Role Purpose
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, but dynamic team at Access – The Foundations for Social Investment. The Assistant Management Accountant will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Access's financial records. The role will work closely with colleagues across the organisation and provide support to the Senior Finance and Operations Manager and Director of Finance and Operations.

Main responsibilities include:
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (guide c.85%)
- Keeping the accounting system up to date, ready for review by the Senior Finance and Operations Manager, this includes but not limited to weekly bank uploads, posting weekly and monthly journals and reconciling Access's bank accounts and balance sheet.
- Assisting the Senior Finance and Operations Manager with preparation of monthly management accounts, annual budgets and Access's year end audit.
- Supporting treasury management by maintaining cashflow records and assisting with forecasting future cash requirements.
- Managing the accounts payable and receivable functions
- Maintaining organised financial files to support monthly reporting and the year-end audit
- Work with the Finance team to ensure that appropriate financial controls are in place and are being followed in order to comply with financial regulations and internal policies
- Carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time, consistent with the nature, level and responsibilities of the role
OPERATIONS, PEOPLE AND GOVERNANCE (guide c.15%) – scope dependent on number of hours worked
- Support the Senior Finance and Operations Manager with the delivery of the finance and operations team’s objectives
- Support the implementation of new systems and processes to improve operational workflows, with a dedication to continuous improvement
- Understand the programmatic work via the building of strong relationships across Access to be able to provide support to other areas of the business.
- Support the Senior Leadership Team with ad hoc administration, coordination and organisational tasks as required
- Support the Senior Finance and Operations Manager in assisting with the preparation of Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee (ARCC), Endowment Investment Committee (EIC) and Board papers and minute taking as and when needed

Senior Peer Support Workers and Peer Support Workers, who have direct lived experience of mental health issues, are working on in-patient wards in Croydon, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Wandsworth to provide recovery-focused peer support to people as they leave hospital and journey towards living independently in the community.
We are seeking a Senior Peer Support Worker to join the team in Lewisham, using personal lived experience of mental health difficulties to provide person-centred, recovery-focused peer support to people on hospital wards and as they are discharged to journey towards being settled in the community. This role will also line manage a Peer Support Worker, providing regular supervision and support, annual appraisals and development opportunities.
The Senior Peer Support Worker will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team within the Unit, assisting in-patients in developing essential skills and coping mechanisms, while promoting overall wellness through strength based and non-directive conversations. They will provide both practical and emotional support, facilitate access to community resources to help individuals maintain their independence while ensuring their wellbeing.
Additionally, this role includes supporting service users after discharge in the community for up to 12 weeks, aiding them in fostering independence within their local community, connecting with various agencies, enhancing life skills, providing guidance related to employment or educational opportunities and improving their ability to manage challenges effectively to prevent re-admission.
This position requires building connections with service users through shared experiences of mental health challenges, making lived experience a crucial requirement for applicants. You will also need to have previous experience of line management/managerial responsibilities.
Successful applicants will be expected to undergo an Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barring Service check.

About the Role
We are looking for a Chief Operations Officer to lead the operations team, join the management team and support the CEO. About the role
The Portfolio Management Analyst is a new role at the Foundation which will support effective planning, monitoring, and governance across the Foundation’s project and programme portfolio.

Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to providing specialised nursing care and support for young people aged 13–24 with cancer. Every day, seven young people in the UK hear the words “you have cancer”, and Teenage Cancer Trust ensures they do not face it alone.
The charity funds specialist nurses and youth support teams in hospitals across the UK and provides vital emotional, practical and psychological support for young people and their families during and after treatment.
Regional fundraising is a core income stream for Teenage Cancer Trust, generating income through a combination of community and corporate fundraising. Supporters are often personally connected to the cause, including young people, families and communities directly impacted by cancer, making this a highly rewarding fundraising environment.
Teenage Cancer Trust is now seeking a Senior Relationship Manager (West Scotland) to grow and develop income across the West of Scotland. With an individual income target of c.£130k and a combined Scotland regional target of c.£260k across East and West Scotland, this role will play a key part in strengthening existing relationships while identifying and developing new fundraising opportunities across a region with significant growth potential.
Reporting to the Regional Fundraising Area Manager, you will be responsible for building long-term supporter relationships and developing strategic area plans to maximise fundraising opportunities. You will also work closely with frontline nursing teams, volunteers and colleagues across the organisation, ensuring supporters experience the impact of their fundraising while helping identify new opportunities across both community and corporate audiences.
As Senior Relationship Manager, you will:

THE ROLE
The postholder will support the Prevention Coordinator to ensure events are delivered safely and effectively.
They will offer information, advice and guidance to people facing issues that are currently or may soon affect their housing security — delivering swift, impactful interventions that help reduce the risk of homelessness, and advocating and mediating on clients' behalf as they navigate complex bureaucratic systems. This role involves building meaningful relationships with some of the most vulnerable people in our communities, connecting them with the Welfare Benefits, Housing Allocations, Citizens Advice, mental health and substance misuse support they need and deserve.
The postholder will work closely with a wide range of partners, including homelessness service providers, local authorities, and healthcare and wellbeing organisations. They will carry a varied caseload, conducting assessments and working creatively to navigate the complex and challenging issues that can lead to clients becoming homeless, supporting them to engage with services. Working closely with SPEAR's Homeless Health Link Team, they will support colleagues with client-facing work and carry a caseload of clients requiring homelessness prevention support.
This role will be spread across 4 days per week.

About the role:
This is an ideal post for someone with experience and interest in bereavement work, looking to join a forward thinking, new service. This is also a great chance to be working alongside the Healthcare & Education Department within HMP Bronzefield and be part of a prison services team in Advance.
Using a trauma informed approached, the Loss & Bereavement Specialist will conduct a person-centred assessment to understand the extent of the client’s emotional needs and the impact of loss due to imprisonment or contact with the criminal justice system whilst also identifying practical and specialist needs. They will work with women to develop a support plan, ensuring they are equipped with information and knowledge about how to navigate possible changes in circumstances related to her children’s care and offer crisis intervention and support during acute phases of loss/bereavement.
The Loss & Bereavement Specialist Worker will liaise with the Prison Healthcare team, OMU, visits team and the Family Support Officer to facilitate interactions between women and their children/family members, particularly considering support is in place after visits and that the women’s emotional needs are met in custody and community via our Women’s centres.
The Specialist Worker will create a link between prison and the community, helping women to navigate support services and to positively re-integrate into their community upon release. The role will combine a casework- based approach, along with a signposting and advice service for the women. They will be based in the community and will provide a drop-in service in HMP Bronzefield to support women who are close to release.
A car may be desirable for this role, though not essential.
About You:
To be successful as the Loss & Bereavement Specialist Worker you will need the below experience and skills:
- Experience of working with bereaved individuals and providing grief counselling including knowledge of various therapeutic modalities relevant to grief counselling
- Comprehensive understanding of the grieving process and experience of working with bereaved and loss as well as knowledge of traumatic and complex grief/loss
- An understanding of violence against women and girls and its links to women in the criminal justice system
- Proven ability and experience as a caseworker delivering trauma responsive interventions which support resettlement and rehabilitation of vulnerable people in the criminal justice system whether in the community or in prisons
- Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of managing a caseload including maintaining and updating records, remaining focused on action plan goals, and keeping to deadlines

Office Attendance
This role requires a regular office presence and would suit someone who enjoys being part of a workplace environment.

The Role
This is a broad operational support role that combines office coordination, IT administration, facilities support and health & safety responsibilities.

Financial Accountant | Temp (Part Time) | £200 - £225 per day Umbrella Co | London | Hybrid
For a well-known charity in central London, we're recruiting an interim Financial Accountant until the end of February 2027 on a 3-4 day a week part-time basis. This role will lead on monthly balance sheet accounts, identify and correct ledger errors, and assist the Financial Controller with continuous improvements to the month-end process. The interim Financial Accountant will also support the Accounts Payable team with journals and PO system errors, reconcile payroll control accounts, and intercompany as well as sales ledger reconciliations and fixed assets.
Main Duties:
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts, intercompany accounts, Payroll controls accounts and HMRC information
- Maintain the Sales Ledger including monthly reconciliations and reporting on balances
- Post fixed asset and depreciation journals, and maintain the Fixed Asset Register
- Upload income batches from CRM system
- Assist the AP team with expenses, PO issues and journal errors
- Support the management of bank accounts
- Support the timely month-end and year-end closure processes
- Assist the Financial Controller with supporting the audit process and following up on audit recommendations
- Champion continuous improvement around finance processes, VAT, control processes, and support stakeholders with any technical queries
Person Specification:

We are seeking a Neighbourhood Health Coordinator to help strengthen the relationship between local communities and health services whilst leading an exciting new community outreach programme focused on healthy ageing and frailty prevention.
Purpose of the Role
The Neighbourhood Health Coordinator will play a key role in connecting older residents with local health, wellbeing and community support.
Working across Time & Talents, local Integrated Neighbourhood Teams (INTs), social prescribing services and community partners, the postholder will coordinate a programme of neighbourhood outreach activity designed to improve health outcomes, reduce loneliness and support older people to age well.
The role will combine programme coordination, partnership development, community engagement and direct delivery.
The postholder will spend time embedded within local health partnerships, helping to strengthen collaboration between statutory and voluntary sector organisations and ensuring local residents can access the support they need.
Key Responsibilities
Community Health Outreach
· Coordinate and support delivery of a programme of community outreach events across Southwark.
· Work alongside community organisations to engage older residents who may be isolated, vulnerable or at risk of frailty.

Young Carers Support Coordinator (Volunteering Lead)

Our client is a small independent charity that supports young people who take on caring responsibilities for an unwell or disabled family member. They provide programmes of support to empower Young Carers to look after their physical and emotional wellbeing and have experiences they would otherwise miss out on.
They believe that Young Carers are children first and should be free to develop emotionally and take full advantage of opportunities for educational achievement and life success.
As a Young Carers Support Co-ordinator (Volunteering Lead), you will work as part of a small dynamic team to plan and deliver our client’s support programmes for Young Carers. This will include taking responsibility for a specific age group and leading on their programme as well as supporting with other age groups.
This role has three major responsibilities:
- Delivering the Young Carers Exploration Programme, which provides emotional wellbeing support to Young Carers aged 8 – 17.
- Supporting the delivery of the annual activities programme.
- Coordinating the work of volunteers, including recruitment, induction and ongoing professional development.
Key tasks:
- Work as part of a team, leading the weekly delivery of the Charity’s term-time Exploration Programme that takes place on Wednesday evenings.
- Support the Young Carer’s Support Coordinator Activities Lead in organising and delivering aspects of the Charity’s Activity Programme, that takes place on some evenings and during school holidays.
- Coordinate a team of volunteers including their recruitment, training, retainment, supervision and professional development.
- Confidently identify what support is needed for a Young Carer and work with the team to make appropriate referrals to other organisations when necessary.
- Record all interventions with Young Carers into the Charity’s database system.
- Take every opportunity to raise awareness of Young Carers and the issues they face with individuals, families, partner organisations, and funding organisations.
- Follow all of the Charity’s policies and guidelines, including safeguarding, and lone working and ensure that volunteers adhere to relevant policies.

About the Role
As Grant-Making Officer, you will support the delivery of GiveOut's grant-making programme, helping ensure that funding reaches LGBTQI activist organisations efficiently, responsibly and in line with GiveOut's values and grant-making policies.
