About the role

Are you an experienced corporate fundraiser with an interest in working in the international development sector? Are you creative, strategic, highly organised, a confident and effective communicator and strong team player? 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager to work closely with the Head of Programme Funding to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. If you are seeking a dynamic and engaging fundraising role which offers you the chance to play a pivotal role within a small but ambitious organisation, then this could be the job for you.

You will be an exemplary relationship builder and have experience in developing multi-faceted corporate partnerships (ideally with experience and success in employee engagement, corporate sponsorship, and/or operational partnerships).

• As directed, manage relationships with funders, ensuring timely reporting that meets their needs. This will include drafting the funder newsletter (bi-monthly) and providing new materials, such as reports, films, audits, etc.

• Draft funding proposals and monitor all deadlines for reporting, planning for the timebound and efficient delivery, and working with team members to ensure the highest quality reports are drafted in good time.

• Organise a monthly meeting with the directors and COO to present opportunities and actions and agree on priorities and approaches to donors.

• Take the lead in preparing government grant applications, liaising with colleagues for information and finessing draft texts.

• Maintain the grant database and ensure it is regularly checked and updated and that leads are followed up.

• Maintain the grants calendar, ensuring you are aware of reporting deadlines and other priority needs well in advance and ensuring no deadlines are missed. The role will take a proactive lead and coordinate as required.

• Assist in delivering events to update existing and attract new funders and ensure appropriate follow-up.

• Assist in crafting presentations to funders and, as required, work with the comms team to develop films or other materials.

About the role:

Reporting to the Director of Finance & Operations, the IT Project Manager will lead the scoping, researching, sourcing, design develop and implementation of several new systems relating to CRM, Case Management, Finance and HR.

The IT project manager will also support the Director of Finance & Operations in managing the relationship with the IT Support contract, providing IT support where necessary and in renewing the IASME (Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises) accreditation.

About You:  You are pro-active, driven to improve processes and ways of working and have good stakeholder management skills and experience. You have the ability to work independently and use initiative. You will have good research and planning skills and are able to remain calm under pressure. You have good organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

You are approachable, positive, flexible and ready to take on a wide range of tasks.

To be successful as the IT Project Manager you will need the below experience and skills: 

You will have previous experience in IT change management with significant experience of overseeing implementation projects, allowing you to hit the ground running. You will have an excellent understanding of computer systems, security and databases to allow you to ensure

an excellent and reliable IT service is provided to all staff on and off site. You will have strong Project, Stakeholder & Programme management skills and significant experience of delivering major business critical projects including the desired benefits and outcome to time, cost and quality, including the management and maintenance of standard project controls and documents.

You will have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience and 

A PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or other industry standard Programme or Project Management qualification. A good knowledge of Microsoft Server technologies, 365 admin level experience across Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online etc. is essential for the role. Your experience will include supporting network devices and concepts, printers, softphones and other business hardware and software.

About the role

You'll take ultimate responsibility for our campaign to achieve Proportional Representation in the House of Commons. You will:

• as leader of the campaign, be primarily responsible for building the popular and political momentum needed to secure this seismic reform;
• as leader of the organisation, be primarily responsible for defining and executing MVM’s strategy, while ensuring its good financial health and legal and regulatory compliance; and
• as leader to our staff and volunteer team, be primarily responsible for providing clarity of direction while ensuring the organisation maintains a collaborative, empowering and inspiring culture.

You will:

• lead the UK campaign for Proportional Representation;
• ensure MVM has a clear external brand, with consistent messages, effective and emotive arguments, and impactful use of evidence;
• be a spokesperson for the organisation on a variety of public platforms including national media and at key MVM events;
• create and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders;
• lead on development of MVM's post-election strategic plan;
• line manage and delegate responsibilities to staff, as appropriate;
• take ultimate responsibility for the good governance of MVM, including but not limited to the organisation’s financial health, legal compliance, and good standing with regulatory bodies;
• with support of relevant MVM staff, to ensure that the Board is supported in performing its governance role;
• support and comply with MVM’s policies active within the organisation pertinent to the role; and
• undertake other related duties as required to assist MVM in meeting its objectives.

About you

• you have a track-record as a successful leader in an organisation of comparable size, or equivalent managerial or director experience;
• you have political or campaigning experience, an understanding of the UK’s democracy sector and an ability to work in a non-partisan, cross-party way;

The Philanthropy & Trusts Lead will steer the capital campaign fundraising strategy for the Fashion Museum, Bath, and its ambitious transformation project to create a major new cultural institution with international significance in the City of Bath.

They will focus on high-net-worth individual donors, trusts and foundations, and public sector sources alongside devising a strategy to convert capital contributors to long-term revenue support post-campaign.  They will also work closely with the fundraising team to devise capital and revenue campaigns to deliver income growth for Bath and North East Somerset’s wider heritage portfolio including the internationally renowned Roman Baths and Victoria Art Gallery.

The role will manage and motivate a small fundraising team to deliver ambitious income growth targets and work collaboratively with Bath Heritage Service’s senior leadership team, trustees of the charities that support the Services, and other key stakeholders.
