Job Title: Strategic Legal Projects Manager
Organisation: Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association (ILPA)
Duration: fixed term contract of 2 years, with possibility of extension depending on funding.
Location: Remote/Hybrid/London depending on working days (our anchor day is in London on a Tuesday, with occasional other travel within the UK)

Salary: £33,000 to £38,000 per annum salary (actual salary for 2 days a week, £13,200 - £14,800), depending on skills and experience. NB: pension is 5% of salary

About the Role
This is a new role which will be pivotal to the work of the Strategic Legal Projects Team. The post-holder will work with the Director of Strategic Litigation and Advice to coordinate the delivery of the Strategic Legal Fund (SLF). This is an innovative programme of grant funding, supporting strategic legal work that benefits people who are disadvantaged or discriminated against because of their immigration status. We define strategic litigation as work where the impact goes beyond an individual case and results in changes to law, policy and practice that will benefit a wider group of people. The fund supports pre-litigation research, and third-party interventions in cases before the courts, as well as advocacy related to the legal activities undertaken. Grants can be awarded to non-governmental organisations and law firms.
The post provides an opportunity to contribute strategically to supporting the legal sector working on migrants’ rights in the UK. You will gain experience of all aspects of the grant-making process in the intersection of legal and policy work on issues facing people seeking asylum, migrants and refugees in the UK today.
The ideal candidate may be someone wishing to develop a career in philanthropic work in this area or build relationships with esteemed human rights lawyers and social justice organisations. Whatever their interest, they will bring to the work a flair for organising, project management to include building relationships and supporting joint working and the vision to see the separate grants as part of a coherent whole.

Main Tasks:
· liaise with applicants including legal practitioners and organisations working with migrants across the UK;
· co-ordinate the meetings of an expert panel and decision-making panel;
· carry out financial due diligence checks in relation to potential grants;
· manage monitoring and evaluation, collecting reports from grantees and available data evidencing outcomes, and contributing to reports and updates for ILPA and for the funders;
· communicate updates and successes by grantees on the SLF website and on social media;
· build capacity of groups and individuals working in support of migrants’ rights, including working with the Legal Project Officer to ensure the work of the Strategic Legal Advice Committee (SLAC) and the SLF align and complement each other.

The Youth Employability Service
CXK delivers the Youth Employability Service (YES) across East Sussex, commissioned by East Sussex County Council. We offer information, advice, support and guidance to young people in academic years 12 and 13 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), helping them to explore their options, plan and then take their next steps. We also work with schools supporting young people in year 11 who are at risk of becoming NEET. Liaising with a range of other services, YES is focussed on supporting young people to achieve their potential.
The Team
The YES team support young people from across the county, seeing them at CXK bases, partner venues or in community settings. The team assess and action plan with young people referred to the service, supporting them to understand their options and take steps toward achieving their goals around education, training and /or employment. About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Skills and Employability Adviser.
You will support a caseload of young people aged 16 to 18 who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET), or at risk of becoming NEET. You will guide them through re-engagement with suitable post-16 provisions and provide targeted intervention to those who have withdrawn from or not started their Post 16 provisions.
Working across the West of East Sussex, you will support young people in our Eastbourne office, community-based venues such as Youth and Family Hubs, and other suitable locations that meet the needs of our cohort. You will also work closely with local schools and Further Education (FE) colleges, playing a key role in ensuring that young people receive tailored information, advice, and guidance to help them progress confidently into further education, training, or employment. Through co-located working and effective partnership collaboration, you will build and maintain positive professional relationships while ensuring the accurate and timely recording of information on relevant databases.
You will maintain regular contact with the young people you support, building trust and ensuring that casework is delivered with care and consistency. Your role will involve assessing needs, action planning, reviewing progress, and adapting support as required. You'll also act as a champion for relevant opportunities and resources—ensuring young people, parents/carers, providers, and wider stakeholders are aware of what’s available and how it can help.
This role also works closely with our local Youth Justice Service, working in partnership to support vulnerable young people with YJS orders, or an offending background. The postholder will be expected to attend YJS team meetings and input updates into relevant databases and systems as required.

The Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Data Management Officer to join the charity’s Data and Insights Function. You will be joining the charity at a time of significant opportunity as we continue to strengthen our approach to data, insight and supporter engagement.
The Data Management Officer will mainly be responsible for managing and developing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and supporter data. The Head of Finance will lead the day-to-day finance function, ensuring our financial information is accurate, timely and useful. The role will oversee financial reporting, controls, compliance, payroll, budgeting and forecasting, while managing and developing the finance team. This role is new, created to focus on community fundraising which is a growing area with huge potential for PCR. Tower Hamlets Supported Living Services are intended for service users with a mental health need some of whom have multiple and/ or enduring needs such as dual diagnosis. With an emphasis on supporting the transition for service users who may have had a significant admission to institutional care, the service has a strong focus on supporting service users with their journey towards recovery and independence. Tower Hamlets Supported Living Services support service users most disabled by their mental ill-health. Service users presently residing in Tower Hamlets Supported Living Services are provided with intensive support for their complex needs.
Cannon Street Road is a 24-7 service catering for individuals with complex needs (mental health and/or dual diagnosis and/or neurodivergence needs and/or physical health issues etc). The project has 20 units. The service delivery is strength based, recovery oriented and co-productive and person centered.
The Dual-Diagnosis Lead will provide excellent quality dual diagnosis support; through assessment, support planning, coaching and motivational interviewing to service users who have drug/ alcohol and mental health concerns to ensure they move forward in their recovery journey. They will support the Service Manager to lead the running of this service and delivery outcomes configured by the local authority, Tower Hamlets.
The role involves providing expert support on complex cases, mentoring and supervising Recovery Workers and students, and contributing to a high-performing, person-centred team. Responsibilities include line management duties, quality assurance through auditing, and leading the implementation of co-production strategies. The post-holder will work collaboratively with stakeholders, promote inclusion, and ensure services comply with all relevant legislation and policies. Additional duties include supporting recruitment, assessments, tenancy processes, and fostering continuous professional development and team wellbeing.

iniva is seeking an experienced, thoughtful and collaborative Website & Communications Manager to join our team at a pivotal moment for the organisation. The role sits at the heart of Living Legacies: Collaboration, Community and Radicality, a four-year National Lottery Heritage Fund project that activates iniva’s archive and connects it with communities through exhibitions, events, podcasts, oral histories and digital resources. This part-time role (3 days per week) is offered as a fixed-term contract over four years, with responsibilities evolving across the project lifecycle — from strategy and planning in the early stages to website redevelopment, major public programmes and legacy outputs in later phases. The Website & Communications Manager will work closely with the Project Manager and wider team to support clear communication, shared understanding and joined-up audience engagement. IDEAL CANDIDATE
This role would suit a practical and organised communications professional with strong writing and digital skills. Role Purpose
The Website & Communications Manager will lead iniva’s communications for a four-year fixed-term
project (3 days per week), with responsibilities evolving across the project — from setting up systems
and plans in Year 1 to delivering public activity, website redevelopment and legacy outputs in later
phases.
Focusing on Living Legacies, the postholder will lead communications activity to grow and diversify
audiences while maintaining strong engagement with existing audiences. They will manage a small

freelancers over the life of the project, such as a PR Consultant, Website Developer and Podcast
Producer to deliver clear, consistent and values-led communication across the organisation.

press activity within a wider communications role is sufficient. We are not expecting candidates
to demonstrate equal depth across all areas; instead, we are looking for a strong overall match
against the Essential criteria.
