International Digital Marketing Coordinator (French Speaking)
Position Objective
To support digital campaigning and email marketing across PETA international entities, with a particular focus on PETA France. This role is ideal for a fluent French speaker with hands-on digital marketing experience and a strong interest in animal liberation campaigns.
Term of Employment:
Full-time, 12-month fixed term contract (with hope to extend)

Remote in mainland UK
Salary:
£31,000 - £35,000

Associate Director of International Digital Strategy
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Support PETA France email marketing for the programmes team, including translating, building, adapting, and scheduling campaigns
- Update web content across PETA France, PETA Australia, and PETA Netherlands to ensure accuracy, consistency, and best practice
- Support web content projects that span PETA France, PETA UK, PETA Australia, and PETA Netherlands, working collaboratively to ensure consistency and localisation
- Adapt blog content from PETA UK and PETA US for publication on PETA France platforms
- Upload, edit, and maintain content using WordPress or similar CMS tools
- Coordinate translations and localisation of videos and digital assets for French, UK, Australian, and Dutch audiences
- Ensure French-translated content is accurate, compelling, and aligned with campaign objectives and tone of voice
- Support PETA France social media, press, and supporter services during periods of staff holiday cover, as needed
- Provide additional support for PETA UK email marketing using the Engaging Networks platform during holiday cover periods
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken (essential)
- Experience using Engaging Networks or a similar email marketing / e‑campaigning platform
- Experience with WordPress or comparable content management systems
- Familiarity with animal liberation issues and campaigns in France
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects across different markets
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with international teams
- Previous experience working on international or multimarket digital campaigns (desirable)
- Understanding of email marketing best practices, including segmentation, QA, and deliverability (desirable)
- Experience supporting advocacy, nonprofit, or campaign-driven organisations (desirable)
- Commitment to the objectives of the organisation
- Adherence to a vegan lifestyle is strongly preferred

ABOUT BRIGHTPIP
BrightPIP (Brighton Parent/Infant Psychological Therapy) is a specialist infant mental health charity supporting babies aged 0–2 and their families across Brighton & Hove and Sussex. We provide early therapeutic intervention to strengthen relationships and prevent cycles of intergenerational trauma.
We are a small, friendly and growing charity, supported by a dedicated clinical team and Trustee Board. As we expand to support up to 250 families per year, we are strengthening our operational and coordination capacity.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and highly organised Marketing & Fundraising Coordinator to grow BrightPIP’s visibility, income and community engagement. This role sits at the heart of BrightPIP’s external presence, working closely with clinicians, trustees and supporters to tell our story and build sustainable income.
This is a key role within the charity. You will lead our day-to-day marketing and communications, and support and deliver community fundraising campaigns and events. You will also build strong relationships with supporters, nurseries/schools, community groups and corporate partners.
This role is ideal for a confident self-starter who enjoys storytelling, connecting with people, and shaping a growing role within a values-driven organisation. The role will evolve as the charity grows, offering opportunities to develop new campaigns, partnerships and communications.
You will report to the Clinical Director and work closely with the clinical team, fundraiser and trustees.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead BrightPIP’s marketing, communications and brand presence across digital and print channels
- Create and schedule social media content, newsletters, blogs and website updates
- Support and deliver community fundraising campaigns, events and challenge activities
- Steward supporters, families, nurseries/schools, community groups and corporate partners
- Write case studies, supporter stories and communications materials (with safeguarding oversight)
- Support press activity and media engagement
- Work closely with clinicians, the fundraiser and trustees to support BrightPIP’s growth

Overview of the role
Event marketing
A key responsibility of the Marketing Coordinator will be to promote our programme of community-led events at the Centre – an exciting mix of meetups and socials, wellbeing sessions, healthcare drop-ins, arts and crafts, sports classes and a wide range of workshops.
It will be the responsibility of the Marketing Coordinator to work closely with our Events and Outreach Lead and event facilitators to ensure all events are marketed appropriately, ensuring accuracy and maximum visibility.
Community customer service
As a community centre, we work very closely with multiple LGBTQ+ communities and individuals, operating as a key resource and signposting hub for the community. As part of this role, you will be responsible for managing our digital enquiries both on email and social media.
Digital content and social media
As the Marketing Coordinator you will be responsible for the management of all event marketing, including on social media and Eventbrite, creating our weekly newsletter and designing social media assets and content to advertise events.
Alongside this you will manage event queries from the community and work closely with our Events and Outreach Lead on ticketing and scheduling.
As we continue to evolve, we’re looking into the future of the Centre and how we can reach even more LGBTQ+ people across London. Therefore, this is a crucial role to market the Centre – so people know we’re here! – and to tell the stories of the community who use the space.
