The National Safeguarding Panel (NSP) is seeking to appoint TWO representatives from a survivor's organisation that works with individuals affected by faith-based abuse to join its independent scrutiny and advisory body.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the safeguarding work of the Church of England by offering strategic insight, scrutiny, and challenge from the perspective of survivors. The NSP plays a vital role in shaping safeguarding policy and practice, ensuring that the voices of victims and survivors are heard and meaningfully integrated into decision-making.
Role Expectation
Time Commitment: Approx. 6-8 meetings per year, plus preparation
Term: 3 years, renewable for 2 years
Location: Meetings held in London and across dioceses (hybrid attendance available)
Remuneration and Expenses
A fee of £25 per hour will be paid for attendance at meetings, along with reimbursement for travel expenses. Members are expected to attend six meetings per year and undertake one hour of reading in preparation for each panel meeting. The right Senior Advocacy Officer will help us to lobby UK Parliament to further privacy and wider rights at a critical time – when a legal framework on police use of facial recognition is very soon to be introduced, and police are expanding their use of AI and new surveillance technologies. About you

The programme brings together RSPB, the Conservation Society of Sierra Leone (CSSL), the Society for the Conservation of Nature of Liberia (SCNL), Gola Rainforest Conservation LG (GRC-LG), the Environmental Foundation for Africa (EFA), government institutions, local authorities and forest-edge communities.
The Action will strengthen protected-area and community-forest management, ecological connectivity, participatory land-use planning, biodiversity monitoring, sustainable livelihoods and green enterprises, sustainable cocoa and other value chains, policy engagement, institutional capacity and cross-border cooperation.
About the role
RSPB is seeking an experienced Transboundary Project Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of the EU-funded NaturAfrica BiCoGoL Action across the Gola-Foya (GbarLo) landscape in Sierra Leone and Liberia. This is a senior, field-based leadership role responsible for coordinating a complex, multi-partner programme involving RSPB, CSSL, SCNL, GRC-LG, EFA, BL government institutions, local authorities and communities.
The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering the programme's agreed results, on time, within budget and to the required technical and donor standards. Importantly, this is a partnership leadership role: the postholder will achieve results through influence, coordination and collaboration rather than direct line management of most project staff.

- Lead integrated programme planning and delivery across Sierra Leone and Liberia.

The role
The supporter care officerwill report to the senior individual giving manager.
We are looking for a Supporter Care Officer to deliver an exceptional experience for our fundraising supporters, ensuring every interaction with Royal Free Charity is positive, engaging and supporter centred.
The postholder will combine excellent front-line supporter stewardship with a proactive approach to improving processes and ways of working, helping to ensure supporters receive the highest standard of care throughout their journey with us.
The team
Our dynamic fundraising department generated £4.5m through donations in 2025/26, and we are now preparing for an ambitious £50m fundraising campaign in support of a ground-breaking £100m cancer centre on the site of the Royal Free Hospital.
We pride ourselves on being a supporter-focused and agile function, working at the heart of the charity to deliver impact for patients and staff across our hospitals.
Responsible for attracting and retaining donors, and delivering an outstanding supporter experience, the fundraising department comprises three teams which work closely together to achieve our shared objectives:
- Our philanthropy & campaigns team builds relationships with individual philanthropists, trusts, foundations, corporate organisations and intermediaries, giving or facilitating donations of £10,000 or more to the charity each year. They lead major appeal activity for the charity, currently focused on our forthcoming cancer campaign, and special events to support these activities.
- Our public fundraising team harnesses the support and energy of individuals and groups, helping them to give back in the way that works for them. This includes committed giving, in memory support, gifts in wills, and fundraising events and challenges.
- The Fundraising Operations team develop and maintain the foundation to underpin and support the fundraising activity of the entire department, including campaign operations, data, governance, prospect research and stewardship.

The Role
We are working with an established housing provider to appoint an experienced Group Fire Safety Manager to take a lead role in the organisation’s approach to fire safety.
This is a senior position within the Building and Fire Safety function, with responsibility for providing technical leadership, managing a specialist team and ensuring fire safety arrangements remain robust across a large property portfolio.
You will work closely with senior leaders, asset management, development, repairs and external partners to identify risks, strengthen compliance and continually improve fire safety standards.
Responsibilities

This is key role, working directly with parents and carers, and an opportunity to really make a difference in our families’ lives.
This is a home-based role for two days per week (0.4 FTE), offering flexibility alongside the opportunity to shape a growing national charity. There may be potential to increase the hours over time, subject to funding, making this an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to grow with the organisation.
