About the role
At Breast Cancer Now, we’re looking for a creative and proactive media and PR officer to join our ambitious team, as we continue to leverage our being the ‘go-to’ press office for breast cancer and position the charity as ‘determined leaders’ in our field.
This varied and exciting role plays a critical part in helping the charity build its profile through effective and compelling PR and media relations. The post holder will plan, deliver and respond to opportunities across all areas of the charity’s work, from highlighting our world-leading breast cancer research and raising awareness of our public health messaging to promoting our fundraising appeals, brand development, support services and supporting our policy and campaigning work.
The post holder will work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including people with lived experience of breast cancer, our nurses, researchers, and corporate partners, alongside building strong and trusted relationships with national and regional journalists to secure high-quality targeted media coverage. Every day will be an opportunity to make a positive difference for anyone affected by breast cancer.
About you
An excellent communicator, you’ll have a strong working knowledge of the UK’s media landscape and experience of delivering impactful results in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll be innovative, creative and sensitive in your approach to raising the profile of the charity and all its areas of focus, bringing fresh ideas to engage the media and always ensuring patient voice is at the heart of our work.
You’ll be confident in building trusted, influential relationships with journalists and leverage compelling coverage across all national, consumer, regional and tradeprint, broadcast and online media through these. You’ll collaborate with internal colleagues from across the charity to deliver powerful results, and work closely with external partners, researchers, and service providers. You’ll also play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth running of the media and PR team, including through being responsible for the day-to-day liaison with external suppliers (eg media monitoring) and overseeing the collation of information for key reports (including CEO report to Board of Trustees).
With an instinct for what makes a good news story, you’ll be adept at juggling priorities and deadlines and thrive in an exciting and fast-paced press office, where you’ll be well supported by our talented and welcoming team.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced research and insight professional to help shape how we use evidence to drive real and tangible change for people affected by breast cancer. With 1 in 7 women developing breast cancer in their lifetime, the insights you generate and coordinate will help us make impactful decisions that will help to change the course of breast cancer, and the lives of people affected.
Sitting in our impact, strategy and innovation team, you’ll play a key role in supporting major strategic programmes. You’ll have dedicated time to lead cross organisational discovery work, guide teams through what the evidence is telling us, and help turn insight into clear recommendations that support meaningful organisational change.
You’ll also support colleagues across the charity with their insight needs - joining the dots across teams, spotting gaps, sharing best practice, and helping build an organisational culture that confidently uses insight in everyday work.
Day to day, this means you might be leading on one of our core organisational insight products (like the Breast Cancer Compendium), coordinating evidence across teams, supporting commissioned research, or helping turn emerging insights into practical next steps. It’s a varied role, balancing longer-term strategic insight projects with timely responses to evolving needs.
About you
We’re looking for someone with strong experience in research and insight, confident working with different types of evidence - from data and literature to lived experience. You’ll be skilled at distilling complex information and turning it into clear, actionable insight that helps teams understand what to do next, and you’ll be comfortable using digital research tools – bringing curiosity about emerging technologies that can help us work more efficiently and inclusively.
You’ll enjoy working collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues across policy, influencing, public health, research, support services, nursing, and more. You should feel comfortable facilitating conversations, presenting evidence and findings to a range of audiences including senior stakeholders. You’ll help colleagues move from insight to action - supporting them to understand what the evidence means and how it should shape their decisions and strategies.
You’ll also be able to take a step back and look at the bigger picture - spotting patterns, identifying gaps and opportunities. You’ll play a central role in helping us strengthen our organisational insight culture, supporting teams to use evidence confidently in their day‑to‑day decisions. Most importantly, you’ll be motivated by the opportunity to use your expertise to make a real difference to people affected by breast cancer.

About the role
This role sits within the account management team, which raises over £1.5 million annually through a range of long-term partnerships across multiple sectors. Our partners include ghd, M&S, Primark, Everyone Active and more.
You’ll be responsible for a portfolio of significant 5 and 6 figure partnerships from a variety of sectors, each with multiple income streams and varying objectives. Reporting to the head of corporate partnerships you’ll manage this exciting and varied portfolio of partnerships, focusing particularly on income growth and delivering shared-purpose opportunities that strengthen and celebrate the relationships we have with these organisations.
As the main contact for these partners, you’ll guide them through every stage of their relationship with Breast Cancer Now. You’ll provide first class account management through your excellent external and internal relationship management skills, always striving to achieve and exceed mutual goals.

We’re looking for someone with the drive to deliver first class account management. With the experience of managing impactful and strategic partnerships and who’s excited to work with us and with some incredible and well-known brands!
You’ll confidently and proactively manage a varied portfolio of partnerships and stakeholders. With your experience of creating partnership development plans, you’ll have a proven track record in efficiently managing budgets, mitigating risk and ensuring compliance in all you do. You’ll work collaboratively across teams to ensure the shared goals of the partnerships and our charity are achieved. Your creative thinking will help you to overcome challenges and identify opportunities (financial or strategic) to maximise partnership potential, securing growth within our partnerships.

About CoppaFeel!
CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.
We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.
Breast cancer does not need to be detected late, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported by people like you, we will do all we can to make sure this doesn’t continue to happen.
The Role
CoppaFeel! is looking for a Senior Healthcare Engagement Manager to oversee the production of high-quality health information and resources and lead on CoppaFeel!’s healthcare engagement work.
The Senior Healthcare Engagement Manager will sit within the CoppaFeel! Education Department and will work closely with the Head of Services and Health Information & Services Manager.
The Senior Healthcare Engagement Manager will be responsible for leading our work in the health engagement space. They will play a key role in supporting the strategic direction of this work and provide insight and sector knowledge to support decision making within the leadership team. This will involve building strong relationships with clinicians and healthcare stakeholders, enhancing CoppaFeel!’s role in the healthcare sector.
The Senior Healthcare Engagement Manager will have oversight of the production of our health information and resource portfolio. This role ensures that all health resources are accessible, impactful, and trusted, meeting the highest standards, including those required by the Patient Information Forum Tick Accreditation.
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You will also be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training, we will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes.
