The Role:
As Director of Fundraising, Engagement & Communications, you will:
- Steer the implementation of their fundraising strategy and play a leading role in generating income to support StreetGames' Strategy 2025-29

The Transformation and Innovation Unit is a small but critical function within the Fundraising and Supporter Engagement Directorate – looking for new and improved ways of raising the charity’s profile and income, ensuring our communications outputs are aligned and optimised, and fostering a culture of innovation and insight-led marketing. Key Responsibilities:
· Work closely with the Supporter Marketing and Public Fundraising Unit to jointly plan how we are going to deliver our strategic priorities on an annual basis and align our resources behind this
· Develop effective processes to review, plan and prioritise cross-organisation activities, events and goals to create and evaluate integrated communications calendars and messaging
· Establish and manage cross-organisational planning documents, aligning and optimising key outputs and campaigns to increase our consistency, efficacy and impact
· Lead the Directorate to understand and assign priority levels across our portfolio of products, campaigns and change initiatives, to enable increased alignment and focus of teams around strategic goals – leading to increased success and impact
· Develop integrated strategies for Plan International UK’s priority campaigns or appeals, as agreed in the planning process and with the Head of Supporter Marketing and Public Fundraising
· Create compelling campaign themes and propositions driven by brand and audience insight
· Develop effective, integrated briefs for marketing and communications output, and work with the Content Team and external suppliers to deliver outstanding creative work that fits the brief and needs of our audiences
· Manage the mobilisation of key working groups in the delivery of an emergency appeal and support the Director of Fundraising and Supporter Engagement to make rapid and clear decisions

Person Specification:
· Strategic marketing planning experience, developing and leading multi-year customer communication plans, prioritising key initiatives and ensuring integrated campaign delivery across teams
· Significant experience of using data and insights to inform planning, and knowledge of a range of reporting and measurement tools
· Exceptional inter-personal and consultative skills, with experience of working with multiple stakeholders and a proven ability to work collaboratively to influence, negotiate and secure buy-in

For a leading charity for girls and young women in the UK, we're recruiting a Financial Controller to join their ambitious, busy, and dynamic Finance and Commercial Team in London. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will manage all day-to-day financial controls and processing and will lead on the year-end audit and statutory reporting process. Whilst providing expert advice on VAT and other taxes, the Financial Controller will also take a lead on strengthening financial controls and systems and will lead and develop a Finance team of 3 staff.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead all day-to-day financial controls and processing for HQ and lead the financial support to stakeholders.
- Lead on annual external Audit across the Group (Charity and Trading Subsidiary) and prepare statutory financial statements - being the main point of contact with the Auditors
- Lead strategic oversight of the cash flow and investments
- Provide first-class advice on all tax matters. Prepare VAT and Corporation Tax returns, maximise Gift Aid, and support HR with payroll taxes
- Manage, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of 3 staff (Financial Operations Lead, Finance Officer and Finance Assistant)
- Partner with the Systems Accountant in the identification and implementation of systems changes and developments

About the role
The Media Manager will be responsible for taking charge of the ITF’s global media strategy. We are looking for an experienced media relations professional who can further enhance and solidify ITF’s reputation as the global voice of transport workers and as an authoritative voice in the transport industry and global trade union movement.
We’re seeking an experienced media relations manager, preferably with international experience and with established media relationships amongst leading international media.
You will be part of team responsible for delivering solidarity and support to local, national and global disputes, building communications that reinforce the critical role transport workers play, developing strategies to support union-led policies on everything from health and safety to sustainability, and raising the volume on the global struggle to advance the rights and equalities of the world’s transport workers.
Your role will be pivotal for securing media coverage that raises awareness of the work and priorities of the ITF internationally across broadcast, print, online media, and trade press.
This hands-on role, will lead on developing, implementing and advancing ITF’s global media relations strategy. The Media Manager will also provide strategic advice and coaching to ITF’s leadership on proactive and reactive media strategies, as well as strategic guidance and support for other members of the ITF’s multi-disciplinary communications team.

About Bookmark
Bookmark began life just over five years ago with a clear mission; they want every child to read. Currently more than one in four children are leaving primary school unable to read well. These children are more likely to drop out of school, experience unemployment, poverty, and poor mental health. Poor literacy disproportionately impacts children from disadvantaged backgrounds, and Bookmark wants to make sure that all children have access to the reading resources and support they need so they can succeed in school and beyond.
Bookmark are a wonderful organisation with big impact. About the role
As the Senior Philanthropy Lead at Bookmark, you will work with the Head of Fundraising to manage and grow our philanthropy portfolio within the wider strategy. You will lead a team of three to deliver on the fundraising strategy, line managing both the Philanthropy Manager and Senior Fundraising Executive. Your role will involve proactively researching and identifying new potential Bookmark major donors and working with trustees, staff, and the Partnerships Board to build a robust pipeline of supporters and secure introductions.
You will own and build a portfolio of new major donors through the full donor cycle who give £25,000 or more, ensuring a first-class cultivation and stewardship journey. You will create compelling, relevant, and tailored funding proposals, reports, and collateral to inspire and inform donors, reflecting Bookmark's strong brand. You will lead on the Philanthropy events strategy and program, providing support to the Philanthropy Manager and wider team in delivering income-generating, cultivation, and stewardship events.
In addition, you will work closely with the Corporate Partnerships team to ensure opportunities to maximize income for the fundraising team. You will devise and deliver annual plans, together with associated budgets, in line with the charity's strategic objectives. You will use Salesforce to manage the accurate recording and forecasting of major donor income, enabling efficient reporting and KPI management.
About you
To be successful in this role, you must have a successful track record in high-value fundraising and acquisition, including a proven track record of securing five or six-figure gifts to meet or exceed targets. You must have experience line managing individuals, nurturing their development, and managing their performance to achieve results. Ideally, you will have experience developing and managing a calendar of successful charity events that meet fundraising targets and managing or working with a fundraising board or high-value committee. You should have the skills to influence, motivate and persuade people to donate and experience writing successful, inspiring, emotive, and technically accurate cases for support and proposals tailored to a major donor audience.
You should be experienced in growing and managing a pipeline, planning for your portfolio, and increasing income.

The Policy Manager role is pivotal to making a compelling case for action and bringing together experts to generate political commitment, develop policies and practical solutions to make the digital world safe and positive for children, preventing sexual exploitation and abuse and long-term harm. The role will support the vital work of our Global Taskforce, comprised of government members from across the globe. It will require close collaboration with the Communications and Engagement team and other members of the Alliance Secretariat.
Legislative, regulatory and policy work
- Lead on a range of policy projects on key emerging threats and responses to child sexual exploitation and abuse online.
- Analyse national legislation, policies, multilateral initiatives and regulatory approaches to identify trends, best practices, and opportunities for collaboration and policy learning.
- Prepare policy reports, briefs, and proposals, tailored to various audiences, including policymakers, stakeholders, and members, working alongside the Communications and Engagement team.
- Monitor the implementation and impact of policies, regulations, and legislative proposals regarding child sexual exploitation and abuse, including potential challenges in implementing and enforcing regulatory measures.
- Develop and evaluate policy options and recommendations based on evidence, best practice, and stakeholder input, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and member priorities.
- Support the drafting of responses to consultations, policy briefings, and other public policy initiatives, including relevant third-party publications.
- Promote, support and embed the use of the Alliance’s Model National Response with Government members including supporting the use of national legal and policy frameworks in accordance with the UNCRC and other regional and international and regional standards.
- Develop and maintain a good understanding of key legislative, policy and political developments in relation to child sexual exploitation and abuse online.
Global Taskforce
Support the focus and outcomes delivered by the Alliance’s Global Taskforce:
- Encourage and facilitate effective sharing of information among Taskforce member countries.
- Actively highlight valuable and impact resources available to governments.
- Support Taskforce member countries in identifying opportunities, actions and strategic steps within their national frameworks to enhance the protection of children.
- Organise bi-annual reporting and coordinating special events to foster leadership development for government officials involved in the Taskforce’s work.
- Maintain an up-to-date list of key contacts in Taskforce member countries.
Wider stakeholder engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, partners, and collaborators relevant to our work across the Alliance membership.
- Lead on development of or contribute to written outputs, such as reports, topic-specific briefing papers, website copy, presentations and blog posts to communicate the findings of our work to relevant audiences.
- Present analysis, evidence and findings about complex and sometimes contentious subjects to a wide range of audiences, ensuring an understanding of the subject and issues arising and enabling informed decision making.
- Represent the Alliance at key meetings as required, including presenting at and supporting the delivery of presentations at international events.
- Collaborate with WeProtect colleagues to integrate policy considerations into organisational initiatives and programmes ensuring coherence and effectiveness.

Person Specification
Essential skills, experience and knowledge
- Strong commitment to the mission and values of WeProtect Global Alliance.
- Extensive professional experience in a comparable policy role in the not-for-profit sector, government, international/intergovernmental organisation or a social movement.
- A strong interest in children’s rights and preventing child sexual exploitation and abuse.
- Knowledge and understanding of public policy processes, with strong analytical skills to analyse and gather data
- Knowledge of children’s rights, in particular child protection issues.
- Advanced interpersonal, people and networking skills, including a successful track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Excellent written and speaking communication skills, with the ability to adapt information for different audiences through formal and informal presentations, reports and papers.
- Strong drive for results with the proven ability to think strategically, solve problems and focus on clear and achievable goals.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record in undertaking and managing policy and/or research projects with excellent attention to detail.
