More about the role: As Senior Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for a broad range of key finance activities, from day-to-day financial operations and reporting through statutory compliance and cashflow management. Working closely with our small finance team and colleagues across the charity, you will provide the accurate, timely financial information needed to support effective planning, reporting and decision-making. This is a practical, hands-on role with real variety, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a growing charity.
About you: We are looking for someone with significant hands-on accounting experience in a similar role, ideally within an equivalently sized or larger organisation. The Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Data Management Officer to join the charity’s Data and Insights Function. You will be joining the charity at a time of significant opportunity as we continue to strengthen our approach to data, insight and supporter engagement.
The Data Management Officer will mainly be responsible for managing and developing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and supporter data. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CRM and data professional who enjoys hands-on responsibility for systems, process improvement and data management, and enabling colleagues to deliver exceptional fundraising, marketing and supporter engagement activity. Working closely with teams across the charity, you will ensure our CRM remains effective, compliant and fit for purpose while helping us better understand and engage our supporters. This role can be offered on a fully remote basis, with the option to work from Perth Airport, where SCAA headquarters are located or our Aberdeen base at Aberdeen Airport, if preferred. About You
Essential
Proven experience managing CRM systems in a charity or fundraising context and being comfortable working with large datasets.
Experience with data segmentation, ETL processes, transformation and import / export processes.
Strong understanding of data protection legislation (e.g. GDPR).
Understanding of Gift Aid regulations and charity fundraising compliance.
Confident using query tools and an understanding of query-based data extraction.
Strong IT skills with competency using the MS Office suite and Excel in particular.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and support non-technical colleagues.
Ability to analyse and translate data into clear findings for campaigns and reporting, including donor value analysis.

Working closely with the Volunteering and communities Officer and the Citizens Advice (CADAT) Team Leads across the organisation.
Your role will ensure that we have a broad and compliant programme offering training and development needed to enable our teams to undertake their roles. You will focus on delivering high quality support, advice and ensure you contribute to our primary aim of enabling people to have positive health and wellbeing outcomes through utilising any of our services. You will be responsible for supporting the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and the HASO to develop a learning and development strategy across the organisation.
This is a role that requires excellent administration skills and be familiar working to deadlines, great communication skills and excellent attention to detail. However, above all you must like working with a diverse range of people, have tact, patience and understanding when working to support everyone at different levels to complete and understand their training and development obligations.
One day you could be supporting the training and development of a staff team, the next working with an individual volunteer to log onto a course and support their learning plan. The next day you could be liaising with our trustees to ensure they undertake their training obligations or booking venues and trainers for courses….

We are looking for a Recovery Worker to join our excellent team in Hounslow. As the successful candidate you will have a passion for supporting some of the most vulnerable individuals in the borough,supporting residents around their strengths and aspirations.
The Hounslow LIFE service is a large multi-site service that has a staff team of 32 supporting 86 clients, covering specialisms such as Homelessness, Substance Use and Mental Health.
In the role of Recovery Support Worker, you will be working withour clients on their road to recovery, aiding clients to gain the necessary skills to move on from our services and into suitable accommodation. You will assist a caseload of clients, supportingthem to maintain independence in the community, build on their skills for employment, manage their own health needs, and look towards a brighter future. You will also have some housing management responsibilities as part of ensuring we deliver safe, high quality services.
Please note, due to the needs of all our services, there is a requirement to work a shift rota, so flexibility is required. This will include some weekends and bank holidays, and the role will be service based with no home working.
