The person

Responsibilities and Person Specification:
The Stories and Participation Officer is a fundamental cross-organisational role. Working directly with older people in financial hardship, the role will source, capture and collaborate to share stories, advice and insights from older people, whilst maintaining the highest level of stewardship and safeguarding for this group and supporting organisation wide participation activity.
Reporting into the Participation Manager, you will work champion and deliver meaningful involvement and authentic storytelling to ensure that the experiences of older people are at the centre of Independent Age’s work. You will ensure that participation processes maintain and develop our storytelling expertise and follow good-practice in the sector. The role will recruit and induct older people on a low income to our Lived Experience Network, alert them to opportunities to get involved in shaping and informing Independent Age’s work, facilitate two-way engagement, and work with willing members of the network to share their lived experience and insights, including sharing their story on public and private platforms.
You will need exceptional organisational skills and the ability to proactively drive lived experience work and effective storytelling. Strong verbal and interpersonal skills are essential, along with knowledge of best practice in supporting and co-ordinating lived experience participation including online and offline events, groups and meetings to create listening spaces.

The Head of Public Fundraising is a new role at Coeliac UK leading the charity’s public fundraising function. The role focusses on driving sustainable growth across individual giving, community fundraising, events, lottery, raffle, digital fundraising and merchandise. Who are we looking for?
Key to the success of this role is a strong understanding of individual giving fundraising. This role blends the strategic oversight and leadership of a Head of role across multiple income streams, with the hands-on expertise of an IG fundraiser. Experience across other income streams and areas of fundraising delivery would be a huge benefit as the role leads community fundraising and events, will take on digital fundraising - currently led by the Chief Engagement Officer, as well as manage the data and supporter care functions, but experience in individual giving is essential as Coeliac UK has defined that as an area of priority income. This is an exciting opportunity to join ATLEU, a leading legal, anti-trafficking and human rights charity, in a vital operational leadership role.
This is a role for someone bringing significant operational management experience, ideally within the charity/NGO and human rights sector. You will be a strategic thinker with excellent organisational skills and able to manage multiple priorities effectively. You will bring your skills and experience to a dedicated team that punches well above its weight and is passionate about transforming individual lives and bringing about long term change.
The Head of Operations will provide leadership in all operational matters, supporting the organisation's mission and long-term objectives, supporting ATLEU’s growth, resilience, and sustainability as well as building a flexible and supportive environment that enables the ATLEU team to do the challenging work that they do.
This role is managed by, and works closely with the Chief Executive. You will be a member of ATLEU’s Senior Management team and work closely with and supervise the work of the People & Inclusion Manager (recently started in post), the Operations & Projects Coordinator, the Project Manager and Philanthropy Manager. The Operations team is a small team that works collaboratively to ensure all areas are covered at all times. As such, you will be willing to chip in and take on tasks of other team members if urgent matters arise or when providing holiday cover.
We are looking for a positive, detail-oriented, creative thinker and problem solver who will build on our reputation for innovation and excellence. You will have a track record of achievement in this field and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong financial and business acumen. You will have experience of and confidence in overseeing a wide remit of cross cutting functions including finance, human resources, office management, information technology and governance and compliance. You will be comfortable learning and acting upon complex and technical information. This role will suit someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable with autonomy and who thrives in a role which is fast-paced and where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will enjoy working in the office and being available to support colleagues.

People Experience Business Partner - Volunteering - (permanent, full-time or 2 x 17.5 hour job share)

Do you want to use your skills to make it possible for people with myeloma to live longer and better lives? We are looking for a People Experience Business Partner who will lead the transformation of Myeloma UK's volunteering offer, shaping the future of how we engage with our volunteers and how they help us in our ambitions.
You will bring a progressive approach as either having been a Head of Volunteering, HR Business Partner or People Experience Partner to lead the development and implementation of a new volunteering proposition. From recruitment to recognition, from training to promoting inclusion, you will help shape it all. The post holder will work collaboratively, have good influencing skills with excellent stakeholder management, but most importantly will be someone who naturally leads with heart and compassion.

We're looking for an experienced People & Culture, People Experience or Senior Volunteer Management professional who combines compassion with action. Someone who leads with heart, builds trusted relationships and enjoys turning ambitious ideas into practical, sustainable solutions.
Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, you'll work with senior leaders, volunteer managers, People and Culture Colleagues and volunteers across the organisation to design and embed a modern volunteer experience that reflects our values and supports our ambitious People & Culture agenda.
You'll create a complete volunteer lifecycle, from attraction and recruitment through to onboarding, development, engagement, recognition and retention, ensuring every volunteer has a consistent, inclusive and rewarding experience.
This is primarily a transformation role. Around three-quarters of your time will be spent leading a high-profile organisational project to redesign and embed our volunteering experience, while the remaining time will focus on coordinating volunteering activities that help our volunteers and managers succeed.
This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up and leave a lasting legacy by creating an outstanding volunteering experience for current and future volunteers.
You don't need extensive volunteer management experience although charity sector and understanding of volunteering is a must. We're looking for someone with strong people experience expertise, project and change management skills and, above all, someone who leads with compassion. You'll be equally comfortable influencing senior leaders, supporting managers and rolling up your sleeves to make things happen.
