Lincolnshire Crisis Service have two houses in the county, one in Boston and another in Lincoln, we provide a range of support for people with mental ill health and both work to a recovery model. We have been operating in the area for a number of years and offer a staffed service to our residents aged 18 and upwards. This role does require you to work varied hours as the service is 24/7 and may include some sleep in shifts, these are paid in addition.

We know that recovery can look and feel very different to each and every one of us. But we also know that if we provide the right support, at the right time, we can inspire recovery nationwide and that recovery is possible for everyone. That’s where you come in. Responsible for helping and inspiring the people who use our services, we’ll rely on you to work with them to come up with a personal support plan that will see them achieve their goals and aspirations. Whether it’s developing their domestic and finance management skills or accessing work, leisure or educational opportunities, one thing’s for sure – you will have every chance to shine.

This is a full time permanent role requiring you to work 37.5 hours a week with a requirement to work a variety of shifts, day, evening, sleep in cover and weekends. The service is open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. We offer a 5 week rolling rota.

Richmond Fellowship is part of Recovery Focus, a national group of charities highly experienced in providing specialist support services to individuals and families living with the effects of mental ill health, drug and alcohol use, gambling and domestic violence. From 1st June 2024 Richmond Fellowship will be merging with the mental health charity Humankind to form a single organisation that provides the joined-up mental health, housing and drug and alcohol support we’ve all known has been needed for decades. Our Corporate Support Coordinator plays a key role in developing and implementing a compelling package for businesses and organisations to support FareShare GM, which includes running corporate days (team building and volunteering in the FSGM operation) as well as other ways for organisations to engage with us such as sponsorship, fundraising activities, events and so on. 

You'll take a proactive lead in coordinating the activities of corporate partners, in conjunction with the FSGM Operations team, staff and volunteers, to ensure successful outcomes for all.  You'll build and maintain positive relationships with all our stakeholders including FareShare UK, our customers and the wider community to optimise the benefits of corporate engagement activities.

The successful candidate will need to: 

• have proven experience in building relationships with external stakeholders
• have strong communication skills including creating and giving presentations and writing compelling content for external audiences

Job Purpose:

The Fundraising and Administration Officer role primarily focuses on providing excellent supporter care and administrative support within the fundraising department. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining supporter relations, optimising fundraising efforts, and ensuring efficient administrative processes are in place.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporter Care:

• To be a first point of contact for the Fundraising Department, answering the phone and meeting and greeting people who arrive to the office.
• Respond to enquiries from supporters, prospective supporters and volunteers via telephone, e-mail, and post, maintaining excellent supporter relations.
• Ensure timely and appropriate acknowledgments, using both standard and bespoke correspondence.
• To adhere to administrative procedures to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service which is compliant with all relevant legislation, policies, regulations, and guidelines.
• Provide admin support for Direct Mail letters and appeals, including the use of mail merge, when required.
• Assist with the ongoing stewardship of Regular Givers.

Community Fundraising:

• Co-ordinate the recruitment and appropriate use of volunteers to support fundraising.
• Develop relationships with volunteer fundraisers, with the aim of maximising the funds they raise through challenges, events and talks.
• Support the formation of volunteer fundraising groups.
• Support ongoing and new events within the UK, which may include occasional weekend and evening work.
• Take the lead with the co-ordination and administration of public collections in the UK.
• Take the lead in monitoring fundraising merchandise, and liaise with suppliers, for fundraising materials, including Christmas Cards.

Digital Marketing:

• Support in developing UK digital fundraising opportunities.
• Administer digital acquisition campaigns in the UK e.g. through digital advertising, to generate new donors.

Database Management (Training will be provided):

• Create and maintain contact records on Salesforce, ensuring supporter information is kept up to date by recording changes to mailing preferences, gift aid eligibility and contact details etc.
• Database maintenance and housekeeping e.g. identifying and merging duplicate records, removing, or archiving redundant data, adhering to GDPR protocols.

Finance Administration (Training will be provided):

• Efficiently process and reconcile incoming donations, received daily by post, online and phone. Bank cheques and cash on a weekly basis, and process credit card and CAF donations.
• Record all donations to Salesforce, ensuring the accurate coding of income to the correct source and supporter.
• Administer new Direct Debit instructions.
• Support monthly and quarterly reports demonstrating fundraising income received against budget, to inform the management team and provide accurate forecasting.
• Scan and upload credit card statements and invoices for payment by the Finance team.
• Record and reconcile petty cash expenditure.
• Assist the Finance team in the reconciliation of all income received, responding to any queries.

General Office Administration:

• Order office stationery and fundraising supplies, as required.
• Co-ordinate general office maintenance, as required.
• Arrange accommodation for staff travel to Shrewsbury.

Essential

• Relevant qualifications from a Further Education Institution or equivalent office/administration experience in a busy environment, preferably in fundraising or marketing.

We are a large-scale, dynamic, and forward-thinking restoration and hospitality project in the Northwest Highlands with strong philanthropic and community commitments. The heart of our operation is on a remote and beautiful 800-acre island, where we are delivering stunning, sympathetic builds and authentic guest experiences in an area of outstanding scenery.

We run a monitoring programme to capture our social and environmental impact and effectiveness across a range of indicators and are looking for an enthusiastic, creative person to help with this work and become our Impact Coordinator. Our chief areas of charitable engagement include Education, Rural and Community Regeneration, Arts, Culture, Heritage and Science, Environmental Protection and Improvement, and Health and Wellbeing.

The purpose of this role will be the accurate measurement of the effectiveness and social value of the projects we deliver for our owning Charitable Trust. Our Impact Coordinator will work with our internal and external impact team to measure the social value of past, present and future projects, with strategic guidance and support from our leadership team, external advisers, and Trustees.

This role will suit a graduate with degrees, or equivalent experience, in the Social Sciences, Sustainable Development, Management or related fields. This is an opportunity for an ambitious candidate to jump straight into a well-supported role on a big project and produce well-presented, evidence-based stories about the project’s impact using numbers, text, and multimedia for a variety of different audiences.

We gather social value data and KPIs, and have a burgeoning collection of testimonials, feedback, and imagery. We need someone to help build and maintain our qualitative and quantitative data library. This will very much be a “doing” role, involving time spent with spreadsheets and reports, as well as time spent with the team helping them with the same. We are collating the story of the project to date for a key report in Q1 2025.

Main duties and responsibilities:

IT

· Ensure all staff have IT equipment from their first day of work, ensuring that they are able to access the IT support they need with minimal interruption to daily tasks.

The Role:

This role will cover a wider area of executive support including governance, meeting management, senior leadership team support, managing on-line gatherings, travel management, diary management, correspondence management and relationship management.

The post-holder will be key in supporting the WWP in this, and also, with both WWP and CEO, in mapping out the key events and activities over a 6 year cycle, so that there is a clear structure for the new WWP (and ultimately successor to CEO ) to come into and work with. They will also assist the CEO in “standard agenda planning” for the board, for example, the induction of the new Board in early 2025.

Whilst the role is for 3 days per week, ideally this would be flexible, with the individual working more days at certain times (for example during the Board week) and less at quieter times.

MU is a small team, (about 25) and there is an expectation that all will show flexibility in helping out on areas not explicit in their role descriptions, when time and their expertise and ongoing workload allow

The ideal candidate should be proficient in handling the Microsoft suite, zoom, familiarity with handling databases and finance systems. They should be confident in taking minutes in board meetings, experienced in acting as a project manager, able to use a project tool to facilitate planning of schedules for SLT, Board and committees throughout the year, and possess excellent relationship skills, confident to liaise with board members and provincial presidents from around the Globe.

Work Location

This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays.

As the Administration and Liaison Officer you will be the primary point of contact and the face of the Rugby foodbank for all stakeholders.  You will need to have excellent administration and communication skills as you will be our contact point for volunteers, clients, voucher issuing agencies, food and financial donors. In partnership with the Service Delivery Manager, you will guide the development of the foodbank project including its material resources, financial assets, reputation, partnerships and volunteer body.

Your key skills will be effective communication and the ability to work with all types of people from every kind of background. You will engage with volunteers, clients, Trustees and external agencies such as statutory agencies, churches, schools and businesses to maximise engagement. You will need to be a flexible team member with the ability to balance duties according to the needs and opportunities of the organisation. You will be an outgoing self-starter who is confident working on their own initiative as well as part of a wider team.

Our stakeholders are primarily our volunteers, clients, voucher issuing agencies including statutory and community groups, food and financial donors from the community including churches and other faith groups, schools, other charities and businesses, our Trustees and staff.

About the Role

This role is an exciting opportunity to work for Mind BLMK as part of the Fundraising & Engagement Team. Acting as the first point of contact for all Fundraising & Comms enquiries and in line with Mind BLMK’s Fundraising and Communications Strategy, this is a busy role and will require excellent stewardship and donor care skills as well as meticulous organisation and innovative thinking. As an Ambassador for Mind BLMK, you will need to have a passion for mental health and an ability to operate at all levels.

The successful applicant will generate income and support all aspects of communication and marketing, to help to maximise local support, raise awareness of our work in the community, and by providing exceptional supporter stewardship, in line with Mind BLMK’s Fundraising and Communication strategy.

Key Duties

• Act as the first point of contact for all fundraising enquiries and provide stewardship and donor care for Mind BLMK’s individual givers, corporates, groups, volunteers and other supporters of the charity, in line with the fundraising strategy.
• Act as first point of contact for all marketing, PR and event enquiries.
• Send donors bespoke information and materials to support their fundraising at Mind BLMK.
• Ensure supporter interaction points (telephone, post, email) adhere to the highest standard.
• Support existing and develop new partnerships with corporates, organisations, and individuals, to support income growth.
• Develop and maintain relationships with philanthropists and encourage legacy giving.
• Help with the co-ordination of fundraising volunteers, as requested or as appropriate.
• Help to identify and develop potential areas of fundraising growth and process improvements, in line with the Fundraising Strategy and supporting net income growth.
• Write and send outgoing thank you letters to all income streams.
• Help maintain an up-to-date and accurate supporter database, finance log and fundraising and communications materials.
• Support the implementation of marketing strategies and targeted campaigns; plan, develop, and ensure the production of multi-media communications, PR, and marketing materials and compelling stories.
• Work closely with external organisations in order to raise awareness of services available locally and increase access to provision for individuals across Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our talented team as a Dementia Adviser. You will have the rewarding experience of providing information, guidance and support to people affected by dementia in identifying their needs, to help maintain independence, improving sense of well-being, and putting them in more control of their lives. 

This role will be supporting the south Asian community within Redbridge, so we are looking for someone who is be fluent in English and south Asian languages in particular Urdu. 

You will:

- Offer a vital service delivering information, guidance and support to guide those affected by dementia, face-to-face, by telephone and online.
- Managing referrals, assisting clients in assessing their information and support needs in a person-centred manner.
- Work closely with health, adult social care and third sector colleagues assessing, signposting, and providing information and guidance to support people affected by dementia.
- Build robust working relationships and develop networking opportunities with a range of local partners and community organisations. 
- Create pathways with partner organisations who work in the field of dementia, ensuring seamless, holistic consistent support and empowering individuals to make informed choices.  
- Facilitate group services including our Singing for the Brain face to face group and our carer information programme.

About you

- Fluent in south Asian languages mainly Urdu, (but it will be a bonus if you are also able to speak either of the following: Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi)
- A good communicator 
- Able to travel in around the London borough of Redbridge  
- Have experience working within NHS environment’s and liaising face to face with healthcare and voluntary sector professionals and building rapport within the borough of Redbridge.
- Be experienced in leading group sessions  
- Reliable and possess problem solving skills
- Proficient in IT packages

About the role

Our local groups are Memory Cafes in Bovey Tracey and Kingsbridge and Singing for the Brain groups in Exmouth and Dawlish, as well as an online Peer Support group. Several groups are well established, but others require developing and promoting to reach a wider number of people. The successful candidate will be managing a supportive and experienced team of dedicated volunteers and managing our relationship with our Singing facilitators.

- To setup, promote, establish, organise and facilitate or deliver group(s) and ensure that all attending are supported to fully engage in the session. 
- To recruit and role manage volunteers that the volunteers have clarity about their roles and undertake appropriate training. 
- To be receptive to the views and feedback of service users during development of the group and when seeking to plan, develop and design future groups, taking into account the individual needs of members of the group 
- To assist the service users to feel welcome and to understand the aims and benefit of the group(s), and ensure all new attendees are provided with information about the group 
- Proactively support an inclusive and welcoming working environment where all colleagues and volunteers and people we support feel able to be themselves. 

About you

We are looking for a compassionate, supportive person with a good understanding of dementia and how it impacts both the person with the diagnosis and the carer. Our role requires excellent communication skills to engage people in group activities, ensuring the person with dementia can fully participate as well as the carer.

- Understanding the importance of volunteers in group services is essential, plus the ability to role manage volunteers to support them in their role.
- Good knowledge of dementia and an understanding of the needs of people with dementia and their carers
- Experience of co-ordinating volunteers
- Have excellent computer skills are required to facilitate virtual groups, and to complete accurate records on the computer system.
- Have the ability to travel independently to the locations the service covers.
