About KLS’ Future Foundations education team 

Future Foundations is an education programme of Katherine Low Settlement. Since 2004, KLS’ Future Foundations education team of 10 part-time staff and over 100 volunteers, have supported young refugees and their families in Battersea and the London Borough of Wandsworth to thrive in their education. Through mentoring, family support, casework and homework clubs, we provide the tailored support each young person and their family (if they have one) needs to overcome the barriers to education they face at home and school.

•Support staff to liaise with families/carers to communicate information regarding our work

•Support staff to keep and maintain robust recording and monitoring systems

•Maintain, collect, edit and store documentation of our work including photos, case studies for Newsletters, funding reports and other records

•Support our senior case workers with weekly drop-in advice sessions at KLS, including completing forms with families, general admin tasks etc.  

•Support casework team with making and following up on internal and/or external referrals, signposting whenever relevant and according to adequate referral pathways and in response to the young people’s/family's needs – with support and guidance from staff

•Add information to our database – guided by team leads/managers - log all cases; monitor progress and ensure all identified actions are taken

•Support with casework tasks, guided by senior caseworker and manager, from initial contact to resolution, maintaining confidentiality throughout

•Liaise with external agencies and organisations on behalf of clients

•Respond to enquiries by telephone, email, referring on internally or externally organisations when necessary

•Ensure records are kept and information managed confidentially in line with the data protection legislation

•Supporting Refugee team with general admin, database, evaluation data

•Maintain excellent safeguarding practices

Essential

·      Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) to effectively support Arabic-speaking service users and families

Corporate Partnerships & Fundraising Manager

MCKS Charitable Foundation UK

Why This Role Matters

MCKS Charitable Foundation currently supports around 180 schools across the UK through its school pantry programmes. Through strategic partnerships and fundraising, this role will help expand that support to 500 schools nationally, ensuring more children and families have access to essential food support through their schools.

This is a hands-on role where you will manage your own pipeline, develop partnership proposals and oversee reporting to funders and partners.

In your first year, the focus will be on building a strong fundraising pipeline capable of generating £150,000+ in future income and securing £75,000–£150,000 in new funding through corporate partnerships, trusts and fundraising initiatives.

As Senior Philanthropy Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of the Philanthropy strategy for Trusts and Foundations to ensure the maximisation of revenue and that financial targets are met. • Experience of developing and writing compelling applications bids and cases for support, presenting complex information that is persuasive and engaging for lay audiences.
• Experience of successfully researching and building short, medium and long term funder pipelines to meet financial targets.
• Excellent communication skills with the power to persuade, motivate and inspire others whilst also delivering clear, concise messages.

The role

You will support all aspects of Hospice UK’s commercial partnership activity, helping to build, steward and develop long‑term relationships with corporate partners, who want to collaborate with hospices. The Role
The role of a programme coordinator is ensuring the smooth running of all student related events. This will include having a full understanding of all the SEO-London programmes; understanding the relevant industry that the programme supports; how these fits into the SEO-London organisation and using this knowledge to liaise with students and client/partner firms to run, organise and market successful events.

The Afghanistan Citizen’s Resettlement Scheme (ACRS) provides a safe and legal route for some of the most vulnerable and at-risk people from Afghanistan to come to the United Kingdom and rebuild their lives. The UK Government has committed to welcoming up to 20,000 people who are at risk through the ACRS. IOM facilitates pre-departure preparation activities for people arriving under the ACRS including but not limited to the provision of migration health assessments, UK Cultural Orientation (UKCO) and organised movement assistance. 

IOM’s experience in facilitating various resettlement programmes has shown that investment in providing refugees with accurate and relevant information about their resettlement and integration pre- departure is vital in enhancing the integration process upon arrival.

Integration is a two-way process, however, working best when both refugees and those in receiving communities have a good understanding of each other’s expectations, cultural differences, and practices. IOM UK therefore launched its Information Sessions in May 2016 to increase local knowledge of the refugee communities being resettled in the UK, thereby helping to reduce the adjustment period for refugees and supporting strong, appropriate integration services.

Reporting to the Partnerships Manager, the postholder will play a key role in managing a significant portfolio of partners and prospects, contributing directly to the achievement of ambitious income targets and long-term partnership growth.

You will lead on the development and stewardship of corporate relationships, identifying opportunities to achieve income targets through donations, sponsorship, employee fundraising, volunteering, gift in kind and commercial collaborations.

Working closely with the Partnerships Manager, you will help shape account plans, support pipeline development and contribute insight to partnership strategy, ensuring activity is aligned to hospice priorities and funding needs.

The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. The Role

As a Horticultural Curator, you will support the development of beautiful, resilient and biodiverse landscapes across The Royal Parks.

Specifically, you will deliver one of our key strategic objectives to ‘Conserve and Enhance’. This will involve five key themes: everyday wonder, creating iconic horticulture, diverse planting, respecting heritage, and a sustainable future. Working closely with our eleven Head Gardeners, you will support horticultural projects across the parks through both practical and planning input, ensuring planting schemes respond to heritage, climate change and biodiversity challenges.

You will help source plants from a diverse range of nurseries, support procurement planning for larger projects and ensure new plantings deliver the best outcomes for people, nature and long-term landscape sustainability.

Additionally, you will:

• Manage and issue horticultural guidance documents and support quality standards
• Oversee and administer the Expert Horticultural Counsel volunteer group
• Support the Head Gardener team with plant sourcing and horticultural diversity across the parks ensuring each park has its own style and identity without duplication
• Contribute to Landscape Character Assessments and Park Management Plans
• Support the development of National Plant Collections in collaboration with Plant Heritage and the Head Gardener Team

About You

To be considered as a Horticultural Curator, you will need:

• Experience working at management level in a curated landscape garden setting that has a wide breadth of plant groups
• Demonstrable experience working in spaces open to the public
• Experience curating a broad range of plant groups
• Experience writing copy to explain and communicate changes and evolution of horticulture for media, press and PR interpretation and fundraising material
• Broad knowledge and understanding of horticultural plant diversity, its display and curation, and how to interpret it to visitors
• Knowledge of the UK and, in some cases, European nurseries
• An understanding of the sensitivities involved with evolving planting styles
• Wide reaching networks through plant committees and industry bodies to enable collaboration and best value for the charity

Purpose of the Job 
Supporting the step change in growth of the Statutory, Trusts and Foundations income stream.

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with Manager and Senior Managers to manage portfolio through excellent stewardship
• Supporting the creation of a high-quality pipeline of new funding opportunities
• Manage a portfolio of low-level trusts and foundations, with opportunity to progress to mid-level funders
• Write compelling and visually engaging funding applications to new and existing trusts, working in collaboration with finance colleagues to ensure accurate budget and income allocation
• Manage significant mailing programmes to prospects, each campaign focused on specific projects or urgent appeals, including follow up contact  
• Supporting the timely and accurate submission of funding proposals considering finder deadlines and application requirements
• Excellent stewardship of existing funders through timely submission of repots  and thank you correspondence

Reporting to the Fundraising Development Manager, the Legacy Manager is responsible for leading and delivering the long term growth strategy for legacy income at St Giles Hospice.

The post holder will develop and implement a sustainable and scalable legacy programme that increases the number of legacy pledgers, strengthens the future pipeline of legacy gifts and delivers consistent income growth aligned to organisational objectives.

The role will own the legacy value proposition, marketing strategy and support journey from initial engagement through to pledge stewardship. The post holder will champion a culture of legacy giving across the organisation and position leaving a gift in a Will as a meaningful and natural way to support St Giles Hospice.

In partnership with the Fundraising Administration team, the Legacy Manager will ensure legacy gifts are managed professionally and compliantly, with strong forecasting, reporting and internal oversight.
