About the Role

About You
You are an organised and digitally aware communications professional. You can take complex subjects and communicate about them in simple and effective ways that speak to specific audiences. You are comfortable working in a small and creative team and are confident speaking to the wider organisation. You can juggle numerous projects and deadlines at one time.
You will demonstrate considerable cross-cultural awareness and an ability to communicate in a way that is sensitive and appropriate. You demonstrate an aptitude for collaborative teamwork and the ability to work independently on your initiative. It is expected that the postholder will be inspired by the work of USPG and in agreement with its Christian ethos and that they will be comfortable writing in a way which reflects this.

About the role
The Learning Officer plays a key role in making sure evidence on how our homes and communities can become better places to age in is spread across the UK.
This role primarily works with the UK Network of Age-friendly Communities, a network of over 110 communities, led mostly by local authorities, VCSE organisations. This network is part of a global movement and is affiliated to the World Health Organisation.
You will be working with the Network and Learning Manager to inspire, connect and support network members, using a range of engaging methods including:
- Creating resources such as blogs, case studies, toolkits, etc
- The design and delivery of training, events, and workshops
- Facilitating connection and exchange between members
This is hand-on role will involve delivering key learning activities and managing your own workload, whilst also being responsive to support network members. Job Purpose:
The Information Security and Data Protection Coordinator supports MSF UK and Ireland in the effective coordination and day‑to‑day operation of its information security and data protection arrangements. About the Role
