Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and organised Community Development Coordinator to join our small, dynamic team to grow and strengthen SSR’s community across the UK.

Scoliosis Support & Research (SSR) is a UK charity supporting people affected by scoliosis, raising awareness and funding high-quality research into scoliosis and other spinal conditions.

This is a public-facing, people-focused role covering volunteer development, community membership, schools and community outreach, and volunteer-led events and activities.

We need someone who will take ownership of their role, build relationships, identify opportunities and turn ideas into action. You will have the freedom to develop the programmes you are responsible for and find new ways to engage people affected by scoliosis.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, the role will work closely with the Fundraising & Communications Manager and Community Services Manager, taking the lead on community development while supporting wider SSR activity.
