We are looking for a new Individual Giving Manager to join our award-winning Fundraising and Communications team in the UK, in order to help us maintain strong support from our amazing donors.

The Role:

It is an exciting time to join Chance for Childhood. We have just won an Education Innovation Award for our digital inclusive education tool. We have transitioned our leadership to Africa, appointing a new CEO based in Rwanda. We have also just launched our new 2025-2030 Strategy, in which we will be aiming for our inclusive projects to reach 200,000 people.

You — our new Individual Giving Manager — will play a pivotal role in helping us to achieve this goal.

You will lead and manage Individual Giving income streams and our Community fundraising programme; Develop and implement supporter journeys, acquisition/retention plans, Individual Giving campaigns like the Big Give Christmas Challenge (including writing, fulfilment, and mailing). You will also manage and analyse Individual Giving income to an agreed target, monthly income reports, and donor data to inform fundraising strategies, and you will lead on ensuring Chance for Childhood is delivering world-class stewardship, managing and processing supporter data and donations accurately, efficiently, and securely, ensuring compliance with regulations and ethical best practices and guaranteeing a positive supporter experience.

Role Details

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience: 

•  Strong experience of fundraising, with proven specialisations in trusts and foundations. 
•  Proven track record of writing successful bids securing five- or six-figure and multi-year grants.
•  Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into compelling cases for support.
•  Strong relationship management skills, with experience building and maintaining effective relationships with funders and senior stakeholders.
•  Demonstrable influencing skills, including experience working effectively with senior colleagues and external partners.

The role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Database and Insights Officer to take ownership of myaware’s CRM system (Raiser’s Edge) and ensure our database is accurate, compliant, and fully utilised across the organisation.

This is a pivotal role, acting as the main point of contact for all internal CRM users and our external CRM system provider. As a database super user, you will manage system settings, user access, data integrity and development, while providing expert support, guidance and training to colleagues.

Working closely with the CEO, the myaware management team and colleagues across the organisation, you will ensure the CRM system supports fundraising, communications, campaigns and wider organisational insight. You will also play a key role in identifying opportunities for system improvement, upgrades and best practice. The role will require occasional working at Derby HQ and travel for meetings.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a confident and detail-oriented CRM professional with strong technical expertise and the ability to communicate clearly with non-technical users.

You will be highly organised, solutions-focused and comfortable taking ownership of a complex database system. You enjoy supporting others, improving processes and using data to make a meaningful impact.

• Proven experience managing a CRM system, ideally Raiser’s Edge or a similar database.

Who are we?

Myaware is the only charity in the UK dedicated solely to the care and support of people affected by myasthenia. 

We are working hard to raise awareness of myasthenia, as it is a little-known condition. We provide support for people with myasthenia and their families, whilst offering advice and tips for living with the condition.

Policy Campaigns Officer

A permanent position has arisen as part of the continued growth of our campaigns work within our friendly Policy, Public Affairs and Campaigns department. The Policy Campaigns Officer will play a key role in helping the charity deliver high-impact campaigns that mobilise supporters, influence policy, and raise awareness of issues relating to dementia research.

The role

As Manager of Philanthropic Giving, you will lead myaware’s trusts, foundations and high-value philanthropy fundraising, driving sustainable income growth through a strong and well-managed funding pipeline. You will shape and deliver strategies to secure both restricted and unrestricted income, manage the full bid lifecycle, and build long-term relationships with trusts, statutory funders and high-net-worth individuals.

Working closely with the CEO, senior leadership and trustees, you will develop compelling funding propositions, steward funders through excellent reporting and engagement, and represent myaware at meetings, events and networking opportunities. You will also maintain accurate records through our CRM system, track performance against targets, and contribute to income planning and reporting. This is a strategic and hands-on role with real impact for people affected by myasthenia.

The Manager of Philanthropic Giving will be predominantly home based within the UK (with occasional working and meetings at Derby HQ) and will work in co-operation with the fundraising team and all myaware colleagues to deliver agreed fundraising targets and campaigns. Own transport is essential for this role as occasional travel throughout the UK will be required to attend donor meetings, events and networking opportunities, as well as the ability to travel to the Derby office. There may be the need to occasionally work during weekends and evenings and therefore there is a need to work flexibly when required.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust as our new Project Manager - National Cycle Network, working within the Delivery Team to lead the successful delivery of active travel infrastructure projects.

We are looking for someone with exceptional project management skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. While some technical knowledge of active travel is important, the focus of this role is on leading complex projects, coordinating teams, and driving collaboration to achieve sustainable, high-quality outcomes.

As Project Manager - National Cycle Network (Network Development Manager), you will oversee the planning, delivery, and evaluation of projects that enhance the National Cycle Network (NCN) and related infrastructure. You will combine strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and project leadership to make a real impact.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery: Manage active travel infrastructure projects from concept through design, construction, implementation, and evaluation—ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance standards.
• Coordinate teams: Provide day-to-day leadership for interdisciplinary project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Build strong relationships: Engage and influence key stakeholders—including landowners, local authorities, and volunteers—through clear communication, evidence-based reporting, and presentations.
• Community engagement: Plan, organise, and attend engagement activities to ensure projects reflect local needs and encourage participation.
• Strategic contribution: Help shape the future of the National Cycle Network by contributing to long-term planning and vision development.
• Monitor and report impact: Analyse and present quantitative and qualitative data to demonstrate progress and outcomes.

This role involves regular travel, with work taking place at different locations to support and deliver projects for the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust.

ABOUT YOU

We ask that you have experience in the following areas:

• Proven ability to manage infrastructure projects, applying recognised project management frameworks to deliver on time, within scope, and to a high standard.
• Skilled at building and maintaining positive relationships with a wide range of partners, including local authorities, landowners, contractors, and community groups.
• Experience contributing to long-term planning and vision-setting and working collaboratively across interdisciplinary teams.
• A practical understanding of active travel infrastructure principles, with awareness of spatial and transport planning considerations.
• Ability to interpret and apply best practice in active travel network design, and familiarity with health and safety legislation and construction regulations.
• Experience in analysing and presenting quantitative and qualitative data to demonstrate project progress and impact.
• Exposure to opportunity generation, bid writing, and budget preparation would be an advantage.

Headway East London is looking for a creative and values-driven Communications Officer to support and develop the voice of Headway East London – working with our community of brain injury survivors, volunteers, and staff to co-produce content that shares our stories, increases awareness and broadens our reach.

You’ll play a central role in promoting our services, supporting income generation, and amplifying the voices of our members through a range of marketing and communications activity. You’ll balance digital know-how with a collaborative approach, developing accessible, engaging content across channels including our website, social media, e- newsletters, and print materials.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications Delivery

• Deliver and support the implementation of our communications and marketing strategy across all channels (digital and print).
• Support a regular calendar of activity across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, BlueSky, YouTube) to maintain and grow a network of online supporters.
• Support on maintaining and developing content for the Headway East London website (using WordPress and Elementor), including blog posts, service pages and events.
• Create engaging, relevant and accessible content including copy, video, photography, audio and graphics (using Canva), in line with brand guidelines and accessibility principles.
• Co-ordinate monthly e-newsletters and other communications using Mailchimp to a variety of audiences.

Community & Co-Production

• Work with our members(services users - people with brain injury),volunteers and staff to co-create content that reflects their voices and experiences.
• Ensure accessibility is embedded in all communications, including use of plain English, inclusive visuals, and a variety of formats.
• Engage the wider Headway East London community in developing campaigns, storytelling, and communications planning.

Campaigns, Partnerships & Income Generation

• Support fundraising and development teams to plan and deliver digital campaigns that increase donations, engagement and awareness.
• Explore opportunities for brand development, partnerships and earned media that align with our values and strategic priorities.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with local and national media outlets and stakeholders.

Internal Communications

• Support internal communication needs across the organisation, helping teams stay informed and connected across multiple sites.
• Help develop internal resources and templates that enable teams to produce consistent, values-led communications.

The Role

Your work will involve gathering evidence, best practice and case studies to showcase our impact as well as supporting fundraising initiatives and marketing analysis.

Reporting directly to the Head of Strategy and Partnerships, you will:

• Be a experienced in bid writing, proposal development and supporting strategic initiatives.
• Be skilled at interpreting reports and data to communicate impact and value in compelling ways.
• Have strong organisation and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate contributions from diverse teams.

The Intensive Support Refuge Manager (ISM) is responsible for the effective leadership and management of Pathway Project’s two Women’s Refuges in South Staffordshire, delivering high-quality, trauma-informed accommodation-based support to women and children fleeing domestic abuse. 

She will provide driven operational and strategic leadership across both sites, ensuring safety, consistency of practice, regulatory compliance, financial sustainability and excellent outcomes for residents. She will be supported by a Head of Operations, Deputy Refuge Managers, Senior Support, Refuge staff and volunteers. 

She will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to support Pathway Project’s evolving strategy and commitment to excellence in service delivery.
