Summary of the role:

The HR Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day HR operations, focusing on delivering high-quality HR services. The role oversees employee relations, employee experience, learning and development, reward, resourcing, talent management, people analytics, EDI, wellbeing and payroll. The HR Manager will ensure the effective execution of HR processes and the maintenance of HR good practices across Muslim Aid, with a specific focus on using HR metrics to inform strategic decisions.

About the Role:

1. Oversee and manage all aspects of HR operations, ensuring compliance with legal and organisational policies.
2. Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they receive all necessary training and introductions to Muslim Aid policies.
3. Manage the recruitment process from job posting to hiring, ensuring a smooth and efficient candidate experience.
4. Respond promptly and effectively to HR-related inquiries from employees and management.
5. Conduct training sessions to educate employees and managers on HR policies and best practices.
6. Oversee the performance review process and ensure it is conducted fairly and consistently across all departments.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

The work we do makes a real difference to the lives of local people and we support over 1000 patients at any one time between our Inpatient Unit and Community teams. The majority of this care is funded by the support given to us by our local community.

Being Head of Fundraising at Heart of Kent Hospice

As Head of Fundraising, you’ll be heading up an incredible team of 6 dedicated fundraising staff who, along with the support of our volunteers, work tirelessly to support our Hospice. Their dedication to, and care for, our supporters generates over £1.8 million annually, which is vital for funding our care.

This role is a hands-on, doing role, responsible for the day-to-day running of the fundraising function at the Hospice. The fundraising portfolio is both varied and diverse and the Head of Fundraising will be in amongst the team, overseeing the delivery and focusing on achieving and exceeding budget.

Working with the Communications Team you’ll support the team deliver integrated fundraising activity and develop outstanding supporter experiences and onward journeys.

Working with the Deputy Director of Fundraising and Communications you will support the development and oversee the delivery of a truly diverse fundraising portfolio that meets the needs of our changing community and their future interests and needs.

The fundraising team will be stewarding our incredible supporters and donors across fundraising events, community fundraising, challenge events, Corporate, In memory and regular giving portfolios.

Experience at a senior level in managing a varied and innovative fundraising environment, with a £1 million+ turnover, is crucial. About the team

Kinship is in the third year of delivering the first national peer support service for kinship carers in England. We have created 145 peer support groups and supported and trained kinship carers to create and lead their groups in a way which meets their needs.

With a new contract from the Department for Education, we’re now entering a new phase of our service with a focus on:

• creating 90 new sustainable peer support groups in areas of most need over 21 months;
• sustaining and developing the current 145 existing groups; and
• providing support and help to build a sustainable and welcoming community for all peer support groups across England.

This role will mobilise, develop and innovate our existing offer into a new Peer Support Hub with the focus on supporting sustainability and building resilience of peer support groups and their leaders. You will support and build our Kinship peer support community.

You’ll work with group leaders to develop a central hub of accessible and useful resources to help them to sustain their groups, working with colleagues right across Kinship to promote consistent access to services and activities (training, programmes, information, advice and campaigns), building a joined-up user experience.

About the role

The role of the Peer Support Hub Lead is to oversee and take accountability for sustaining kinship peer support groups across England in priority areas as part of a new hub and spoke delivery model.

In this context, your team is the centralised ‘hub’ of the service, delivering an exciting programme of training, speakers, toolkits and resources to help peer support group leaders develop, build and sustain their group well.

Your national team of three will make sure groups feel connected and supported, learn from each other and build a powerful and resilient peer community.

The type of person we’re looking for:

Dynamic and people-centred, this role is about developing a supportive community of peer support groups nationally. You’ll understand the power of relationships and be an excellent communicator. You’ll understand how communities hold their own power and your team will help unlock that. Innovation is key to the success of the Hub and you’ll ensure you’re using best practice and learning to develop it.

An excellent communicator, you’ll develop external partnerships to support group sustainability. You’ll ensure through the National Peer Support Connector role that peer communities are connected and engaging with the new National Kinship Care Ambassador.

You’ll be comfortable with using digital technology and tools to build communities and develop resources.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ongoing innovation of the Hub service, embedding best practice, digital innovation and learning to develop a thriving peer community.

• Develop, deliver and take accountability including strategic oversight for an annual operational plan for the peer support hub.

• Work with Head of Marketing to develop an integrated promotional plan.

• Work with Head of Network Development to coordinate national partnerships.

Essential requirements include:

• Experience in delivering a high-profile national service or programme. This includes overseeing delivery, operational planning, monitoring, budgeting, managing delivery, meeting KPIs, stakeholder engagement and reporting to funders.

• Experience of effective budget management.

• Experience working in a role focused on one or more of the following areas; communications (including digital communications) or marketing.

• Significant experience of developing and delivering successful community engagement strategies.

We are looking for a People Operations Manager to join the National Theatre People Team.

The purpose of the role

The People Operations Manager will lead and manage the People Operations function and be responsible for the design, improvement and delivery of all people processes and experiences including transactional HR processes, on-boarding.  A key part of the role is the continued development and delivery of HR functionality of NT People, the NT’s workforce system.  You will ensure a high level of customer service and work closely with the Payroll Team.

You will also lead on data and reporting both internally and externally.  You will develop the provision of accessible and understandable HR related data to the People team and wider organisation.

• CIPD Level 5 Diploma qualification or equivalent experience.

Employer partnerships at Unifrog

Unifrog provides employers with a comprehensive talent attraction and development offering, with a holistic approach to our partnerships. The Employer Partnerships team brings local and international employers closer to our Unifrog schools, students and teachers. We focus on three key areas:

• Building brand awareness

The role and your key responsibilities

As Employer Partnerships Manager, your role is to grow our employer partner numbers and support our existing employer partners to get the most out of their partnership with us. A fundamental element of our work with employers is to make sure they’re adding genuine value to our student and teacher community. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Make sales to employers

Working with our New Business Lead and the wider Employer team, you’ll secure and conduct meetings with employers in which you’ll listen to their needs, communicate our mission to them, demonstrate our offering and seek to secure their ongoing subscription.

• Maintain excellent relationships with existing partners and secure their subscriptions

You’ll onboard new partners, conduct regular check-in calls and consultatively support our employer partners to make the most of their partnership with us. It’s crucial that you maintain a sky-high resubscription rate.

• Delivering our existing services for partner employers

As the partnerships manager for your employers, you would be responsible for delivering on the different aspects of the partnership, including:

• Matching campaigns

Support your partners to identify events and opportunities they’re running that will be of interest to students using Unifrog, and work with our Employer Engagement Coordinator to add them to our system.

• Webinars, online fairs and in-person events

These events are another way for our partner employers to interact with our community of students and teachers. From virtual careers fairs, skill development webinars to in-person insights days, we strive for all our events to be useful, impactful and enjoyable for everyone taking part.

• Help develop new ways for our employer partners to add and receive value

The employer offering is continually evolving, and we’re keen to keep adding more ways in which we can add value for students and teachers using the Unifrog platform, and value to our employer partners as well. We have a great opportunity for a Supported Housing Manager to join our Specialist Housing Team on a permanent basis. Based from our offices in Christchurch or Exeter, you’ll lead our teams across the South region, working flexibly between our offices and home.

The Role

You'll lead, manage and motivate a team responsible for providing a range of housing management services to our supported housing residents, working collaboratively with colleagues across our supported housing schemes, our Locality teams, related Customer functions and support services. You will ensure that our supported housing is managed in line with contractual obligations, taking responsibility for financial performance and lettings while regularly identifying service improvements and maintaining high quality data.

• Delivery of a consistent high-quality customer-centric support services, such as allocations, income, and tenancy management
• The operational performance for an area of our supported housing, managing key areas such as health and safety, compliance, finance, customer satisfaction, and lettings
