We’re looking for a Fundraising Officer to develop and foster a legacy pipeline and increase our donations from Trusts and Foundations to help achieve our vision of a wilder Derbyshire.

In this role, you will lead legacy income by initiating, managing and developing a comprehensive programme of cultivation and stewardship activities for legacy pledgers. You will develop and implement a programme to meet our income targets from Trusts and Foundations, writing compelling fundraising bids that tell our story.

The vital work of the charity is partially enabled by income generated through fundraising; from supporter engagement and community events and activities, as well as philanthropic sources, such as trusts and foundations, and major donors.

As Supporter Engagement Officer you’ll play a key role in helping us to engage new and existing supporters as well as helping to deliver first-class stewardship to retain support and build trust. In addition you will develop appeals and communications that engage and inform supporters which help to raise more voluntary income.

Directly supporting the Direct Marketing and Legacy Manager and working closely with all of the Supporter Engagement team it would be beneficial if you have previous experience or an interest in Fundraising. Being a confident communicator with a “can-do” approach is essential as well as being able to demonstrate proven administrative skills, the ability to manage a varied workload and be highly organised.

We offer flexible working patterns, both in terms of hours and remote working. Please note that all employees are contractually required to work from the office a minimum of 4 days a month.

Some roles may be required to be in the office more often than others and this will be agreed with the hiring manager upon starting at Turn2us.

Fundraising and Partnerships Officer (1 FTE)

We’re on the lookout for a Fundraising and Partnership Officer to join our team, someone that can nurture relationships with our existing partners and develop new collaborations, someone who can increase our reach, and importantly, secure funding to do good.

Job Description
Whilst we imagine this job to be split roughly 50:50 between partnership management and fundraising, the truth is that we’re a small team and we all pitch in beyond our job descriptions. Everyone here has good ideas, insight and can offer support in all aspects of our work in some way or another.

Partnerships management:

1. NURTURE RELATIONSHIPS WITH OUR PARTNERS: Manage and foster excellent relationships with our long-term partners supporting our conservation work in Indonesian Borneo, including NGOs, zoos, corporates and other organisations; extend thanks and provide resources and advice to support them with their activities.

2. SHOUT ABOUT CLIMATE CONSERVATION: Report progress on our conservation work in Indonesian Borneo to long-term partners by drafting high-quality reports in close collaboration and support to our Grants Officer.
Fundraising:

3. SECURE FUNDING TO DO GOOD: Support the development and expansion of BNF International’s fundraising activities by identifying and securing new opportunities and
partnerships, participating in the BNF Global Outreach Team working groups and supporting the Marketing and Fundraising Manager.

4.FUNDRAISE FOR OUR 1 MILLION TREES CAMPAIGN: develop opportunities for the BNF 1 Million Trees Campaign and further reforestation campaigns by identifying dedicated habitat restoration and tree-planting donors globally; introducing our project and establishing partnerships, bringing directors into the conversation as necessary, and managing relationships with donors in the long term.

5. COLLABORATE: Identify and follow-up on new fundraising opportunities which BNF can set up or take part in to widen our reach and encourage members of the public to support or fundraise for BNF, for example by way of BNF-led challenges, charity places in sponsored events, online fundraising and other means of raising funds and awareness.

6.REPRESENT US: Occasionally attend external events to support partnership development and individual giving fundraising.

General:

7.Provide general support across the BNF International organisation and wider BNF family, to all staff and volunteers, to help ensure the efficient, effective and successful running of our activities; and to provide advice and insight to enhance the effectiveness and impact of BNF International.

Please have all or some of the following skills and experience:
-Educated at degree or master’s level in a conservation or related scientific area.
-Previous fundraising experience desirable
-Excellent people skills, enjoy dealing confidently with people at all levels as well as external stakeholders.
-Ability to turn scientific information into content that can be easily understood by non-scientific audiences.
-Ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks, manage workload and develop the role

We’re looking for someone who is proactive and organised, and who works well with others, to ensure that funding applications and reports are inspiring, compelling, accurate, and delivered on time. 

You’ll have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a desire to develop the futures of young Londoners. You will relish the challenge of helping us to grow our income by building and supporting relationships with a wide range of Trusts and Foundations, some of whom have supported us for many years.  In addition to this, you will work under the leadership of our Fundraising Manager to offer support across other areas of fundraising work including corporate and events.

Salford Foodbank provides emergency food parcels to local people who are referred to us in crisis. Food is donated, sorted and packed at our warehouse, then delivered to our 7 centres across Salford, where teams of volunteers greet people as they pick up their food parcels. People can also access support and advice at our centres to help them maximise their income and ensure they are less likely to need to use the foodbank again.

You’ll be joining a friendly team of 6 part-time staff, 6 Trustees and approx. 80 volunteers, all dedicated to supporting people facing hardship. We are part of The Trussell Trust, a nationwide network of foodbanks.

Rate of pay: £21,000 per annum for 22.5 hours per week (£35,000 FTE pro-rata)

Full-time / part-time: Part time role 22.5 hours per week (flexible, home based within the North West with some contact hours at Salford Foodbank warehouse/office)

Temporary / permanent: Fixed term contract role for 18 months, with opportunity to extend based on funding

•  This is an exciting opportunity to join Salford Foodbank in a new role, accountable to the Foodbank Manager and the board of trustees. As the need for Foodbank services continues to grow Salford Foodbank has developed and expanded. The staff and volunteer team have increased, and we have embarked on new projects to support those that use the Foodbank.
• In order to maintain our current services and further develop, we need to grow our annual fundraised income.
• Through this new organisational role, you’ll proactively create and grow fundraising income, reach, and support from grant giving trusts and foundations as well as corporate organisations across Salford and Greater Manchester.  
• Through your fundraising expertise, you will have a proven track record of growing income and building relationships with trusts and foundations as well as corporate partners to achieve and exceed annual income targets and KPI’s. You’ll have the capacity to create and craft compelling funding proposals that successfully engage and attract donations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Through excellent, comprehensive and considered research, you’ll identify and prioritise a pool of potential grant giving trusts and foundations funders for Salford Foodbank. You’ll forge relationships with those funders, develop and submit timely and winning funding applications.
• You’ll manage the ongoing relationships with grant giving trusts and foundations funders, ensuring they receive excellent stewardship, timely reporting and doing all you can maximising potential for further funding
• You’ll proactively identify, engage and build good relationships with prospective corporate donors, successfully securing them as funding partners. Alongside this you’ll deepen engagement and grow our relationships and partnerships with existing corporate donors.
• Working with colleagues across Salford Foodbank, you’ll develop authentic, compelling, creative and winning funding and partnership proposals that can successfully engage grant giving trusts, foundations and corporate partners and that can successfully align our vision and work with their needs, motivations, areas of interests and values.
• You’ll research potential funding opportunities from the local council and local authorities.
• You will develop, monitor and manage a fundraising portfolio. You’ll establish a fundraising pipeline, including a range of KPI’s that can be tracked and that will enable you to make informed projections regarding future income.
• You’ll work collaboratively with other Trussell Trust food banks across the Greater Manchester area, identifying and progressing opportunities for joint funding proposals and partnerships.
• You’ll forge strong relationships with colleagues across the wider Trussell Trust network, sharing best practice and learning from other charities across the network. You’ll proactively take advantage of any fundraising training and skills development opportunities and engage with any joint fundraising opportunities.
• You’ll be willing to carry out other reasonable duties contributing to the overall aims of the Foodbank.

Skills

• You’ll have good, established experience of trusts and foundations fundraising as well as corporate partnerships fundraising.
•  With excellent written and verbal communication and relationship management skills. You’ll be able to inspire and motivate new and existing funders.
• You’ll have experience of setting, managing and reporting against fundraising KPI’s.

We are looking for someone who is outgoing and enthusiastic to join our Supporter Care team, who will carry out essential supporter engagement and administrative activities associated with marketing campaigns, donations, fundraising events and requests for materials. With previous experience of providing excellent customer service, you will have the ability and confidence to communicate with a variety of people, engaging with supporters by phone, email and in writing about a wide range of enquiries. 

The Supporter Care team at Alzheimer’s Research UK is often the first point of contact in the charity for supporters, potential donors and members of the public. The Supporter Care Administrator works alongside five other team Administrators handling supporter enquiries, processing donations, and thanking supporters to ensure an excellent standard of customer care and to generate the maximum amount of income for dementia research. This role reports to the Senior Supporter Care Officer (SSCO) and ensures that the team successfully deliver an efficient and a first-class supporter experience for the charity.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract, or on return of the substantive post holder, due to a secondment. This role will you to be in the office 2-3 days per week depending on business needs.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Supporter engagement

· Answering inbound telephone calls; responding to a wide range of enquiries including marketing campaigns, donations, fundraising events and requests for materials.

· Managing email enquiries, either by responding or forwarding as necessary.

· Responding to written enquiries received in the post.

· Making outbound telephone calls in order to increase the value of, or to retain supporters; including thanking, obtaining Gift Aid declarations and reactivating lapsed donors.

· Recording feedback received by the charity and assisting in the resolution of complaints.

· Champion high quality supporter care, ensuring that all supporters and members of the public have an excellent experience when contacting the charity.

 Donation processing, database and general administration

· Processing donations from telephone calls and mailings, acknowledging supporters appropriately.

· In Memoriam giving; sending out materials, processing donations and sending appropriate acknowledgements to donors, Funeral Directors, and the Next of Kin.

· Regular giving; processing new Direct Debit instructions and Standing Order payments, amending and cancelling gifts as necessary.

· Processing and thanking donations relating to regional fundraising and sporting events.

· Ensuring the integrity of the database (currently Salesforce), by amending supporter details as necessary.

· Opening and batching incoming post.

· Updating team procedures as required.

· Archiving, scanning and filing documents.

· Experience of working in a customer facing role.

· Experience of handling queries and complaints.

· Confidence working with computers – good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM databases.

· Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

Main purpose of post  

The main purpose of this post it to work alongside the Events Manager and Fundraising team to help deliver a range of charity events, both Weston Park Cancer Charity led and third part events, throughout the year. This will also involve seeking out new opportunities and events that the charity can get involved with in order to continually grow the events portfolio year on year.

This Role will also involve working closely with our supporters, especially those attending/taking on an event for the charity by providing a high level of donor care.

We are looking for someone with a passion for events and the charity sector, and the ambition to help continually grow our event generated income.

What you do  

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the Events Manager to plan, organise and deliver the Weston Park Cancer Charity key events across the year including: Doncaster Race Evening, Golf Days, Walk as One and Sing Under the Stars.

• Work with the Events Manager to deliver third party active events including: Skydive, Yorkshire Three Peaks and Great North Run.

• Provide support as well as lead on other events that the charity may be involved with throughout the year including hospital engagement events.

• Work with the Events Manager to continually develop the charity events portfolio for 2025 and beyond

• Provide high level donor care to support donors on their ‘journey’ for those taking on an event for the charity, through exploring opportunities to feel connected and enthusiastic about the work that we do. This will involve welcoming supporters, sending them good lucks and following up with them post event to see how they got on.

• Work closely with our fundraising platform, Raisely, to give our supporters the best stewardship journey possible.

• Seek new event opportunities that Weston Park Cancer Charity could partner with or be involved in.

• Keep up to date with current event trends

• Represent the charity at charity events across the region and the UK

• Understanding the opportunities for developing new relationships as well as retaining existing ones.

• Working on agreed targets and objectives to increase both awareness of the charity, and funding to maintain it’s vital services.

• Working as part of a supportive fundraising team to positively promote Weston Park Cancer Charity within South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire.

• Support the whole fundraising team with innovative and creative ideas for income generation that make us stand out from the crowd.

• Ensure that all communication and interaction with donors is captured through the Fundraising database CRM System and that all donors are thanked timely and efficiently.

• Apply the guidance provided by the Fundraising Regulator and Institute of Fundraising or any fundraising governing bodies to any fundraising activity

• Providing support for fundraising initiatives, campaigns & events during the year

• Attend and contribute to team meetings and 'away days' and be an active, invested member of our team

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled writer and fundraiser to tell the stories of SAT-7 and the people of the MENA in fresh and powerful ways.

You’ll be working in a fast-paced, creative environment as part of the Fundraising Team, delivering high quality proposals and reports. You’ll be one of the main points of contact with our international office, gathering and repurposing impactful proposals and reports.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Grant Fundraising

• Preparing, maintaining and delivering an annual plan for all grant applications
• Writing compelling proposals and reports to grant-making trusts and organisations
• Identifying and developing relationships with selected key funders
• Researching new potential funders
• Liaising with our SAT-7 International Development Team to identify projects which require funding and source material for proposals and reports

Grant Funding Hub

• Supporting internal teams with appropriate funding proposals and connected reports
• Supporting development of cross-organisational impact reports as required

Statutory and Development Funding

• Monitor statutory funding opportunities and, working with your line manager, support the development of applications, proposals and reports.

Location: 2wish currently offers a form of hybrid working and this will continue for the foreseeable future. This post is predominantly home based, with regular travel across the area you reside in and some travel to our Head Office in South Wales

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. Work outside office hours may sometimes be necessary and will be compensated for by time off in lieu.

Annual Leave: 28 days plus bank holidays. Annual leave steadily increases after five years of service. Annual leave and statutory holidays are calculated on a pro rata basis where applicable.

Objective:

2wish exists to provide support to anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under.

Aims:

• Ensure every Emergency Department and Critical Care unit has a suitable bereavement suite
• Ensure that bereavement boxes are available at each of these hospitals
• Ensure that immediate bereavement support is available for all affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide a professional counselling service and other therapies for those affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide support to individuals who witness the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide support and training to professionals from any sector who may be affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• To advocate and campaign on behalf of suddenly bereaved families

Context of role:

2wish supports anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under. We are a largely self-funded charity providing support across Wales and more recently, in the bordering counties with England. Our support team works very closely with our fundraising team to increase income but also to raise awareness of the work of 2wish.

This is a unique opportunity for two individuals to raise awareness of the charity, building it’s profile and engaging communities across the English counties that border Wales. It will involve helping to organise fundraising events, working with volunteers and encouraging community fundraising opportunities.

Main duties:

• To help raise awareness of 2wish and the work we do in England
• To work alongside the support team in England, Phase I and to build on the reputation of 2wish
• Research, approach and engage community groups and local supporters using mechanisms for engaging their support to develop additional sources of income
• To liaise with the public in England, Phase I who are fundraising for 2wish
• To support the delivery of community and corporate events, and monitor the income raised

We are seeking a well organised individual to support with the management and development of our foundations, grants and trusts work.

Through your studies/coaching and mentorship you will learn to engage in meaningful conversations to highlight the benefits of becoming an RSPB member and showcase how their contributions make a significant impact on our conservation efforts. The role will involve working 3 out of 4 weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Each day you will travel to different venues in your RSPB van, set up an attractive fundraising stand, and spend the day actively engaging with members of the public, spreading awareness about our conservation efforts and generating new RSPB memberships via direct debits.
• You will attend regular meetings with your Area Manager and regional Teams and either virtually or on occasions in person. You will undertake your course virtually.
• You will have 6 hours per week dedicated to study, which would be in addition to your development day where you will undertake training and development to further support you in your role.

• Ability to work outdoors and independently - One day you could be outside a store on the Highstreets, the next at one of our reserves. Wherever you will be working for the day you will have 4 weeks’ notice in advance. Initially you will be teamed up with a buddy but eventually you will work alone.
• GCSC (English and Math's) – preferable. If not, you will be expected to do an additional functional skills element to your apprenticeship.

Your role

As Assistant Shop Manager at Scope's West Croydon shop, you’ll work alongside the Shop Manager, and use your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be be generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding. You may also deputise and be responsible for running the shop when the shop manager is absent. A great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important as relevant experience.

You’ll be a dedicated team player with a strong work ethic and committed to providing excellent customer service. You do not need specific retail experience. We are now looking for a Member Engagement Officer to assist a lively and talented team with all areas of Remember a Charity’s membership administration, in addition to supporting the marketing and partnerships workstreams.

This is a unique opportunity not only to help grow charitable giving, but to also work closely with those member charities (close to 200) who rely on gifts in Wills to continue their vital work.

Key Accountabilities

· To maintain and update records on Remember A Charity’s CRM database and E-Comms mailing lists for charities, legal supporters and partner organisations. To run CRM reports as required.

· To assist with the onboarding of new joiner charities and legal sector supporters.

· To use the website content management system (CMS) to build member charity and legal sector supporter online profiles; and to make any amends to these profiles and other website pages as required.

· To manage the central In-Box and respond to all enquiries or signpost to the relevant team member.

· To co-ordinate the programme of rolling annual membership renewal and new-joiner invoicing, including credit control of all invoices.

· To prepare monthly engagement report  collating key activity metrics for members and legal sector supporters

· To assist with online and in person member, prospect and legal sector supporter events, including creating registration links, managing attendee information on the CRM and other events preparation and follow-up required.

· Representing Remember A Charity at key charity and legal sector exhibitions when required.

· To capture minutes from all key meetings.

· Diary management when required.

Main responsibilities will include:

Prospecting and research

• Research the funding market, tracking and identifying suitable high value tendering, commissioning and partnership opportunities and funding streams, in line with Artswork’s strategic plans, priorities, Fundraising and Social & Ethical Policies

• Conduct regular, timely reviews of published tenders and funding opportunities, in order to make recommendations to the Head of Business Development on which ones to pursue

• Establish a focused, qualified pipeline of prospective funders, investors, sponsors and donors Bid development

• Working to the strategic guidance of the Head of Business Development, prepare funding bids, tenders and sponsorship proposals, meeting funders' procurement and management requirements

• Develop realistic, costed delivery plans and budgets for proposals, working with the Head of Budgets, Contracts & Policy

• Lead the budget development process for bids, ensuring compliance with Artswork’s internal finance policies and funder requirements

• Coordinate the input of relevant stakeholders into the bid development process, ensuring they are aware of what is needed and by when, bringing everything together in a timely manner

• Effectively manage multiple funding deadlines to ensure no key opportunities are missed

• Establish an efficient and effective internal process to manage the bid lifecycle, including ensuring effective Go/No-Go decision-making processes are followed and that bid design achieves the right balance of price, risk management and design quality Stakeholder management

• Develop and implement a plan to secure ongoing relationships with grant givers, commissioners and sponsors, to retain their support into the future

• Coordinate the input of the Sales, Marketing and Communications team into proposal design
