The Transformation and Innovation Unit is a small but critical function within the Fundraising and Supporter Engagement Directorate – looking for new and improved ways of raising the charity’s profile and income, ensuring our communications outputs are aligned and optimised, and fostering a culture of innovation and insight-led marketing. The purpose of the Strategic Planner and Integration Lead is to work collaboratively across the organisation to develop and lead a compelling supporter engagement calendar, oversee integrated campaign development, and support the design and delivery of new products, propositions and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

· Work closely with the Supporter Marketing and Public Fundraising Unit to jointly plan how we are going to deliver our strategic priorities on an annual basis and align our resources behind this

· Develop effective processes to review, plan and prioritise cross-organisation activities, events and goals to create and evaluate integrated communications calendars and messaging

· Establish and manage cross-organisational planning documents, aligning and optimising key outputs and campaigns to increase our consistency, efficacy and impact

· Lead the Directorate to understand and assign priority levels across our portfolio of products, campaigns and change initiatives, to enable increased alignment and focus of teams around strategic goals – leading to increased success and impact

· Develop integrated strategies for Plan International UK’s priority campaigns or appeals, as agreed in the planning process and with the Head of Supporter Marketing and Public Fundraising

· Create compelling campaign themes and propositions driven by brand and audience insight

· Develop effective, integrated briefs for marketing and communications output, and work with the Content Team and external suppliers to deliver outstanding creative work that fits the brief and needs of our audiences

· Manage the mobilisation of key working groups in the delivery of an emergency appeal and support the Director of Fundraising and Supporter Engagement to make rapid and clear decisions

· Work alongside the Digital and Data Strategy Team to regularly review and refresh our audience segmentation and strategy

· Establish an audience-centric communications culture, driven by up-to-date insights on our priority audience groups and their behaviours, attitudes and values

· Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify target audiences, trends, and opportunities for integrated marketing campaigns. Utilise insights from market research to inform campaign strategies and messaging

Person Specification:

· Strategic marketing planning experience, developing and leading multi-year customer communication plans, prioritising key initiatives and ensuring integrated campaign delivery across teams

· Significant experience of using data and insights to inform planning, and knowledge of a range of reporting and measurement tools

· Exceptional inter-personal and consultative skills, with experience of working with multiple stakeholders and a proven ability to work collaboratively to influence, negotiate and secure buy-in 

· Knowledge of full campaign process from planning to briefing, creative development and production through to execution and measurement

· Excellent knowledge of audience research, analysis and segmentation tools and processes 

· Ability to multi-task and prioritise under pressure, in a fast paced, dynamic communications environment

· Experience of working in insight, new product development, and proposition development, ideally within the charity sector, and able to demonstrate having made a positive difference for other brand(s) through impactful and effective proposition development

· Strong creative leadership and experience of translating a brand proposition for different channels, executions and campaigns

For a leading charity for girls and young women in the UK, we're recruiting a Financial Controller to join their ambitious, busy, and dynamic Finance and Commercial Team in London. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will manage all day-to-day financial controls and processing and will lead on the year-end audit and statutory reporting process. Whilst providing expert advice on VAT and other taxes, the Financial Controller will also take a lead on strengthening financial controls and systems and will lead and develop a Finance team of 3 staff.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead all day-to-day financial controls and processing for HQ and lead the financial support to stakeholders.
• Lead on annual external Audit across the Group (Charity and Trading Subsidiary) and prepare statutory financial statements - being the main point of contact with the Auditors
• Lead strategic oversight of the cash flow and investments
• Provide first-class advice on all tax matters. Prepare VAT and Corporation Tax returns, maximise Gift Aid, and support HR with payroll taxes
• Manage, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of 3 staff (Financial Operations Lead, Finance Officer and Finance Assistant)
• Partner with the Systems Accountant in the identification and implementation of systems changes and developments

About the role

The Media Manager will be responsible for taking charge of the ITF’s global media strategy. We are looking for an experienced media relations professional who can further enhance and solidify ITF’s reputation as the global voice of transport workers and as an authoritative voice in the transport industry and global trade union movement.

We’re seeking an experienced media relations manager, preferably with international experience and with established media relationships amongst leading international media.

You will be part of team responsible for delivering solidarity and support to local, national and global disputes, building communications that reinforce the critical role transport workers play, developing strategies to support union-led policies on everything from health and safety to sustainability, and raising the volume on the global struggle to advance the rights and equalities of the world’s transport workers.

Your role will be pivotal for securing media coverage that raises awareness of the work and priorities of the ITF internationally across broadcast, print, online media, and trade press.

This hands-on role, will lead on developing, implementing and advancing ITF’s global media relations strategy. The Media Manager will also provide strategic advice and coaching to ITF’s leadership on proactive and reactive media strategies, as well as strategic guidance and support for other members of the ITF’s multi-disciplinary communications team.

About Bookmark

Bookmark began life just over five years ago with a clear mission; they want every child to read. Currently more than one in four children are leaving primary school unable to read well. These children are more likely to drop out of school, experience unemployment, poverty, and poor mental health. About the role

As the Senior Philanthropy Lead at Bookmark, you will work with the Head of Fundraising to manage and grow our philanthropy portfolio within the wider strategy. You will lead a team of three to deliver on the fundraising strategy, line managing both the Philanthropy Manager and Senior Fundraising Executive. Your role will involve proactively researching and identifying new potential Bookmark major donors and working with trustees, staff, and the Partnerships Board to build a robust pipeline of supporters and secure introductions.

You will own and build a portfolio of new major donors through the full donor cycle who give £25,000 or more, ensuring a first-class cultivation and stewardship journey. You will create compelling, relevant, and tailored funding proposals, reports, and collateral to inspire and inform donors, reflecting Bookmark's strong brand. You will lead on the Philanthropy events strategy and program, providing support to the Philanthropy Manager and wider team in delivering income-generating, cultivation, and stewardship events.

In addition, you will work closely with the Corporate Partnerships team to ensure opportunities to maximize income for the fundraising team. You will devise and deliver annual plans, together with associated budgets, in line with the charity's strategic objectives. You will use Salesforce to manage the accurate recording and forecasting of major donor income, enabling efficient reporting and KPI management.

About you

To be successful in this role, you must have a successful track record in high-value fundraising and acquisition, including a proven track record of securing five or six-figure gifts to meet or exceed targets. You must have experience line managing individuals, nurturing their development, and managing their performance to achieve results. Ideally, you will have experience developing and managing a calendar of successful charity events that meet fundraising targets and managing or working with a fundraising board or high-value committee. You should have the skills to influence, motivate and persuade people to donate and experience writing successful, inspiring, emotive, and technically accurate cases for support and proposals tailored to a major donor audience.

You should be experienced in growing and managing a pipeline, planning for your portfolio, and increasing income.

You will also lead on the development of policy outputs including briefings, papers and reports, working with colleagues to build evidence and articulate the Alliance’s work across our membership and with other stakeholders.

The successful candidate will demonstrate considerable professional experience in a comparable policy-focused role and will have a diverse skill set, encompassing critical policy analysis, effective communication of complex policy concepts to diverse audiences and strong project management skills. Policy Manager role and responsibilities 

Overall purpose of role 

WeProtect Global Alliance supports our members to achieve more together than they could alone, through pooling and sharing knowledge and data, solving problems and making a powerful case for change.

The Policy Manager role is pivotal to making a compelling case for action and bringing together experts to generate political commitment, develop policies and practical solutions to make the digital world safe and positive for children, preventing sexual exploitation and abuse and long-term harm. The role will support the vital work of our Global Taskforce, comprised of government members from across the globe. It will require close collaboration with the Communications and Engagement team and other members of the Alliance Secretariat.

Legislative, regulatory and policy work

• Lead on a range of policy projects on key emerging threats and responses to child sexual exploitation and abuse online.
• Analyse national legislation, policies, multilateral initiatives and regulatory approaches to identify trends, best practices, and opportunities for collaboration and policy learning.
• Prepare policy reports, briefs, and proposals, tailored to various audiences, including policymakers, stakeholders, and members, working alongside the Communications and Engagement team.
• Monitor the implementation and impact of policies, regulations, and legislative proposals regarding child sexual exploitation and abuse, including potential challenges in implementing and enforcing regulatory measures.

Anderson Quigley is delighted to be working with Girlguiding to hire for a new role: Digital Futures Programme Lead. We are looking to speak to candidates with a strong leadership skillset, stakeholder management skills, and digital transformation experience. This postholder will manage a team of five and will play a pivotal role in driving Girlguiding’s strategic plans; this individual will be responsible for developing the roadmap and setting the direction for Girlguiding’s Digital Futures Programme.

What are they looking for? 

Essential requirements for this role include:

· Excellent leadership, communication and influencing skills that engender confidence, strong collaboration and partnership – a strong partnership worker and alliance build

· Proven financial expertise including contract negotiation and supplier management, establishing and improving supplier performance standards and managing multi-year and multi million pound budgets

· Strong digital portfolio management skills relating to product and programme lifecycle management

· Strong management skills to develop, support and maintain high performing teams

· Proven track record of the successful designing, communicating and delivery of digital and IT transformation programmes focused on adapting the culture of an organisation and the resulting stakeholder experience

· Senior leadership experience of enterprise IT leadership across digital, data and technology fields, working in complex, matrix stakeholder environments

· In-depth understanding of programme management methods

· Deep knowledge and understanding of technology enterprise architectures including digital technologies, software development, and IT infrastructure

· A practical understanding of diversity and inclusion at work
