Role Overview
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with a well-known health charity on a fantastic Interim Head of Content Strategy role. This position involves developing and shaping the organisation’s content ecosystem, with a focus on storytelling, to enhance brand awareness and engagement across multiple channels. This is a 3 day a week role until the end of June 2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a cohesive content strategy that aligns with the organisation’s purpose, brand identity, and storytelling goals.
• Create content frameworks, pillars, and story blocks that enhance memorability and build the organisation’s reputation in key thematic areas.
• Develop an audio-first content approach, including exploring innovative formats such as podcasts and pre-recorded media, to increase accessibility and reach.
• Advise on governance structures for content creation, approval, and distribution to ensure consistency and control.
• Manage the content ecosystem, including planning for live and digital content, and coordinate the integration of mediums such as audio and written materials.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and define organisational fame topics and content themes that elevate the organisation’s profile.

• Conduct a comprehensive initial review of current content practices, followed by strategic planning for future developments from January onwards.

What’s on Offer

About the role

The Membership team is at the heart of the AOI. It is where members come for advice, professional support and connection with the wider illustration community.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Membership Manager to join us for fixed term maternity cover. You will lead a small, dedicated team, ensure members continue to receive an excellent service and take forward our three-year membership strategy.

This is a varied role combining leadership, planning and hands-on delivery. You will protect and grow membership income, oversee our events programme, support the team with member enquiries and develop new ways to make membership more welcoming and relevant to a wider range of illustrators.

Where possible, there will be a handover with the current postholder. You will also be supported by colleagues who share knowledge of the professional and business issues affecting illustrators.

What you will be doing

Leading the Membership team

You will lead and support a small, experienced team, ensuring priorities are clear and members receive a consistently high level of service.

You will:

• Lead, support and develop the Membership team through regular planning, one-to-ones and clear communication.
• Oversee the day-to-day work of the team, balancing immediate member needs with longer-term priorities.
• Create a positive and collaborative working environment.
• Work closely with the Membership Administrator, who is responsible for the membership database and day-to-day administration.
• Ensure membership reporting and processes support effective decision-making and excellent member service.
• Monitor renewals, retention, membership income and other key trends, reporting regularly to the CEO.
• Identify practical improvements to the experience members receive.

Growing and strengthening membership

You will play a central role in delivering the AOI's three-year membership strategy.

You will:

• Lead plans to grow membership and improve retention.
• Develop a membership offer that is increasingly accessible, inclusive and relevant to today's illustration community.
• Ensure the needs of illustrators at different stages of their careers are reflected in our services and communications.
• Use member feedback, enquiry trends and membership data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Work with colleagues to communicate the value of AOI membership clearly and confidently.
• Develop campaigns and activities that encourage people to join, renew and make full use of their membership.

Leading the events programme

Events are one of the main ways we support, inform and bring together the illustration community.

You will:

• Shape and oversee the annual programme of talks, workshops, networking events and professional development activities.
• Manage the events budget and make effective use of available resources.
• Coordinate colleagues, guest speakers and external contributors.
• Ensure the programme offers a strong balance of business support, professional development, community and inspiration.
• Make events welcoming, accessible and relevant to a broad range of illustrators.
• Use events to support member engagement, retention and recruitment.
• Review attendance, feedback and impact to improve future programmes.

Supporting members

Our members come to us for trusted advice on the opportunities and challenges they face throughout their careers.

You will:

• Build a strong working understanding of the professional issues affecting illustrators, including business practice, licensing, contracts, pricing and professional standards.
• Support the team in responding to enquiries accurately, clearly and with empathy.
• Identify recurring issues and ensure they inform our events, resources and wider work.
• Build trusted relationships with members and act as an approachable and knowledgeable representative of the AOI.

You do not need to arrive with detailed knowledge of every issue affecting illustrators, but you will need to be curious, able to learn quickly and confident adapting your experience to a specialist creative community.

Working across the AOI

As a small organisation, we work closely across teams and support one another.

You will:

• Work with colleagues across communications, campaigning, awards and other areas of the AOI.
• Contribute ideas and insight to organisational planning and shared projects.
• Ensure membership priorities are understood across the organisation.
• Work closely with the CEO, who will lead strategic partnerships during the maternity-cover period.
• Act as an enthusiastic ambassador for the AOI, our members and the wider illustration community.

Person specification

The Communications Co-ordinator plays an important role in helping MindOut communicate its impact, services, campaigns and community voice to a wide range of stakeholders. Working closely with the Charity Director, Heritage Project Manager, staff team, volunteers and external partners, the postholder will ensure MindOut's communications remain engaging, accessible, inclusive and reflective of LGBTQ+ lived experiences. 

While supporting with our communications for the charity, the role has a particular focus on supporting communications for MindOut's National Lottery Heritage Fund project, Speaking Our Minds: MindOut 25+ Years and LGBTQ Mental Health, helping to capture and share the stories, achievements and learning from the project while increasing engagement with LGBTQ communities, funders and supporters. 

This opportunity would suit a creative and organised communications professional who enjoys producing content, managing digital platforms, engaging with audiences and supporting community-focused projects. 

Role description 

You will bring the skills, experience, creativity and confidence to support all aspects of MindOut's communications, marketing and public profile, helping to promote our services, campaigns, community engagement activities and heritage work. 

Main Tasks 

Communications & Content Creation 

• Develop and deliver engaging communications across MindOut's social media, website, newsletters and other communication channels. 

• Create accessible and inclusive content that reflects the diversity of LGBTQ+ communities. 

• Write articles, blogs, case studies, impact stories, promotional materials and project updates. 

• Support the development of a consistent organisational voice and communication style. 

• Gather and manage photographs, testimonials, quotes, video content and community stories, ensuring appropriate consent and permissions are obtained. 

Social Media & Digital Engagement 

• Lead on the day-to-day management of MindOut's social media platforms.

Events & Community Engagement 

• Support the promotion and delivery of community events, awareness campaigns and stakeholder engagement activities.

Support & Impact Manager

12 month fixed-term contract - Must be available to start October 2026.

Location – Home-based with regular travel across a designated region and to our office as required. This role will cover a region comprising East Riding, Lancashire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, and Sheffield & Hallamshire. What you'll be doing: 

This exciting role sits within our Wilder Streets, Wilder Lives programme, which works alongside communities facing barriers to accessing nature and environmental opportunities. Using a community organising approach, you will help local people identify priorities, build connections, develop leadership skills and take action to improve their neighbourhoods for both people and wildlife.

Working closely with residents, community groups, local authorities and project partners, you will support the co-design and delivery of a wide range of initiatives, including community greening projects, volunteering opportunities, sustainable living workshops, environmental training, BioBlitzes and community events.

At the heart of this role is relationship building. You will spend time listening to communities, understanding local needs and strengths, and helping people turn ideas into meaningful action. Through your work, you will empower individuals and groups to become confident leaders and champions for nature in their own neighbourhoods.

You will also have the opportunity to develop your own skills through specialist training in Community Organising and Climate Literacy, alongside learning from experienced partners and colleagues.

Qualifications:
 

You bring:

• Extensive international leadership experience in a senior HR or generalist role, with a track record of driving success in mission-driven non-profit organizations of 50+ employees.

• Deep expertise in people operations, international employment practices, and cross-border labour law compliance.

• Hands-on experience implementing and managing global HRIS, payroll, or employer-of-record platforms, ideally including Deel, Personio, or Teamtailor.

Creating Hope Together

Creating Hope Together is Scotland's suicide prevention strategy and action plan (2022–2032), published by the Scottish Government and COSLA. Its vision is to reduce the number of suicide deaths in Scotland while tackling the inequalities that contribute to suicide, so that any child, young person or adult who has thoughts of taking their own life, or who is affected by suicide, gets the help they need and feels a sense of hope.

All of the work is delivered in line with the strategy's guiding principles: putting inequalities and diversity first; co-developing our work with people with lived and living experience; embedding Time, Space, Compassion; keeping the voices of children and young people central; connecting people across sectors to learn together; reducing the stigma of suicide; and ensuring our work is evidence-informed.

The role

This is a new role, hosted by Change Mental Health on behalf of Suicide Prevention Scotland, created to support delivery of Outcome 3 of Creating Hope Together: that everyone affected by suicide is able to access high quality, compassionate, appropriate and timely support.

The postholder will work alongside colleagues in the delivery collective - primarily the Time Space Compassion (TSC) Lead and the Children and Young People (CYP) Lead - to support delivery of a range of actions across the Delivery Plan. In practice this means helping partners in community, primary care, unscheduled care and mental health settings to put person-centred, compassionate approaches into everyday practice; growing the reach of Time, Space, Compassion across Scotland; and strengthening support for children and young people at higher risk of suicide.

The role focuses on enabling practical change in real-world settings through strong partnerships, effective communication, and the thoughtful use of learning and evidence to support continuous improvement. It sits within a small, collaborative team and works across a wide network of national and local partners, including NHS Boards, local authorities, third sector organisations, the Lived and Living Experience Panel (LLEP) and the Youth Advisory Group (YAG).

Key Responsibilities

Support delivery of implementation and improvement resources in practice

- Support partners to work at a national and local level to embed person‑centred, compassionate approaches to supporting people affected by suicidal thoughts and behaviours.

- Work with partners and draw on the latest evidence, best practice and a range of experts, to identify and respond to barriers and enablers to implementation

- This includes supporting the adaptation and implementation of national improvement and implementation resources, with a particular focus on:

o The roll out of the Enabling Conversations Toolkit for children and young people, in the CYP sector

o The Time Space Compassion approach, including work to support the implementation of personalised risk management approaches in community and clinical settings.

Build and maintain stakeholder relationships

- Develop and maintain relationships with strategic, community and lived experience partners at both national and local level, holding a portfolio of implementation partnerships.

- Represent the work of Suicide Prevention Scotland in multi-agency partnerships and networks, building trust, setting realistic expectations and delivering reliably.

- Work in close partnership with colleagues across the delivery collective to ensure a coherent, joined-up approach across Outcome 3 and the wider delivery plan.

Lead communications and knowledge sharing

- Develop and deliver engaging, accessible communications that promote learning and support the spread of our resources and projects.

- Use digital channels and networks to share insight and good practice.

- Create content that is trauma-informed, inclusive and practice-focused.

Support evaluation and continuous improvement

- Work with local and national partners to develop and implement proportionate evaluation activity that identifies impact, learning and opportunities for improvement.

- Synthesise and share learning to inform the future development of our resources, including producing clear, accessible written summaries.

Project coordination and management

- Support national and local partners to plan, coordinate and administer implementation activity, maintaining project plans, milestones and risk registers.

- Monitor progress against delivery plan milestones and prepare updates and reports for governance groups.

- Support budget tracking and ensure value for money.

General Duties:

- Act in accordance with Data Protection legislation. Ensure all records, personal, staff and client data are managed in line with Data Management and Information Governance policies.

PURPOSE OF ROLE

Caudwell Youth exists to level the playing field for Young People at risk.

To change this, we:

• Shape Change: reduce stigma, amplify youth voice and demonstrate best practice in the sector

Our core service is a person-centred volunteer mentoring service, delivered across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Slough, Milton Keynes and Luton, for up to 18 months.

We also offer a short term intervention programme, in Buckinghamshire. The Shaping Futures programme 8 - 12 weeks of targeted work to support reduction in offending behaviour.

The Operations Team play a key role in achieving this vision.

You will be responsible for ensuring the Charity achieves its aims and objectives and fulfils its operational plan effectively by providing high quality support services, providing person centred long- term mentoring for young people.

Key Duties:

• Coordinate onboarding of young people, including the initial assessment, and developing 12 individualised sessions bespoke to each young person.
• Ensure a 12-week programme is written and sent to the young person with agreed outcomes after initial meeting.
• Responsible for a case load of young people up to 20 young people at any one time.
• Lead sessions and activities with appropriate resources to empower young people to make more positive choices to reduce violent behaviours, reduce risk of exploitation and other offending behaviours.

Coordination & Development

• With support from your line manager, ensure the delivery, development of services, community-based activities, and development opportunities are in line with regulatory requirements, our own policies, including safeguarding, social media, health & safety and data protection.
