Communications Officer (Food for Life Scotland)

Location: Edinburgh with hybrid working (with occasional travel across Scotland and to Bristol)

Salary: £30,500 to £32,000 per annum FTE

Contract: Fixed term until end of March 2027

Hours: Part-time, 28 hours per week (0.8 FTE)

AbouttheOpportunity 

We're looking for a Communications Officer to join the Food for Life Scotland team, to help us get more fresh, local and sustainable food onto public sector plates. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver integrated communications for an important cause, working with a committed team who are passionate about good food.

You will help strengthen and extend the profile, reach and engagement of the Food for Life Scotland (FFLS) programme with stakeholders, funders, partners and the wider public. And you'll help support the Food for Life Scotland team's strategic objectives and communications objectives delivery through compelling storytelling, content creation, media relations, digital communications, stakeholder engagement and integrated campaign delivery.

 
AboutYou 

You'll be positive and collaborative, highly motivated and organised. You'll have strong copywriting and editing skills, and know your way around Canva and LinkedIn. You'll have excellent attention to detail, and empathy with the aims and objectives of the Soil Association.
