from key partners and securing new income; monitoring and reporting on this important activity as it contributes to BITC's vision within a set geographical area or programme/project areas.
The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of:
· Managing the delivery of contract and programmes to meet contractual obligations
· Working with business, schools and/or community organisations to create beneficial relationships
· Providing leadership, motivation and development for a dispersed team to achieve excellent results for businesses and beneficiaries
· Securing funding for impact programmes
This is a fixed term contract for approximately 10 months to cover parental leave.
The location is flexible - candidates can be based at home or at their nearest BITC office.
The salary level for this role reflects the contractual location and the programme funding. The salary range is £33,120 to 41,000 per annum (regional) and £36,225 to £44,000 London office based.
The role is full-time - 35 hours per week.
