About the Team:
The WaterAid Programme Funding and Partnerships Team has been tasked with leading WaterAid UK's ambitious new strategy to grow the size of its programmes through restricted income. It is expected that this growth will primarily come from institutional partnerships with some of the world's leading bilateral and multilateral development agencies, including FCDO, USAID and GAC.a
About the Role:
As the Bid Manager in the Bid Management Team, you will support the development of winning proposals to deliver strong growth in our restricted funding pipeline.
In this role, you will work with key stakeholders, including staff in Country Programmes, Finance Teams, Regional Funding Managers and external partners to develop high-quality bids for opportunities with institutional and non-institutional donors that act like institutions. This includes bilateral and multilateral donors (e.g. FCDO, GAC, USAID, EU, World Bank), as well as some work with trusts and foundations.
You'll also:
- Support the project design process
- Work with country finance teams to build and review project budgets that reflect the technical design
- Negotiate WaterAid's scope of work and budget with external partners
- Facilitate After Action Reviews to ensure lessons are captured
- Design and deliver training to strengthen capacity of colleagues in Country Programmes and regional teams in proposal development
About You:
- Experience developing winning proposals to a range of institutional and non-institutional funders, ideally for development projects in low-income countries
- Good understanding of proposal management best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to negotiate and influence
- Experience analysing financial data and developing proposal budgets
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy

We're looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Operations Lead who will ensure the smooth running of CCX day-to-day operations. As lead of the Operations Team, you will oversee the finance, HR, coordination of data, IT applications and integration, and corporate governance functions.
The Gregory Centre for Church Multiplication (CCX) helps the Church make disciples in new and renewed ways. We work with willing partners across the Church to catalyse multiplication, equipping leaders through adaptive learning pathways.

CCX’s organisational structure is a hybrid management model, blending elements of both functional and project-based structures. Project teams are formed to address specific initiatives, tasks, or delivery projects. These teams are cross-functional, comprising individuals from different specialties, typically with a project manager working under the direction of a CCX lead. The two core teams of Operations and Media operate as shared services across the organisation.
Under the direction of the Bishop of Islington, a suffragan bishop of the London Diocese, CCX supports church planting and church growth work in London, nationally and beyond.
Collaboration and partnership will be key features of this role, working closely with the Bishop, Chief of Staff, and Team Leads. This role has a strong focus on agile and efficient systems development and improvement, resource optimisation and stakeholder engagement.
They are expected to perform duties with a high degree of independence, initiative, and judgement, including knowing when to resolve issues and challenges directly and when to escalate.
Key Duties and Accountabilities include:
● Ensure the deliverables of the CCX Operations Team are met in accordance with organizational goals and objectives.
● Establish and maintain agile operational structures and systems necessary for CCX's missions, including but not limited to finance, people management, procurement, IT and data management, business applications, corporate governance, and facilities management.
● Manage and supervise staff or contractors within the operations team to ensure effective performance, including roles such as Business Applications Manager, Finance and Office Manager, Data and HR Coordinator.
● Develop, implement, and maintain corporate policies, strategies, and procedures pertaining to finance, human resources, IT, data management, safeguarding, and governance.
● Ensure the capacity and capability to provide support services to CCX team and stakeholders, such as dioceses, church leaders, church planters, TEIs, and Together partners, by recruiting and retaining skilled personnel and providing necessary resources.

As Sustainable Finance Policy Advisor, you will help design creative policy solutions to some of the world’s most difficult and pressing challenges. Your work will influence government, central banks, regulatory authorities and the finance sector itself to respond to climate change and nature loss, and deliver the transition to a net zero economy. Politically aware, you will possess a strong understanding of how policy is influenced, both inside and outside Government as well as how policy and politics interact and how one can be used to influence the other. We are looking for Senior Supporter Acquisition Manager to join our Fundraising directorate and lead a brilliant team to develop and implement a range of supporter acquisition marketing programmes and to achieve the growth ambitions of our Fundraising strategy.
The Supporter Acquisition team is responsible for all marketing to attract new supporters across a large portfolio of appeals/products and media. The role involves managing an experienced team of two managers and a co-ordinator, and leading relationships with a number of suppliers. Location
The successful candidate will be required to live within a commutable distance to Bradford City Centre. They’re a keen promoter of agile working and encourage the use of working from home, as long as they meet their customer’s needs.

Salary
The spot salary for this post is £44,559 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.

About the role
A key member of WVUK’s Humanitarian & International Programmes (HIP) management team, you’ll lead the unit that’s responsible for acquiring around £35m of institutional donor funding (grants & contracts) each year, as well as corporate and philanthropic proposal development on behalf of the Strategic Partnership Directorate. Defining and ensuring a consistent approach to delivering quality and timely submissions that are coordinated and informed with input from all relevant stakeholders will be important too, as will ensuring the available capacity and capability of a team to lead submission development. About you
To succeed, you’ll need proven experience of developing and maintaining relations with institutional donors, analysing their funding requirements and shifting worldviews (particularly DFID/FCDO, EU/ECHO), and working with, managing, and developing relationships with consortium partners. You’ll also need field experience of working in different cultures and religious contexts. Proactive and creative in improving existing processes and developing new ones to improve efficiency and effectiveness, you’re adept at knowledge management within a demanding team environment and used to line managing and training, mentoring or capacity building a team.
You’re an excellent project manager too - someone who’s comfortable working on complex multiple tasks and prioritising to meet deadlines. Expertise in a specific technical area - e.g., child protection, health, nutrition, livelihoods, social accountability, resilience or economic development, would also be useful, as would working knowledge of a second language. About the role
As Financial Accountant, you will support the Head of Finance with the financial management of the charity.
You will have ownership of the balance sheet and assist in the preparation of the statutory accounts, management accounts, general ledger reconciliation and control activities as well as assisting with month end responsibilities.
You will lead and manage the Accounts Receivable and Payables team of 2 as well supporting the Head of Finance to review and improve the current financial controls, systems and processes to drive an increase in efficiency.

Our Finance Department works as a team of experts to safeguard resources and support decision making across Shelter. We strive to ensure Shelter is financially sustainable in order to achieve our vision of a home for everyone. This particular role sits within the Financial Planning and Analysis team. We support the charity through financial reporting, analysis, and expert advice, and enable collaboration to support managers in making effective business decisions.
About the role
Joining a finance team that collaborates and communicates effectively to help us deliver our mission and vision, making vital business decisions that are driven by expert knowledge and financial acumen will be key to your success here. As part of the role, you’ll engage regularly with our Assistant Directors and their leadership teams to ensure that financial results and key messages are shared and you’ll support stakeholders in engaging with fully available financial insight and reporting. JOB DESCRIPTION
Strategy and Operations
1. Develop, implement, and lead execution of the charity's annual operational plan and 3-year strategic plan.
2. Identify appropriate level of staffing, volunteering, ensuring that all staff and volunteers are appropriately interviewed, vetted, inducted, trained, developed, and supported to deliver against their objectives.
3. Ensure appropriate upkeep, security, and management of the charity’s premises, including all relevant contracts and payments.
4. Ensure that the charity’s IT systems are fit for purpose and compliant with relevant law.
People
5. Line management of seven staff members, and responsibility for staff and team development, cohesion and appraisals.
6. Recruit and support social club facilitators and appropriate consultants to provide additional resource to the charity as required.
7. Lead staff member for safeguarding, liaising directly with Hammersmith and Fulham Adult Social Care.
8. Ensure appropriate mechanisms and safeguards are in place to support up to 100 regular volunteers, and up to 100 additional corporate/student volunteers.

Finance and Fundraising
10. Develop, implement, and lead charity’s financial and fundraising planning and management, ensuring that the charity operates at least at break-even, ideally with a small surplus.
11. Ensure that the charity has a diverse range of income across various streams, inclusive of (but not limited to) public sector, trusts and foundations, corporate income, events, and online giving.
12. Ensure that the charity is receiving value for money with all expenditure, ensuring contract review on a timely basis as appropriate.
13. Ensure appropriate cashflow projections so that expenditure does not exceed income in any one year unless pre-agreed with trustees.
