Scope is seeking an experienced and commercially minded New Business Lead to drive the growth of transformational corporate partnerships that will help create an equal future with disabled people.

Corporate partnerships play a vital role in helping Scope deliver this mission, generating sustainable income while building meaningful collaborations with organisations that share its values and ambitions.
Leading the new business function within the Partnerships and Philanthropy team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering Scope’s corporate partnerships new business strategy, identifying and securing high-value partnerships that drive long-term impact and income growth. Working closely with the Head of Partnerships and Philanthropy, you will help shape a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities aligned with Scope’s wider organisational goals.
This role will lead the development of compelling partnership proposals and pitches, building influential relationships with senior stakeholders across the corporate sector and ensuring new opportunities are progressed from prospecting through to successful handover. You will also play a key role in identifying innovative partnership opportunities, building a pipeline, analysing market trends and ensuring all partnerships align with Scope’s values and strategic priorities.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in corporate, with a proven track record of securing corporate partnerships and leading successful income generation strategies. They will bring strong leadership capability, commercial awareness and relationship-building skills, alongside experience managing budgets, performance reporting and complex stakeholder engagement.

1 day a month in the London office (minimum, but more up to you), plus meetings with partners
Salary: £51,000 to £55,000
St John Ambulance is entering an exciting new phase, with corporate partnerships at the heart of our growth strategy. This is a newly created leadership role with a clear focus on new business and the ambition to grow significant, long-term voluntary income.
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys winning new partnerships. This is a hands-on role where you will lead from the front, build a strong pipeline, develop compelling propositions and secure high-value, multi-year corporate partnerships that deliver real impact.
What you will do
- Drive new business activity and build a robust, proactive corporate pipeline
- Lead, support and develop a team of three partnership fundraisers
- Create and deliver strong, commercially focused partnership propositions
- Secure and grow six-figure and multi-year partnerships
- Work across the organisation to unlock opportunities and maximise value
- Balance excellent stewardship with a clear priority on growth
