As Digital Fundraising Executive, you will manage specific digital campaigns to drive supporter acquisition, engagement, retention, and income. You will play an important role in ensuring we provide the best possible experiences for supporters online, and that the online content and journeys are as good as they can be.

Managing specific digital fundraising projects, working with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure requirements are met, projects are delivered on time and on budget, and targets are achieved.

• Project Management: Oversee digital fundraising projects, ensuring they meet requirements, stay within budget, and hit targets.
• Digital Integration: Enhance offline campaigns with digital content and messaging in collaboration with fundraising teams.
• Email Campaigns: Manage the full cycle of email campaigns, from planning to analysis and feedback.
• Supporter Onboarding: Create welcoming experiences for new sign-ups to foster loyalty.
• Strategic Development: Work with the Digital Manager to grow international fundraising through various digital channels.
• Performance Monitoring: Keep track of fundraising activities, update plans, and implement optimisations as needed.
• Testing and Optimisation: Assist in A/B and multivariate testing to improve digital fundraising efforts.
• Global Efficiency: Ensure campaign activities are efficient and optimised internationally.
• Collaborative Projects: Support the Digital Managers and Head of Digital Fundraising with additional projects.

As the Digital Fundraising Executive, you will be responsible for managing projects to maximise income, plus supporter recruitment, engagement, and retention, through digital channels. Their work will include email, search, display and paid social campaigns across one or more countries where Sightsavers fundraises. Working with colleagues across fundraising and beyond to ensure digital support for the relevant campaigns is effective and optimised.

Required Skills

Essential:

• Proven experience in managing digital fundraising projects with timely delivery, adherence to briefs and budgets, and effective results reporting.
• Knowledge and experience in key digital marketing or fundraising disciplines, including CMS, email platforms, social media, search and display advertising, and GA4.
• Excellent writing skills with a background in fundraising copywriting.
• Competence in data analysis, reporting setup, and tracking progress against KPIs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Project management skills involving coordination with multiple teams and external agencies to achieve organisational goals.

Desirable:

• Experience in international fundraising.
• Understanding of various individual-giving fundraising disciplines, such as mailings, inserts, and TV advertising.
• Experience in orchestrating virtual mass participation events.
• Strong editing and proofreading abilities.
• Research skills to identify new digital and fundraising opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

· Identify and maximise opportunities to raise funds from companies, trusts, foundations, and other funding bodies.

Churches Conservation Trust works with communities to look after 357 historic churches, over two million visitors annually and hundreds of events both private and public. These ancient, listed sites are among the most beautiful locations in England.

You’ll be visiting sites in your patch regularly, encouraging new supporters, holding local meetings, and raising funds to meet each building’s unique needs. Sharing progress through a growing church plan for each of the 22 churches in your area, you’ll ensure these buildings thrive as beautifully maintained visitor attractions, as venues for events and as central parts of village, town or city life.

Main purpose of the role

Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, this post will lead on the development and delivery of Thrive’s community and public fundraising whilst working collaboratively with the rest of fundraising team to maximise and develop opportunities over various income streams.

This important role will represent FareShare Sussex & Surrey engaging with corporate partners and key stakeholders such as council leaders, politicians and dignitaries across the region. 

Using your experience in engagement and relationship management you will work to consolidate existing partnerships and seek new opportunities across Sussex & Surrey, working to build strong relationships locally and encourage partnership, donations, sponsorships and corporate volunteering. The development team has an ambitious target of £1 million to raise, through various streams including corporate partnerships, individual giving, trust applications and other fundraising activities each year. The role will manage the corporate income stream and requires collaboration with all income generation to ensure effective management and stewardship of all partners.

You will develop an exciting donor journey which engages and encourages support from businesses and key stakeholders. Working with high-value supporters to maintain a good relationship with the organisation and fostering new partnerships. 

You will also work alongside our food Supply Manager to help provide a holistic partnership with our suppliers, encouraging them to support our work across the ESG / CSR spectrum.

Duties and responsibilities  

Business Development and Relationship Management 

• Act as main point of contact for existing corporate partners and stakeholders

• Build strong relationships through a stewardship programme to engage with partners in a variety of ways on a regular basis

• To provide the highest quality supporter care, working in partnership with the business to engage with its staff, maximising fundraising and retain support for the long term

• Support with engaging FareShare national partners where required

• Capture feedback from businesses to adapt our propositions

• Engage with with external stakeholders to develop effective activity plans, with clear objectives and outcomes to engage with new and existing corporate partners and other stakeholders

New Business

• Work closely with the Development Team to identify new business opportunities (including charity of the year partnerships) and to develop new relationships with stakeholders across Sussex and Surrey

• To research and approach companies to maximise fundraising opportunities,Develop and promote sponsorship opportunities and corporate partnership offerings

• Create engaging proposition presentations to approach new businesses engaging with them and s other such stakeholders regularly, hosting visits and attending meetings where necessary

Reporting and Monitoring

• Provide regular reporting for trustees and the Development Team

• To monitor and evaluate all aspects of the partnership, reporting on income and engagement. 

• Regular indepth bespoke reporting for our funding partner

• Work with the Head of Development on creating forecasts and budgets

• Ensuring records are maintained through our CRM system, Donorfy

• Adhere to data protection regulation and have an understanding of the Fundraising Regulator guidelines

Qualifications and/or Experience- Essential Criteria

• A level education or equivalent

• Experience of Managing accounts or customers

• Experience of working in sales

• Experience of managing dignitaries or high-value individuals

• Experience of working in  a fundraising or partnerships role

Skills, Abilities and Knowledge- Essential Criteria

• Proven ability to build cross functional relationships with a customer service focus

• Confident networking and public speaking 

• Excellent attention to detail, comfortable using your own initiative, managing priorities and workload

• Problem solving and decision making skills, solution focussed with the ability to support decisions using data and analysis

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to confidently present to stakeholders in person or online

• IT literacy including use of Google applications

Desirable Criteria

• Track record of using selling and negotiation skills with professionalism and integrity to achieve desired outcomes and targets.

Circumstances:Essential Criteria

• Willing and available to work outside normal working hours occasionally if required

• Be flexible about your working arrangements as the role will involve travel around the region.

• Satisfactory DBS check.

Desirable Criteria

• Have a valid driver’s licence for the UK, access to your own car and undertake extensive travel across your region

As the Trust and Grants Manager, you will be responsible for generating income from trusts and grants. Based within the Development Team you will look to identify funding opportunities to secure funds to ensure the Hospice successfully achieves its objectives and development plan. With experience of writing bid writing, trust applications and reporting you will have excellent attention to detail and effectively manage deadlines. We are looking for an excellent team player and communicator who is ambitious and solution focussed and has the energy and passion to drive forward our aspirations and operational goals.

ABOUT BLACK ROOTZ

Black Rootz is a multigenerational growing project providing opportunities for Black and racially minoritised people to grow food for themselves, their families and their communities. Black Rootz was established in 2019 by a collective of Black growers in Haringey who recognised the need to organise to challenge the deep inequalities in the growing and food systems. Over the past 5 years, Black Rootz has developed a holistic practice for Black and racially minoritised communities incorporating intergenerational knowledge transfer, increased access to land and food sovereignty, regenerative environmental practices and reduced food inequality.

Black Rootz has been incubated as a project within The Ubele Initiative since 2019. As an established name in the growing community, it is now building towards an independent future.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Project Manager is a new role that will provide hands on management capacity to Black Rootz. The role will bring experience and energy to support the delivery and continued development of the project’s core activities; the Community Growing Programme and a new workshop series. The Project Manager will take on a management position and, with support from Ubele, help the project to navigate decisions that will enable Black Rootz to achieve its overall social, environmental, and operational ambitions. 

The successful candidate will be central in Black Rootz’ journey towards a more independent and sustainable future. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with the complexity andholistic nature of Black Rootz and will be committed to its values. As a small team, the Project Manager will be as comfortable making plans and big decisions as they are rolling their sleeves up and being hands on to support the team. While this is a fixed-term contract, we expect the role to be extended and grow over time.
