The person
We are looking for someone who has experience of leading, motivating and supporting staff to deliver high standards of service. You will bring experience from sheltered housing, independent living, care, accommodation-based services or a similar environment, together with a strong understanding of safeguarding, resident support and person-centred working.
You will be empathetic, calm under pressure and able to communicate effectively with older people, relatives, colleagues and external agencies. Strong organisational skills, good judgement, confidentiality and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential. The Data Management Officer will mainly be responsible for managing and developing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and supporter data. Role Description
The Senior Fundraising Manager will play a key strategic role in supporting the mission and ministry of St Edmundsbury Cathedral by developing and delivering a diverse range of fundraising activities, with a particular focus on Trusts and Foundations, major funding opportunities, donor stewardship and the growth of sustainable income.
Working closely with the senior leadership team, the role will identify and develop new funding opportunities, build strong relationships with Trusts and Foundations, and lead the preparation and submission of high-quality funding applications and reports. The postholder will also oversee the Cathedral’s Patron and donor relationships, legacy and regular giving activity, and provide strategic oversight of major fundraising events and initiatives.

About the role
As the key contact for Sported groups across Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey, you'll play a vital role in helping community led organisations grow, become more sustainable and maximise their impact. You'll build effective relationships with these groups, understand their challenges and opportunities, and connect them to the support, resources and funding they need to thrive. This involves welcoming new groups to our network and supporting existing ones to develop.
Working closely with colleagues, volunteer consultants and partners, you'll help deliver projects and programmes that strengthens and develops them and creates positive outcomes for people and communities. You'll also contribute to volunteer engagement, partnership development, grant administration and project evaluation, while ensuring accurate records and data are maintained across your area.
About You
Are you passionate about the power of sport to strengthen communities and change lives? We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting grassroots organisations, ideally within sport (but please still apply if not in the sport sector), and who shares our commitment to inclusion, equality and positive social change.

We are looking for a Workforce and Revalidation Co-ordinator who will support the Faculty's workforce and standards committees, helping to ensure these functions are delivered to a high standard.
You will manage a busy programme of work, contribute to projects from start to successful completion, and work collaboratively with colleagues, members and stakeholders across the Faculty. Great support has a substantial impact on small environmental charities and the people they benefit. In this role you will be delivering an established, enjoyable, professional development programme for city farms, community gardens and care farms. You'll focus on training, networking and showcase events. The role involves getting out and about, but most of the work is office work. This role does not include any practical gardening or farming activities.
Hours: Three days a week (22.5 hours). Ideally to include Tuesdays.
Salary: Starting salary of £33,573 FTE including London Weighting.
Pension: 5% of salary for standard contracted hours after successful completion of a 3-month probation period.
Holiday: 33 days pro-rata per year including bank holidays.
Contract: 12 months at 22.5 hours a week, subject to passing the three-month probation period.
Location: Co-working space in Highbury & Islington. Frequent travel around London.
Role Overview:
To support the delivery of a popular, enjoyable programme of training, networking and events designed with and for city farms and community gardens. The programme improves the long-term viability of individual city farms and community gardens and builds the network as a whole, contributing to the sustainability of vibrant local communities throughout the capital.
The London Development Officer is part of a London team of two, working closely with the London Development Manager, and staff of city farms and community gardens, including the trustees of the London Association of City Farms and Community Gardens. The London team works with the wider team of Social Farms & Gardens based in the UKs countries and regions.
The London programme is well-established and well-regarded.
Annual outputs include:
· Training days designed and delivered by SF&G members
· Networking tours of community growing spaces
· Showcase events including the London Harvest Festival
