About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Service Manager to join our service based in Romford . Our service is a Independent Approved Premises commissioned by Criminal Justice Service (IAP) based in Havering. You will support residents recently released from prison in a residential setting, helping them reintegrate into the community. In this role, you will support in leading the team by providing overall leadership to the service and line management responsibilities to support, enable, and empower your team to deliver high quality support to our residents.
You will also support some day-to-day team responsibilities, including providing tailored support directly to residents. As a Manager, you will help drive service outcomes in line with contractual requirements, ensuring quality and consistency within a trauma‑ and psychologically informed environment. You will work collaboratively with the team, wider services, and external partners to ensure the service runs smoothly. We’re looking for a solution‑focused individual with experience in similar service environments, who can create a safe space for individuals to learn and grow, while continuing to embed trauma‑informed and psychologically informed practice that puts people and communities at the forefront. Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.
We are now recruiting an IPS Employment Advisor to join our Connect to Work service across Enfield. This is a full-time, permanent role working 35 hours per week, following the principles of the IPS model to support people into paid employment.
This role is specific to being co-located on site with probation services within Enfield. Candidates must be willing to undergo a vetting form including digital ID verification technology, right to work checks, proof of identity, proof of address and a DBS. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate with need to include contact details for prior workplaces and personal references.
Previous experience/understanding of probation services and MAPPA restrictions are essential to the role.
What you’ll be doing
If you were working with us, your days would be varied and people-centred. You would manage a caseload of clients with mental health support needs, people experiencing homelessness, and people with offending histories, offering one-to-one support to help them secure and sustain employment that matches their preferences.
You would provide person-centred guidance using the IPS approach (training is provided), helping clients build confidence, prepare for work, and navigate challenges that may arise. A key part of the role involves engaging employers, promoting the value of our service, and identifying suitable job opportunities.
You would work closely with external teams, contributing to an integrated approach to recovery through employment. This includes attending team meetings, coordinating support, and maintaining clear, client-led communication. The role also involves working to agreed targets while maintaining a high-quality, supportive service.

Main Role & Responsibilities
The post holder will be an active member of our programmes team and will work across our portfolio of programmes, with responsibility for engagement within Wales. Although remote working, they would need to be living in Wales for travel purposes.

We are recruiting a Fundraising Executive to join our team.
We’re looking for someone with energy, proactivity and eagerness to learn. The role will suit someone who is looking to take the next step in their fundraising career and make a real impact, helping to build on School-Home Support’s solid reputation and help grow our income.
You will need to have strong writing skills, being able to write concisely and persuasively. Strong and demonstrable organisational skills are also crucial, as well as confidence in building relationships with funders and managing a varied workload. You will have a keen eye for detail, be energised by ensuring our systems and processes are managed well and support our desire to get children back into school and ready to learn.

Joining Brooke, you will help deliver, monitor and improve our new integrated legacy acquisition campaigns across channels including TV, digital, radio and print. You will play a key role in growing the number of supporters choosing to leave a gift in their will, while also supporting broader giving to Brooke. Using insight-led operational activity, you will work closely with your manager, external agencies and colleagues to drive continuous improvement and create positive supporter engagement.
We are looking for a proactive, positive self-starter with experience of delivering multi-channel campaigns. Highly organised and comfortable monitoring data, you will use this to inform and identify improvements that enhance supporter experience and build trust. Your ability to turn strategy into compelling campaigns will help support Brooke’s vital work around the world. Experience working with DRTV campaigns is essential for this.
