Centre 404 is looking for an experienced and ambitious Fundraising & Engagement Manager to lead and grow our fundraising and engagement activity—helping us provide vital support to people with learning disabilities and their families. 

You will oversee the development and delivery of innovative fundraising initiatives, donor stewardship, and engagement campaigns, ensuring sustainable growth and increased visibility for the organisation.  As an expert in your field, you will work collaboratively across teams and with external partners, to champion Centre 404’s mission within local communities and beyond.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of Centre 404’s fundraising strategy and drive innovative approaches across individual giving, corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, and community fundraising.  You will play a key role in shaping our income generation, increasing our visibility, and maximising our impact.

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead Fundraising Strategy - develop and deliver a dynamic fundraising strategy across multiple income streams. Identify new opportunities and drive year‑on‑year income growth.
• Engage & Inspire Supporters - build strong relationships with donors, corporate partners, and local communities.  Create compelling fundraising campaigns, events, and cases for support. Nurture long‑term supporter loyalty, including legacy and in‑memory giving.
• Secure Grants & Manage Bids - research and secure funding from trusts and foundations.  Monitor reporting requirements and maintain excellent funder relationships.
• Grow Community & Corporate Partnerships - network widely to raise Centre 404’s profile.  Secure financial support, gifts in kind and employee engagement.  Support individuals and teams to succeed in their own fundraising efforts.
• Strengthen Communications & Impact - work with the Communications Team to create engaging digital content and newsletters.  Champion consistent, mission‑driven messaging across all platforms.
• Lead with Purpose - Embed a fundraising culture across the organisation.  Implement a CRM system to manager data effectively. Contribute to organisational strategy as a member of the management team.

About You

• Substantial experience in fundraising from at least one of the following: trusts and foundations, corporates or individual giving.
• Substantial understanding of charity sector regulations, compliance requirements, and ethical fundraising standards.
• Knowledge of donor stewardship and supporter engagement strategies.
• A track record of achieving and exceeding fundraising targets.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and campaigns.
• Excellent project management, data monitoring, and CRM experience.

About the role

Our Hartlepool Parent Support project is commissioned by Hartlepool Council, to offer infant feeding support across the region in both community and hospital settings and perinatal mental health support throughout the region. Support is delivered by staff and volunteer peer supporters. 

We are seeking a capable Perinatal Mental Health Project Leader who is passionate about supporting parents to lead on this project.  This role is home-based but will include travel across the Hartlepool region (expenses will be reimbursed).

•Leading on perinatal peer support across the Town.
•Managing the volunteers
•Having a good working knowledge and understanding of the local demographics in the Hartlepool area and ensuring all services are accessible and inclusive.

•The Confidence to network with and occasionally present to local clinical and partner agencies across maternity and mental health sectors to integrate the services into local pathways and build relationships with the profile of the service.

Being able to make decisions and respond appropriately to our commissioners, staff, peer supporters and parents and other external stakeholders is essential, alongside good IT skills– including Outlook, Word and Excel – and you must have good attention to detail.

It is essential for this post that you undertake the training to become an Parents in Mind Peer Supporter. This requires lived experience. The training can be undertaken within your working hours. 
The role is 25 hours per week which will be predominantly Monday to Friday within the working day, however, will include occasional evening and weekends. This is a home-based role, however travel across Hartlepool will be required.

Job Description

Strategy & Pipeline Development

• Develop and execute an annual Trusts & Foundations strategy to meet income targets and diversify the portfolio.

• Research, prospect and cultivate our grant funding pipeline of international funding opportunities.

• Maintain an up to date knowledge of the broader grants fundraising environment.

Bid Development & Proposal Writing

• Write high-quality, evidence-based proposals that translate East African programme data into persuasive narratives.

• Collaborate with the Head of Finance on project budgets and support the Finance & Grants Officer with research, applications and reporting. 

• Develop bespoke bids for institutional funding applications while maintaining the integrity of operational goals.

Partnership Management & Stewardship

• Manage a portfolio of existing donors, building long-term partnerships through proactive engagement.

• Provide bespoke updates and support the CEO with preparing and presenting at virtual or in person meetings.

• Execute strategies to move one-off grants toward multi-year commitments for sustainable income.

• Support to develop and expand our corporate partnership portfolio.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified immigration advisor to lead on key elements of our Change of Conditions casework service as maternity cover for the coming year including our ‘self-submissions’ support programme and second-tier CoC advice.

The Unity Project (TUP) supports people who are facing poverty and homelessness because their immigration status allows them ‘no recourse to public funds’ (NRPF).  We believe NRPF should not exist and we are working to end it. Until then, we seek to minimise its impact by supporting people to make the ‘change of conditions’ (CoC) application to access public funds. As part of this work, we continually develop new casework approaches to make CoCs more accessible to more people. By taking a strategic approach to our casework, we have opened up new routes for people to move through the process, and achieved greater recognition of groups with particular needs. We have also supported numerous strategic legal challenges which have prompted significant changes to the immigration rules and guidance related to CoCs. 

In this cover position, you will play a key role in our strategic casework. You will be responsible for TUP’s ‘self-submissions’ casework provision for applicants who submit their own CoC applications independently. You will support with other strategically significant casework as required, including by liaising with public law firms, writing witness statements for JR challenges and communicating directly with Home Office policy teams. You will also share our CoC expertise with the sector through second-tier advice and training workshops.

The role will suit someone who has prior experience of supporting clients with NRPF, an interest in broader immigration policy and the desire to apply those skills to a specialist context. The role requires someone who can adapt quickly and apply a strategic mindset to the challenge of using legal routes to achieving systemic change.

Purpose of the Role

The Administrator / Finance Officer plays a key role in the smooth running of One Newham. The postholder will provide reliable financial administration, maintain accurate records, support budgeting and reporting cycles, and ensure effective office and administrative systems are in place, with a strong emphasis on finance.

About the role:  
We are seeking a highly organised and driven Project and Operations Manager to help streamline processes, deliver key initiatives, and support our continued growth in our Training team. In this role, you will bring together complex communications, requests, and ideas, translating them into clear plans, structured workflows, and effective processes that ensure the successful delivery of multiple projects. You will combine strong planning and organisational expertise with a practical, hands-on approach to implementation. Comfortable managing competing priorities, you will remain flexible and adaptable, responding effectively to unforeseen challenges while keeping projects on track.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Lead the project management of all training programmes and services, ensuring effective planning, coordination, delivery, evaluation, and reporting 

• Provide day-to-day coordination and effective leadership, including clear direction and support to the training team (currently three reports) 

• Oversee all aspects of contract delivery, including project planning, timelines, budget management, communications, and reporting to clients, partners and internal teams 

• Manage and maintain updates of a training calendar identifying activity, allocating trainers to training courses to ensure quality delivery of courses 

• Working with managers and team in Training, oversee the Assistant Trainers (freelance trainers) communications, allocations, contracts, feedback and allocation of work 

• Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with external partners and clients, ensuring all interactions reflect the strategic direction and protect the reputation of the charity 

• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, using strong negotiation and influencing skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard 

• Monitor and report on project progress and performance, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of all training activities and identifying and raising risks or issues early 

• Working with managers in Finance and Training, set realistic targets, manage budgets, cross-checking invoices, and capacity, and track project performance against agreed KPIs 

• Support quality assurance across training programmes, including accreditation requirements, reviewing and proofreading materials, adherence to brand, copyright and maintaining high standards of training materials 

• Working with managers in Marketing and Training. oversee and provide reports on training evaluation data and feedback to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement 

• Working collaboratively with the Marketing team to ensure a consistent flow of content to promote the courses, such as upcoming training, feedback quotes and data, website updates, training videos and raising courses that align with campaigns 

• Working with managers in Communications, implement improvements to systems, processes, and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and the client experience from initial enquiry through to evaluation 

• Support the growth of the organisation’s training offer by identifying and assessing opportunities for new partnerships, services, and income generation 

• Maintain oversight of the effective and consistent use of operational systems and platforms across the team (such as Salesforce, Eventbrite, SurveyMonkey, Monday), recommending improvements where appropriate 

• Working across the training team, ensure activities comply with relevant policies and regulations, including health and safety, safeguarding, suicide prevention, and ethical standards 

• Undertake additional duties as required to improve the function of the Training team, as directed by your line manager.

Essential Skills and Experience: 

• A recognised project management qualification or equivalent practical experience 

• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, delivering them from initiation through to completion across cross-functional teams 

• Strong ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative data, identify risks, and recognise emerging trends to inform decision-making 

• Experience writing high-quality reports for clients, clearly demonstrating project progress, outcomes, and impact 

• Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and motivate teams, fostering collaboration and high performance 

• Highly self-motivated and resilient, with the ability to work effectively in a remote or distributed environment 

• Evidence of developing and improving processes and procedures to increase organisational efficiency and effectiveness 

• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, CRM systems, and email marketing platforms 

• Proven experience building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and key stakeholders

• Experience with design principles and accessibility in communications, ensuring materials are inclusive and user-friendly

The Brompton Fountain supports children's heart and lung care at Guys and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust encompassing Royal Brompton, Harefield, St Thomas’, Evelina London Children’s Hospital and their partner hospitals.
Based at Royal Brompton Hospital, we work with teams across all sites to ensure patients and their families receive specialised support and resources (whilst in hospital and at home), regardless of where the child is treated within the Trust
network.

The Family Support Officer plays a vital role in delivering compassionate, practical and emotional support to children, young people and families receiving care under the Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. Working closely with the Hospital Services Manager, the post-holder will help deliver high-quality charitable services, events and projects.

Key objectives of the job 

• Work closely with the Hospital Services Manager to deliver core charity support, including but not limited to researching and distributing essential items, seasonal gifts and treats.

• Assist with the planning, preparation and delivery of events for children and families, varying in scale from one-to-one activities to large events.

• Obtaining and filing photo consent forms for any photography for promotional use.

• Assist with the delivery and development of services specifically for bereaved families, including annual events and support projects. 

• Assist with the upkeep of parent communal areas, including stock levels and general maintenance.

• Order products as directed by Hospital Services Manager

• Accurately recording charitable output, to be used for reporting purposes.

• Arranging travel and accommodation for families as part of our support services.

• Contribute ideas to improve services and identify unmet needs among families.

Communication and representation

• Communication with parents and families during face to face, telephone, email and social media interactions.

• Act in accordance with safeguarding procedures, escalating concerns about the welfare of children or vulnerable adults to the Hospital Services Manager (or charity CEO as required)

• Assist with the creation of regular charity newsletters through copywriting.

• Act as an ambassador for the charity when attending events and activities. 

Additional duties 

• Ensure that up to date written records and activity data are maintained in  accordance with professional and charity standards. 

• Comply with Charity and Trust policies including, but not limited to, current child protection policy and guidance, confidentiality, and health and safety.

• Respect the individuality, values, cultural and religious diversity of patients and their families, and contribute to the provision of a service sensitive to these needs.

• Be vigilant and aware of all stock, merchandise and resources owned by the charity.

You will be part of Scotland’s leading health charity providing support to people with chest, heart and stroke conditions and Long Covid to live life to the full again. Our Community Healthcare Support Service provides access to a range of supported self-management and community recovery services to support people across Scotland to manage their health as well as possible and adjust to life after a diagnosis of a chest or heart condition or after a stroke. 

With support from the Donor Development Manager, the Individual Giving Fundraiser will play a key role in growing and sustaining CHSS’s individual donor income by playing a lead role in donor acquisition campaigns, stewardship, and reactivation activity. You will have a strong focus on face-to-face recruitment and compelling multi-channel appeals. As an essential part of the Donor Development team you will be working collaboratively across Income Generation, Communications, Supporter Care, and Data as well as a range of external agencies and suppliers. In all areas, you will ensure compliance with fundraising regulations, GDPR, and marketing standards.

It is an exciting and varied role. We’ll want you to be creative - with support of Communications colleagues you’ll be involved in the crafting of fundraising appeals and campaigns. We’ll expect you to be technically proficient using a fundraising CRM (ideally RE:NXT), highly organised and collaborative. We’ll want you to be able to work with Data colleagues and use insight and analysis to inform decisions.

This role will help CHSS develop targeted campaigns, strengthen supporter loyalty, and ensure high-quality supporter journeys that enhance long-term income stability.
