Location: Hybrid – a combination of remote and in-person working at our London Bridge office at least 4 days a month.
Permanent and full-time role
Salary: Band 6 range of £60,250 - £70,750 pa
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in the UK - stealing over 12,000 of our dads, grandads, brothers and friends every year.
As the largest men’s health charity in the UK, our ambition is clear: to create a world where no man dies from prostate cancer. And this is how we’re making that happen. We are the biggest public funder of prostate cancer research, investing millions to revolutionise testing, treatment, and care. We’re blazing a trail to a screening programme that could save thousands of lives with regular, accurate tests for all men at risk. And we work tirelessly to spread the word about risk and offer specialist support to people living with the disease.
This is an exciting and pivotal moment for high value fundraising at Prostate Cancer UK. Through our £100 million Raise the Game appeal, we are accelerating our progress over the next 5 years, to transform how men and their families navigate prostate cancer. We are now seeking a new Head of Philanthropy to lead the strategic direction and performance of the philanthropy team, ensuring that we deliver ambitious, long-term and sustainable income growth in line with our priorities. You will also cultivate your own major donor portfolio, and work with other senior leaders across the Philanthropy, Appeals and Partnerships team, to ensure a coordinated approach in driving a culture of excellence, accountability, and donor focus across all fundraising activity.
About you
You are an experienced, collaborative fundraiser and people leader, who thrives in ambitious organisations and the major gifts arena. You’ll bring a strong track record of securing six-figure gifts and above, alongside the experience of designing and activating robust strategies and overseeing operational excellence that turns ambition into impact. A skilled and compelling communicator, you build trusted relationships easily and confidently with donors, colleagues and partners alike. You’re comfortable navigating the new and uncertain, bringing flexibility, curiosity and adaptability to a changing environment.
These qualities will be key to building credibility and strong relationships across the organisation and beyond. Experience in health or medical fundraising would be valuable, but it’s not essential. What is essential is your ability to interpret complex, specialist information into compelling funding propositions. Underlying this all is your passion for driving positive change and belief in the power of philanthropy to make it happen.
What we offer
Join our team and be part of an award-winning charity. We’ll support you to develop your skills and expertise.
We offer a competitive benefits package, including:
Our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion

About Reprieve
Reprieve is a leading international human rights organisation working to end the death penalty and abuses committed under the banner of national security. Founded in 1999, our mission remains critically relevant as governments worldwide increasingly adopt authoritarian tactics, expanding executive power at the expense of civil liberties.
You can best judge a society by how it treats prisoners, criminal defendants, and the far-flung targets of an ever-changing counter-terror policy. To us, the rule of law means little if we selectively apply it to people we agree with. It is for all of us. Liberty is always eroded at the margins.
Reprieve’s staff is made up of courageous and committed human rights defenders. We provide vital legal and investigative support to those facing execution and victims of rendition, torture, arbitrary detention, extrajudicial killing, and citizenship stripping. Our work spans multiple jurisdictions, challenging states' most egregious human rights violations through strategic litigation, investigations, and advocacy.
We support cases in courts worldwide while building the legal and political momentum necessary to consign these practices to history.
Based in London with Fellows and partners globally, Reprieve operates at the intersection of law, policy, and human rights, working alongside governments, senior legal practitioners, and civil society to advance systemic change.
We collaborate closely with our independent partner organization Reprieve US.
About the Role
The Head of Operations will oversee the day-to-day running of the global operations of Reprieve UK, Reprieve US, and our work around the globe. They will have broad responsibility for HR operations, office and facilities management, IT and systems, compliance, data protection, security risk management and operational support across Reprieve’s international operations
This role is critical to supporting a high performing group of staff, fellows, consultants, and partner organisations working together to provide the highest possible standard of service to Reprieve clients, their families and communities. The successful postholder will be committed to Reprieve’s mission of ending the use of the death penalty and extreme human rights abuses carried out in the name of “national security”, as well as to building and maintaining happy and healthy teams.
The successful postholder will support the Senior Management Team (who hold delegated responsibility) to ensure the smooth running of the organisation, including maintaining compliance with key statutory and regulatory requirements at all times. The Head of Operations will have a central role in ensuring that good practice, wellbeing, and compliance work hand in hand with one another, and is embedded within the ethos of the organisation for the benefit of our clients and Reprieve’s mission.
The Head of Operations will supervise the work of the Operations Team and will report to a member of the Senior Management Team.

This is a full-time position on a permanent contract. The annual salary is £61,003 full-time per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance.
This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work 40% per week from the London office and the rest of the week from home. You will also be available outside of office hours in the event of an emergency and when required as part of the security risk management framework (for example to monitor extreme risk trips). Registered Charity No: 1127164
MOVEMENT BUILDING MANAGER
(FIXED-TERM MATERNITY COVER UP TO 12 MONTHS)
Background:
Kaleidoscope Trust (KT) is the UK’s leading charity dedicated to advancing the rights of LGBTI+ people internationally. Founded in 2011, we aim to create a world where all LGBTI+ individuals are free, safe and equal. To ensure LGBTI+ rights remain a priority on global agendas, we take a three-fold approach:
We strengthen capacities and build networks and movements, by supporting a diverse range of international LGBTI+ partners and networks to access the skills, training, and financial resources they need to be able to shift hearts and minds and create enabling environments for policy and legal change.
We advocate for inclusive policy change, by generating data-driven evidence that amplifies our partners’ lived experiences and priorities and by ensuring political leaders and government officials have access to the accurate, timely and relevant information needed to effectively challenge anti-LGBTI+ narratives and strategies and drive positive change.
We enhance collaboration and coordination among stakeholders, by building networks and connecting grassroots organisations with political actors in strategic spaces to drive meaningful and lasting change for LGBTI+ communities across the Commonwealth and around the world.
Kaleidoscope Trust is proud to be a founding member of The Commonwealth Equality Network and to host its Secretariat. Our partnerships with LGBTI+ communities across the Commonwealth have informed our approach to inclusion and equality, in the workplace and beyond.
We are an open organisation, committed to having great working practices that enable all team members to have ownership over their work. We are committed to employing and nurturing a diverse range of people, and especially encourage applications from women, the vast and varied members of the LGBTI+ community, the multiply-marginalised, and People of the Global Majority.
The Role:
The Movement Building Manager is central to KT’s mission, helping drive the legal, policy, and social change needed to advance LGBTI+ rights by strengthening partners’ capacity, supporting their advocacy, and building long-term movement impact.
The role oversees KT’s major grant-funded programmes from start to finish. Through direct delivery and coordination across KT, they ensure that each grant meets its objectives, is delivered on time and within budget, is compliant with regulations and requirements, including reporting, is risk-managed, and contributes to KT’s wider movement-building strategy.
This role is an opportunity to support LGBTI+ organisations at a critical moment globally, providing the longer-term funding, partnership, and capacity support needed to drive legal, policy, and social change in their own contexts.
The Movement Building Manager will be the lead responsible for the delivery, donor compliance, and accountability of part of our programmatic work. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering key parts of the grants directly (such as grant-making and capacity strengthening support), build connections and relationships with grantee partners, and will support coordinated delivery across KT by bringing together colleagues and functions to meet programme objectives and donor requirements.
Contract type: Fixed-term maternity cover (up to 12 months). The successful candidate will be employed until the substantive postholder returns from maternity leave. While the expected duration is up to 12 months, the contract may end earlier if the postholder returns sooner.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading the delivery of a major governmental/institutional grant to agreed standards and timelines, including capacity strengthening and grant-making and coordination of grant-linked workplans, outputs, and timelines across the organisation.
Ensuring and coordinating full compliance with donor requirements, including narrative and financial reporting, safeguarding, due diligence, monitoring, and financial accountability, and supporting other teams to meet the same.
Managing partner relationships and supporting organisations through long-term accompaniment, capacity strengthening, and strategic movement support.
Efficient stakeholder management, maintaining close communication and coordination with the donor, partners, consultants and service providers, and/or any other external stakeholder related to the grant.
Overseeing grant-making processes, including due diligence, contracting, sub-grant management, partner monitoring and support (including review and improvement of their reporting), and compliance.
Working closely with finance colleagues to manage programme budgets, forecasting, donor financial reporting, and operational delivery processes.
Identifying and managing delivery risks across programmes, including safeguarding responsibilities and partner security considerations in sensitive contexts.
Supporting shared learning across programmes, including capturing insights from partner work, and contributing to organisational impact assessment and development of new capacity strengthening products and approaches.
Contributing to intel monitoring and understanding of movement needs and anti-rights dynamics.
Coordinating with other KT teams to ensure programme delivery is joined-up, realistic, and aligned with organisational priorities.
Working closely with the Head of Movement Building to ensure coherence across the grant portfolio, clear prioritisation, and sustainable workload planning.
Contributing to a collaborative and sustainable team culture, supporting shared planning and realistic workload management across the Movement Building Team.
Collaborating with TCEN members, where KT grant delivery intersects with network activity, while maintaining clear governance boundaries and recognising TCEN’s distinct member-led accountability.
Person Specification:
Essential
Experience managing grant-funded programmes in the Global South and East, including delivery, compliance, safeguarding, and reporting.
