ABOUT THE ROLE:
As our first in-house resourcing specialist, you'll lead on recruitment, talent management and workforce planning across our expanding, multi-site organisation. You'll also advise on managers on retention and succession planning, working with them to develop strategies to motivate and retain our staff.
You’ll have the chance to really make your mark. From organising open days, attending careers fairs, creating talent pools, harmonising our job descriptions, writing advert and web copy - you'll be the engine that brings engaged, committed staff to our Charity.

LOCATION AND TRANSPORT: You’ll be based mainly in our Hatfield offices but with regular travel to Herts, Beds & Bucks. We’re happy to support home-working for two days per week, perhaps three. You need access to your own vehicle with business insurance (usually a cheap add-on from your insurer).
HOURS: You’ll work 37.5 days per week Monday to Friday. We can consider 30 hours per week (across at least four days) if you would like to work part-time.
ABOUT YOU: We're open-minded about sector, so you may come from a private, public, retail, corporate etc background. What we do need is:
- A passion for making things happen and stories of successes to prove it.
- Evidence of solid business-partnering experience in recruitment, workforce planning and talent management (this could be a generalist HR role but we are open-minded).
- The ability to work on lots of things at once and keep all the plates spinning!
- Strong writing and technical skills, including proficient use of Excel, plus excellent English writing and drafting skills.
- Data protection and basic employment law knowledge (relating to good recruitment practice, e.g. avoiding unlawful discrimination).
- Commitment to equality, equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging in all aspects of resourcing.

In this role you will be instrumental in enhancing the communication capabilities of our global programs and local partners. The role

Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the implementation of the Unloc London Strategy

Working in partnership with the Operations Manager to ensure the delivery of the Unloc London strategy. This includes;

Building new relationships with local schools and colleges.

Facilitating a free to access enterprise event for local schools in the borough of Westminster.

About the role
As Senior Health Officer: Knowledge Management and Communication, you will be responsible for the knowledge management and MEAL functions for the health team. This will include collection, collation and dissemination of learning and evidence from across key country and donor markets. You will also be responsible for the dissemination and communication through various platforms, social media outlets. Within this role you will play a key role in highlighting both internally and externally the health team's achievements and keep the Movement updated on the impact they have had both in the UK and globally, while also reporting on all active grants and partnerships. In this role, you will:

Role Summary

Income recovery you will be responsible for recovery of accommodation charges from beginning to the end of the process.
Tenancy Support

- You will provide training and induction support to new starters, so they understand their role around housing management and tenancy creation including dual visits to provide additional training where issues are highlighted, or new staff need it.
- Supporting and advising on less complex anti-social behaviour to promote prevention and early intervention, and the correct recording and monitoring of cases.
Estate Management/Property Standards
- Though the Occupancy Sustainment Programme (or similar) deliver training to local teams’ duties on property standards including documentation and recording in systems, to include reporting a repair, completing monthly fire and health and safety checks and support they need to provide around gas compliance.
