• This project will bring the learning from all place-based projects in Scotland to deliver activities and opportunities to enable people to walk, wheel, and cycle, for local journeys, leisure, and adventure. Their development officer team are embedded in local communities, working closely with community organisations, local businesses, and public sector agencies to:
• Bring organisations together to coordinate their activities and offers, to add value to what already exists and to identify what additional activities are needed.
• Deliver a range of walking, wheeling, and cycling activities, from pre-school and family cycling activities to health and heritage walks, adaptive cycling sessions for disabled people, confidence-building sessions, and learn-to-ride lessons         for every age and ability level.
• Provide access to a range of cycles for people to try on short or long-term loans, supporting individuals to find a cycle and support that works for them and signposting them to partners that can provide funding for purchases.
• Work with local organisations to upskill and build the capacity of volunteers to deliver activities in the community.

My Cancer My Choices is looking for a talented relationship builder, people engager, community maker, and money raiser, to support our continued growth and development. 

Our award-winning charity provides complementary therapies to people living with cancer in Berkshire, empowering them and giving them control and choices over the treatments that will help to impove their physcial and mental wellbeing.  We want to biuld on our current success to expand our work and reach more people who would benefit from our support. 

As our new Supporter Development Officer you will enhance existing relationships in our community, and with our current supporters - as well as build new connections - to secure the financial and other support required to fund our growing services. You will work with individuals, community groups and businesses across our area, as well as alongside our fabulous volunteer fundraising committee who organise numerous highly successful fundraising events each year.   

You will be a fantastic ambassador for our organisation, able to convince others to support our valubable work. About the role 

This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans, the UK’s leading sustainable transport charity. We are looking for a highly organised individual to provide co-ordination and administrative support for Sustrans-wide business development systems, activities. 

As the Business Development Officer, you will support colleagues across the organisation bidding for tenders and grant funding, by helping to guide bid submissions through a series of steps, from initial assessment to submission to funder decision. 

In this role you will support Project Officers and Senior Managers with all aspects of bid preparation including checking for compliance, proof reading and formatting.

The Development Manager (Trust and Foundations) will manage the strategic development of Trusts and Foundations fundraising, identifying opportunities to drive growth in this area. The post-holder will oversee income generation from grant-making organisations and ensure timely reporting to funders.

• Drive growth of Trusts and Foundations income especially at the five- and six-figure level, with a particular view to supporting unrestricted income and major projects in the organisation’s pipeline.

This advisory role will play a key contribution to help grow the RSPB’s Fair to Nature programme and improve habitats to protect and restore nature and wildlife on UK farms with one specific major business partner, and with a wide range of other farmers and businesses.

What's the role about?

For the key strategic business partnership within the dairy sector the role will visit farmer-suppliers and provide in-person habitat advice, and speak with farmers remotely (via Teams / Zoom) to understand their farming operation and provide habitat advice.

You will use this insight and experience to help inform the marketing tools and advisory programme for broader supply chain (other farms) within the partnership.

For other Fair to Nature farmers, and businesses directly linked to them, you will prepare for and complete advisory visits and follow up with applicant Fair to Nature farmers and share the benefits of Fair to Nature certification. You will advise them on how to comply with the FtN Standard and help them complete their Farm Plan.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

• Knowledge of land management practices that deliver nature and wider environment benefits on farmland.
• Understanding of the ecology of main farmland taxa, particularly those of conservation concern.
• Understanding of agricultural systems and how conservation management may impact on farming practice.
• Able to communicate effectively with farmers and advise them on land management for nature.

Purpose of Job:

The postholder plays a key role in managing the alumni network, with a specific emphasis on events and volunteer management, to actively engage alumni and stakeholders with Queen Mary’s Grammar School. The goal is to continuously enhance the value and contributions from stakeholders in alignment with Queen Mary’s Grammar School’s strategic priorities.

Ultimately, this role is designed to support the school’s strategic plan by delivering philanthropic income and other forms of financial and non-financial support from alumni and other stakeholders. This is achieved by developing and strengthening relationships with important constituents and identifying shared areas of interest and activities to enable lifelong relationships to form.

Main responsibilities:

1. To work with the Headmaster in developing links with the alumni network through the Queen Mary’s Club (QMC) for the purpose of school promotion, school career programme development and fundraising.

3. To oversee the financial and administrative function of school donations and the Queen Mary’s Association (QMA) as a parental fundraising body within the school.

About the Role

Responsibilities include:

• Research and make recommendations of funding opportunities (new funders) and the best fit with EJF’s current and planned programmes. Draft initial enquiries (LoI or call) or funding applications. Ensure timely, appropriate follow-up is conducted and that we collect and learn from feedback.

• As directed, manage relationships with funders, ensuring timely reporting that meets their needs. This will include drafting the funder newsletter (bi-monthly) and providing new materials, such as reports, films, audits, etc.

• Draft funding proposals and monitor all deadlines for reporting, planning for the timebound and efficient delivery, and working with team members to ensure the highest quality reports are drafted in good time.

• Organise a monthly meeting with the directors and COO to present opportunities and actions and agree on priorities and approaches to donors.

• Take the lead in preparing government grant applications, liaising with colleagues for information and finessing draft texts.

• Maintain the grant database and ensure it is regularly checked and updated and that leads are followed up.

• Maintain the grants calendar, ensuring you are aware of reporting deadlines and other priority needs well in advance and ensuring no deadlines are missed. The role will take a proactive lead and coordinate as required.

• Assist in delivering events to update existing and attract new funders and ensure appropriate follow-up.

• Assist in crafting presentations to funders and, as required, work with the comms team to develop films or other materials.

This position works closely with the members of the Learning and Development Team, as well as working in a support role with members of the Programmes Team to deliver quality learning and development programming. The Learning and Development Coordinator also works in partnership with external partners, including members of RedR’s Associate Trainer network, as well as other RedR organisations, partners and clients.

The Learning and Development Coordinator is an essential role within the Learning and Development Team and the Programmes Team more generally. The staff will closely work and coordinate with other members of the L&D Team as well as Programme Managers, Coordinators and Officers, Associate Trainers and Consultants, etc. The L&D Coordinator designs and adapts RedR UK training materials as well as providing technical L&D support and quality assurance to the broader Programmes Team. JOB DESCRIPTION

Main Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities 

Ensure that the quality of our L&D services and material is maintained, improved and expanded: 

• Contribute to guiding, standardising and quality assuring the conversion of learning/training material, content and courses or course modules to e-learning 
• Contribute to updating, maintaining and expanding RedR UK L&D and training material and resources, store & categorise them, and make them accessible
• Contribute to the update and maintenance of RedR UK’s e-learning and open-source learning platforms
• Provide quality assurance of project outputs or deliverables and assist in drafting high quality reports
• Contribute to the development or updating of RedR UK’s L&D and eLearning strategies 

Support the delivery of RedR UK's demand-led services to a consistently high standard: 

• Provide an end-to-end service - designing, supporting, quality assuring and evaluating the delivery of learning interventions, including developing new training and capacity development services (F2F, online facilitated and eLearning), particularly in connection with RedR UK’s self-paced eLearning offerings 
• Coordinate with the L&D team on planning and scheduling of L&D activities and liaise with colleagues across RedR UK to ensure uniform high quality of services 
• Where appropriate, design and/or deliver learning/training services directly to the participants 
• Where appropriate and agreed by line manager, lead the execution of selected projects, especially L&D projects 
• Assist in ensuring that necessary monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) data is gathered and analysed on all activities 

Support Network of Associate Trainers (ATs) and L&D Consultants to effectively deliver RedR UK's services: 

• Support the capacity building of ATs in L&D and technical Quality Assurance related matters, including introduction to RedR UK training methodologies, innovative training techniques, new training tools, etc. 
• Contribute to the recruitment, assessment and onboarding of prospective new Associate Trainers (ATs) into the trainer pool and/or on specific projects as required 
• Coordinate the work, performance, and planning of Associate Trainers when working under the L&D Unit. Quality-assure their work when working under Programmes Hubs 

Ensure that RedR UK services meet the needs of the sector and work to expand our reach: 

• Keep up to date with developments in learning with a focus on eLearning technologies and platforms, as well as other training methodologies and issues in the humanitarian sector and advise RedR UK programme teams accordingly 
• Contribute to identifying and exploring possibilities for expanding the range of services offered by the organisation and source funding for their implementation 
• Support business development efforts and proposal preparation by ensuring that the L&D component of the methodology is appropriate, services offered are in line with requirements, likely to achieve high impact and adding overall value to the programme 
• Represent RedR UK at selected external events and forums, as appropriate 
• Be the Key Account Manager (KAM) for selected Key Accounts (clients and partners) in line with RedR UK’s KAM System

• Experience in design of self-paced and blended eLearning programmes, including experience with Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, Vyond and other animation/design platforms including a strong understanding of accessibility requirements 
• Experience managing Learning Management Systems, especially Moodle 
• Experience and understanding of learning and development approaches, adult learning (andragogy) and participatory learning methodologies, including designing and conducting LNAs, designing, delivering and evaluating face-to-face and online facilitated events and revising/adapting training material
• Experience assessing learning, familiarity with the Kirkpatrick Model, and experience tracking, evaluating and reporting on learning data 
• Excellent people skills and experience in the coordination of consultants, including effective cross-cultural communication and strong inter-personal skills
