The role will support key operational functions, including Access to Work coordination and funding processes, while also contributing to delivery across services where demand is highest.

This position is intentionally designed to be adaptable in response to organisational priorities and changes in funding, ensuring Generate can maintain high-quality delivery while remaining responsive to external pressures.

About the role

As Landlord Liaison Coach, you will join our team in Birmingham at an exciting time, delivering an outstanding property procurement service across the private and social rented sector. Working alongside our team of lead worker coaches you will identify appropriate matches of tenants and homes. In addition, you will be managing your own caseload of homeless members and providing advice, guidance and advocacy. It’s a role requiring commercial acumen and creativity as you partner with both social and private landlords to source accommodation for our members. You will work collaboratively with partners and staff across the organisation to ensure tenants receive the support they need to sustain their homes and landlord relationships are nurtured. There is scope for development of the role and plenty of support. It’s a fantastic opportunity to make the role your own and shape it from the beginning.

About you

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and knowledge:

• Experience of sourcing, procuring, and allocating accommodation and making tenancies work for tenants and landlords
• Knowledge of the Birmingham (and surrounding areas) housing market and the barriers and opportunities faced by people who are homeless
• Experience of working with homeless people and supporting them achieve a positive housing outcome
• Understanding of housing law
• Developing, building, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
• Experience of working in a lettings and housing procurement environment
• Managing a caseload of homeless people and working towards case management standards
• Showing resilience when dealing with difficult situations
• A self-starter who can work on their own initiative

With a three-pronged approach including programmes, research, and policy advocacy, the organisation supports nearly 12,000 young people each year and they have been able to work towards keeping social mobility high in the political agenda.

As the Philanthropy Manager you will predominantly manage the portfolio of Fellows giving at the being £15k, £5k, and £1k per year level, as well as relationships with donors giving much more. The Philanthropy Manager will be responsible for developing the alumni giving campaign and will spot opportunities for further cultivation and donor engagement throughout the philanthropy portfolio of the organisation. The Philanthropy Manager will be a true relationship management and will line manage a Philanthropy Assistant while reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, working closely too with the Director of Development.

To be successful as the Philanthropy Manager you will have experience of building and managing donor relationships with individuals giving four-figures and above per year in a philanthropy team or other fundraising capacity through structured giving schemes. You will have experience of working with key senior colleagues across and organisation to secure major gifts and steward relationships and will have good knowledge of the UK fundraising environment, including trends in philanthropy.

This role is a full-time permanent position that will have hybrid working in the London offices for at least two days per week. The salary for this role is £42,025 to £48,000.

As Waste and Recycling Officer, you’ll inspire communities across South Tyneside, Sunderland and Gateshead to waste less and recycle more. Based at the Waste and Recycling Visitor and Education Centre, you’ll design and deliver engaging education programmes, community outreach and digital learning that drive positive behaviour change. Working closely with local authorities and partners, this is a hands‑on role where your work will make a visible difference to places and people every day.

Working as part of Groundwork’s Local Projects Team, you’ll be based at the unique Waste and Recycling Visitor & Education Centre (WRVEC), run by SUEZ on behalf of local authorities and coordinated by Groundwork. From here, you’ll design and deliver engaging education activities for schools, community groups, residents and businesses, both at the centre and out in the community.

You’ll work closely with Gateshead, Sunderland and South Tyneside Councils and a wide range of partners to raise awareness of waste and recycling issues, encourage positive behaviour change, and expand the reach of the education centre through creative marketing, outreach and digital learning.

This is a varied, hands‑on role combining education delivery, community engagement, partnership working and project development. This role ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to make a real environmental impact.

Key responsibilities

• Delivering waste and recycling education sessions in person and online
• Community outreach and partnership working
• Creating promotional content (social media, newsletters, events)
• Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on impact

Event Strategy & Planning

• Lead the delivery of an audience and insight led events marketing programme, working closely with the Brand, Communications and Digital team to maximise participation and net return.
• Keep abreast of income and data trends across the sector to help inform future activities and events fundraising programmes.

• Agree and deliver against ambitious income and acquisition targets, maintaining costs within agreed budgets.
• Set, manage and report against budgets, milestones and KPIs across the events portfolio, demonstrating accountability for performance.
• Use data and insight to evaluate event performance, inform decision making and continuously improve participant experience.

• Work closely with senior managers and colleagues across the department to maximise opportunities for collaboration and integrated delivery.

Skills & Experience

Essential

• A proven track record of excellent management of an event portfolio to meet income and acquisition targets.
• Experience of delivering data and insight led marketing and stewardship programmes to drive acquisition and net income.
• Experience of managing multiple projects with complex budgets, multiple stakeholders and stretching KPIs.
• Line management and team development experience.
• Knowledge of health and safety, risk management in event delivery & fundraising compliance.

• Experience of virtual fundraising and development of new events.

Key responsibilities

 Data management & systems

• Act as the primary system administrator for RSBC’s key databases
• Maintain high standards of data accuracy, hygiene and documentation
• Manage user permissions and secure access in line with data protection requirements
• Oversee integrations, imports, exports and API connections
• Lead on troubleshooting, system development and liaison with external providers
• Conduct routine data quality checks, audits, cleansing and deduplication
• Support month-end reconciliation, in collaboration with the Finance team
• Maintain accurate consent records and ensure regulatory compliance
• Advise colleagues on best practice and ethical data use

Insight & reporting

• Produce regular insight reports for teams across the organisation

About the Role 

This is a key role at the heart of the Foundation’s ambition to become even more impact-led and evidence-driven. As Research and Evaluation Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring our programmes, partnerships and investments are grounded in robust evidence and a clear understanding of what works, why it works, and how we can increase our impact.

Prostate Cancer Research exists to honour the men and families who have been through things no family should have to go through, and to work for a future where no one needs to fear a prostate cancer diagnosis.

At Prostate Cancer Research, we don’t just fund research. We help shape it. From launching cross-disease collaborative grant calls to developing first-of-their-kind initiatives that address gaps in the system, we work closely with researchers to drive meaningful progress.

This role offers the opportunity to combine scientific expertise with creativity and strategic thinking. As our research portfolio grows, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the department, while helping to shape its future direction.

Our remit includes delivering our own independent research projects and piloting community-led initiatives, alongside managing approximately £2 million in annual grant funding. You will also help strengthen links between discovery and translational research, support the development of new EDI initiatives, and build connections between academic research and our Prostate Progress data platform.

Skills and Competencies

Our ideal candidate would have the following:

• A strong belief in the value and potential of science (essential)
• A PhD in cancer or a relevant biomedical science discipline (essential)
• Experience working in an academic research laboratory within the past five years
• Experience managing research grants from application to closure, including financial and operational decision-making
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• An understanding of social science research methodologies
• Experience of EDI-focused initiatives or community engagement
• A collaborative approach, with the ability to build relationships, work flexibly, and manage expectations
• Confidence in leading new initiatives and driving innovation
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage researchers, patients and internal stakeholders
