Your role
As Temporary Shop Manager at Scope's New Milton shop, you’ll have autonomy to run your shop using your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding. You will have relevant experience in retail but a great attitude and willingness to learn is just as important.
About you
As Temporary Shop Manager you’ll be passionate about retail and have a love of fashion with experience of running a shop, or you’ll be looking for a management role as the next step in your career. Our Community Fundraising Team are a nationwide team, supporting individuals and groups across the UK to raise vital funds for people living with and affected by diabetes.

Main Responsibilities
As one of our regionally dispersed Community Fundraiser's, you'll be joining a busy team, where you will manage relationships with our key supporters with the primary purpose of generating income across a geographical area, through community fundraising activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering income targets across the region by building strong relationships with individuals, local companies, community groups and volunteers, in line with our community fundraising strategy. You will also be responsible for the management and support of local third-party events in your region and in providing excellent stewardship to those supporters.
This role is home-based with regular travel across the region. There will also be regular travel to Diabetes UK offices for meetings.
Ideal Candidate
You'll be able to demonstrate a track record of meeting income targets through relationship fundraising. You'll be experienced in building and maintaining relationships with supporters and colleagues. A proactive person, you'll be self-motivated and able to work independently with a solution focussed approach. As an experienced fundraiser, you'll be confident working towards income and expenditure targets and reporting on financial progress. It is desirable that you have managed and secured corporate partnerships and have event management knowledge, though training will be provided.
You will have a passion for building excellent relationships with your supporters to increase loyalty and life-long relationships with the charity.

About the role
Sitting in our Fundraising and External Engagement Team, you’ll support colleagues to achieve agreed proactivity and income targets. You’ll work in a small team of fundraisers which includes corporate and individual giving along with some event work.
This is a part-time role where you’ll be expected to work 18.5 - 22.5 hours per week to include a Tuesday in the office and some weekend working.

It’s therefore essential that you can provide a welcoming, informative and prompt service so that our donors feel appreciated and supported. You’ll be a great communicator with people of all levels both internally and externally. Ideally, you’ll have knowledge and understanding of the charity sector and fundraising regulator requirements.

What will I be doing?
Proactively using the apprenticeship programme to develop a broad business administration skill set and a working knowledge of legacy giving products and processes; management of digital data; communication and collaboration techniques; legal frameworks and organisational structures
Proactively using the charity's learning and development programme to develop desired core operational and administration skills
Working collaboratively across the various legacy product teams to support the delivery of the wider team
Undertaking periods of protected learning (20% of time) to prepare for and meet apprenticeship standard requirements and end point assessment
Demonstrating the use and application of new knowledge, skills and behaviours

We are looking for an enthusiastic fundraiser to create and grow income opportunities through events and community activities for the Neuromuscular Centre; a charity in Winsford that provides a range of unique, specialist services for people with neuromuscular conditions. The Centre is a warm, vibrant community that exists as the only one of its kind in the UK and Europe. You'll be joining a successful fundraising team that together raises £500,000 per year, and a charity that has been enhancing the quality of life for people affected by neuromuscular conditions for 34 years.
You’ll be maintaining NMC’s existing events calendar, as well as having the autonomy to develop the calendar further and put your own stamp on it. You’ll also be managing our community fundraising income, which includes individual giving, lottery, working with local groups and supporting individuals with their own fundraising activities. You will be developing and building relationships with new and existing supporters to maximise fundraising potential, as well as recruiting and managing volunteers from all walks of life.
We’re looking for someone with previous fundraising experience, with the ambition to take this to new levels. This is a really immersive role, working with the charity's supporters and donors, while at the same time being based where the charity operates. This is a key new role in the Grants, Community and Corporate Partnerships Unit to help maximise corporate and community partnership opportunities and help scale up this growing income stream for future years. This locally based role will support current partnerships (including golf clubs, churches, schools and local corporates) as well as scoping new opportunities across Surrey. Representing Eikon in person at events, meetings, exhibitions as well event coordination are important components of this the role. We are a diverse, highly experienced team who share a passion to support the wellbeing and mental health of young people across Surrey.
Responsibilities
1. Account Management
- Day to day/ support account management of select corporate and community partnerships. This will be agreed with their manager per partnership (who will retain leadership), but could include:
- General stewardship including thanking and recording information on our CRM database (Donorfy) and shared drives.
- Representing the unit at local level events and/ or delivering marketing materials to community partners.
- Regular communication including calls, meetings and sharing reports, presentations and other updates
- Being key relationship holder for select local corporate partnerships and community groups such as primary schools, churches, supermarkets, amateur sports clubs
- Database admin including checking opportunity pipelines and reporting requirements
- Supporting individuals from companies or community groups to fundraise for us
2. Income generation
- Mapping (desktop research) of corporate and community opportunities across Surrey to support unit’s business development plans
- Management of a pipeline of golf clubs, making timely approaches to help the unit secure new captains’ charities
- Support role on larger corporate and community partnership pitches.
3. Event support
- Event management and/ or support for events across the unit.
- Represent Eikon at local external events such as conferences, expos, fetes and fairs.
- Actively seeking prize donations for auctions, raffles and events
- Attending community led fundraising events such as quizzes or mufti days run by corporate & community organisations.
4. Marketing, Communications and relationships
- Support and liaise with the Marketing and Communications team to deliver relevant and effective content and materials as well as maximising social media opportunities for corporate and community groups
- Coordinate bespoke mass communications to corporate and community groups e.g. appeals, reports and updates.
5. Strategy
- Contribute to Development Team strategies, annual plans and budgets
6. Staff management
- Take part in regular supervision and team meetings.
- No line management requirement
7. Quality and standards
- Ensure all staff and volunteers understand and deliver within Eikon’s safeguarding policies and practices when taking part in fundraising activities.
- Ensure all activities follow the relevant Fundraising Codes of Practice and Eikon’s Ethical Fundraising Policy.
- Prepare relevant Partnership Agreements and Commercial Participator Agreements.
- Carry out risk assessments for all activities for which you are responsible.
- Carry out required due diligence on new corporate opportunities and ensure the company’s values do not conflict with the values or ethical policy of the charity.
8. Finance and resources.
- Operate within organisational approved budgets, policies and procedures.
9. Other responsibilities
- Keep abreast of sector trends and opportunities.

Job Description Chief Executive Officer
This is a part time role with a fixed term contract of twelve months in the first instance. The intention is that funding will be sourced to extend the role.
Given the close connection with women who have faced trauma and experienced violence and the faith-based nature of the culture there are Genuine Occupational Requirements (as set out in the Equality Act 2010) for the postholder to be a woman and actively supportive of the Christian faith.

Your role
As Assistant Shop Manager at Scope's Sittingbourne shop, you’ll work alongside the Shop Manager, and use your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be be generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding. You may also deputise and be responsible for running the shop when the shop manager is absent. A great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important as relevant experience.
About you
You’ll be a dedicated team player with a strong work ethic and committed to providing excellent customer service. You do not need specific retail experience. But we do ask that you are business minded and have worked in a fast paced, service environment where you put the customer’s needs first. You’ll also need to showcase a great attention to detail, solid IT skills and have a creative eye for displays. It’s important for you to know that Scope Charity Shops are open every day, so some weekend and Bank Holiday cover is needed. We work 35 hours a week, working five days out of seven. Weekly hours for part-time vacancies are on a seven-day rota.

St. John’s church Deptford possesses a unique grade II* listed Binns Organ and a development grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) for its restoration.
The Role
To deliver the Development Phase of the Project to a high standard. You will refine the budget, create the project’s cashflow, revise the project plan and organise procuring of three roles: an Activity Planner, an Evaluator, and a Fundraiser. You will maintain a close overview of the project plan for the Development Phase, compiling NLHF Development Phase final report and evaluation. The role is for a duration of nine months.
