We have an exciting opportunity for a Supporter Relations Officer to join our team, based at one of our 21 rehoming centres.

The role of the Supporter Relations Officer (SRO) is to promote the work of Dogs Trust to key audience groups in their catchment area and to support them accordingly. They provide a vital link to the community, stewarding supporters wherever they may be on their Dogs Trust journey. This is done by handling local supporter legacy and Canine Care Card enquiries, as well as in memory donations.

The SRO spends time in the community, visiting local businesses and people, as well as organising community talks to relevant audience groups. They organise supporter events and tours at the rehoming centres throughout the year and are also part of the team organising and attending events with the Dogs Trust Village.

As the role is primarily customer-facing, the SRO is based at the rehoming centre. However, they spend a portion of their time in local communities. This role also involves frequent travel, both locally and across the UK, including some overnight stays, as well as weekend and evening work. A full UK manual driving licence is essential.

The successful candidate will have experience in a public facing role and a passion and commitment to the work and aims of Dogs Trust. They will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to develop and prioritise their own workload, working well under pressure and to deadlines.

Following the success of the new NOAH Enterprise store in Hitchin, the Senior Store Manager will manage a new NOAH Enterprise flagship store and maximise profits by ensuring exceptional customer service standards, correct pricing, stock and window displays and the management of volunteers. They will also act as retail sales supervisor for 4 other NOAH stores and train staff and volunteers in consistent best practice.

Key responsibilities

* Customer Experience and Service: Welcome customers warmly, maintain an inviting atmosphere, and train and oversee retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
* Visual Merchandising and Operations: Maintain correct pricing, sizing, and stock displays. Ensure high standards of visual presentation and cleanliness in all areas.
* Team Management and Motivation: Set and communicate targets to shop teams, motivating them to achieve goals. Conduct regular floor walks to maintain standards and provide feedback.
* Promotions and Sales: Implement promotions in alignment with the guidance of the Retail Operations Manager. Actively promote Gift Aid and achieve conversion targets.
* Back of House Management: Manage and control stock effectively. Recruit and manage volunteers, collaborating with the Marketing Manager for recruitment materials. Maintain compliance with cash handling, security, health, and safety procedures and provide regular reporting to the Retail Operations Manager.

The Senior Shop Manager will have a minimum of three years' experience managing a charity or clothing retail store. The successful post holder will have experience in cybertil systems, an understanding of charity retail and solid customer service experience. You will have experience successfully managing staff and volunteers and demonstrate understanding and respect for NOAH Enterprise's values of Care, Compassion, and Commitment. The ideal candidate would have some knowledge and understanding of Fundraising and Marketing.

The role will be based in Hertfordshire where the new flagship store will be opening (exact location TBC). The successful post holder will need to take a flexible approach to working hours (within the scope of the agreed working week) and will need to work evenings and weekends on occasion. There is a TOIL policy in place for any additional hours worked. Occasional travel will be required for meetings, staff days and training. You will have a full driving license and access to your own transport. All travel expenses for work will be covered.

The role is largely responsible for delivery of 1MM Mentoring Programmes. This includes partnership development, matching mentors/mentees, and oversight of mentoring relationships. 1MM Regional Manager for Programme Delivery’s main tasks include:

• Helping 1MM to scale by helping establish over 150 new, high quality mentoring matches each quarter. (A match means that the mentor and the mentee have completed 1MM’s training and have had their first meeting)

• Meeting all quality assurance KPIs.

• Maximising conversion, retention, and mitigate drop-off

• Ongoing support for key stakeholder partners, including Youth Partners, and maintaining strong relationships.

• Securing at least one new partner per quarter.

• Becoming familiar with the 1MM Platform, using it comfortably for ongoing administration and providing support to users.

• Providing regular reports on progress related to the role.

• Potential for line-management responsibilities as the team grows.

Terms and Conditions: This is a full time role offered in London, for 6 months (continuing subject to funding). This is a hybrid role with two days working at home, two days in the London office, and one day where it is up to you.

Remuneration and benefits: Salary bracket of £29,000 per annum plus London Weighting (pro rata), up to 6.5% employer pension contribution and 25 days holiday per year (pro rata).  We also offer monthly team Learning and Development training sessions, and 15 hours volunteering allowance per year.

Location: 2wish currently offers a form of hybrid working and this will continue for the foreseeable future. This post is predominantly home based, with regular travel across the area you reside in and some travel to our Head Office in South Wales

2wish exists to provide support to anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under.

Aims:

• Ensure every Emergency Department and Critical Care unit has a suitable bereavement suite
• Ensure that bereavement boxes are available at each of these hospitals
• Ensure that immediate bereavement support is available for all affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide a professional counselling service and other therapies for those affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide support to individuals who witness the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide support and training to professionals from any sector who may be affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• To advocate and campaign on behalf of suddenly bereaved families

Context of role:

2wish supports anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under. We are a largely self-funded charity providing support across Wales and more recently, in the bordering counties with England. Our support team works very closely with our fundraising team to increase income but also to raise awareness of the work of 2wish.

This is a unique opportunity for two individuals to raise awareness of the charity, building it’s profile and engaging communities across the English counties that border Wales. It will involve helping to organise fundraising events, working with volunteers and encouraging community fundraising opportunities.

Main duties:

• To help raise awareness of 2wish and the work we do in England
• To work alongside the support team in England, Phase I and to build on the reputation of 2wish
• Research, approach and engage community groups and local supporters using mechanisms for engaging their support to develop additional sources of income
• To liaise with the public in England, Phase I who are fundraising for 2wish
• To support the delivery of community and corporate events, and monitor the income raised
• To attend community and networking events where necessary
• To actively participate in and collaborate on financial planning for England, Phase I as a business unit during regular fundraising meetings

Background Information

The Weir Link was established to replace what was a derelict laundry and community room with a new purpose-built building which opened on the Weir Estate in June 2010. The charity’s principal aim is to provide educational, training and social opportunities that ‘bring the community together’ from all areas and backgrounds across the streets and estates within the local area.

To date the building has been used as the base for a Children’s Centre, Nursery (currently operated by London Early Years Foundation (Leyf)), a Volunteer Project as well as a range of other Fun Days, coffee mornings, community meetings and social get togethers. In addition to the nursery, which occupies the largest rooms of the building, there are additionally two office spaces and a meeting room available for community use. 

We currently run a range of weekly after-school activities, including a homework club, two stay-and-play sessions, an arts and crafts club and a Pilates class. We also facilitate other community activities, including yoga classes, ante-natal classes and local residents’ meetings.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a range of skills and experience as follows;-

1. Experience in business development and identifying potential development opportunities with other partners and organisations.

2. Experience fundraising and researching and applying for grants and funding opportunities.

3. Demonstrable success in project management, including experience of marketing and communications (both online and offline), as well as effective reporting and evaluation.

4. Experience in community research with a wide range of individuals and community groups, including through the organisation of community events

We are looking for a motivated, organised and reliable individual who is happy to take on these responsibilities while working closely alongside others in our small team.  Above all you will be flexible, resourceful, efficient and committed to contributing in a meaningful way to our local community.  As with all small organisations, sometimes we have to go above and beyond what is expected on a daily basis, but in return we can offer greater flexibility than other larger organisations.

This is a part-time, maternity leave role for 12 months in the first instance. We are able to offer a flexible working pattern, which would comprise of 15 hours per week across three days a week. The hours can be between 9.30 and 4pm every day, with the possibility of hybrid working (combining office-based and remote working) during the school holidays.

This role would suit a parent or carer who would like their hours to work around the school day and have flexibility during school holidays.

• Completed the migration of supporter data to Beacon CRM, working closely with the Project Manager: Director’s Office to ensure that data is managed in the most effective way to aid relationship management and income generation going forward

Key responsibilities:
CRM Administration & Finance Processes

• Maintain and regularly update the CRM system by logging all applications made and pending, prospects, funding received, reporting deadlines, reports, thank you letters and all other supporter correspondence

About the role

This role is being offered at a minimum of 14 hours per week and a maximum of 21 hours per week, to be worked during office hours Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm

You will work closely with colleagues across the charity, learning about the different services we provide to both animals and pet owners and shaping projects for funding from your findings.

About the organisation

The Environment Investigation Agency investigate and campaign against environmental crime and abuse. Their undercover investigations expose transnational wildlife crime, with a focus on elephants and tigers, and forest crimes such as illegal logging and deforestation for cash crops like palm oil. The EIA work to safeguard global marine ecosystems by addressing the threats posed by plastic pollution, bycatch and commercial exploitation of whales, dolphins and porpoises. The Role

The fundraising team at EIA, is responsible for raising income across trusts and statutory funders, as well as raising funds from individuals. The income raised from public fundraising has increased in recent years and they are investing in this area to further increase unrestricted income so that we can conduct even more investigative and campaigning work to protect our natural world.

It is an exciting time to join EIA, as we embark on a new organisational strategy and a new fundraising strategy. Responsibilities:
