About The Hygiene Bank 

Hygiene poverty is not being able to afford many of the everyday hygiene and personal grooming products most of us take for granted. The reality of low income is that it restricts people’s options, leaving us caught between being able to heat our homes, pay the rent, eat, or be clean.It is washing hair, bodies, faces and clothes in the same cheap washing up liquid used for the dishes. It is not being able to replace a toothbrush when needed or sharing a toothbrush because one each just isn't an option. It is having to choose between shaving foam and razors or the transport fare to a job interview. 

Hygiene Poverty is the hidden crisis facing the UK. In May 2024, The Hygiene Bank published their second groundbreaking research into the incidence and impact of hygiene poverty. It found that over 4.1 million adults across the country are currently experiencing hygiene poverty and that it is both alarmingly widespread, increasing and disproportionately impacts the most vulnerable. It stops people from participating in society, feeds the mental health crisis and blocks routes out of poverty. It is simply unjust.

About the role 

As our Partnership Officer, you will have the exciting opportunity to make a huge difference in improving the lives of people living in hygiene poverty.

Reporting into the Head of Brand and Corporate Partnerships, the Partnership Officer plays a pivotal role in the brand and corporate team and is responsible for supporting, stewarding, renewing, and growing our brand and corporate partners to meet our income targets and to source donated product for our service users. Our partners range from emerging brands to strategic corporate partners and reflect a combination of financial support, skills-based support, brand donations and volunteering.

The role is varied and requires outstanding relationship building and communication skills, strong time management, excellent written and verbal communication skills, meticulous record keeping and relationship management. You will be required to engage and influence a wide range of partner stakeholders, as well as collaborating across our teams to meet the needs of our partners.

Key Responsibilities 

Lunch & Learn facilitation 

• Coordinate and deliver engaging Lunch & Learn sessions for corporate and brand partners, both virtually and in person, speaking about hygiene poverty and the charity to engage potential partners

• Work with internal teams and volunteers to ensure sessions are informative, inspiring, and aligned with The Hygiene Bank’s values 

Track bookings, attendance, feedback, and outcomes to support reporting and improvement 

Corporate Volunteering Coordination 

• Manage corporate volunteering opportunities, including warehouse days, collection drives, and community-based activities 

• Liaise with corporate partners to understand capacity, expectations, and objectives 

• Coordinate logistics, schedules, and communications to ensure positive volunteer experiences 

• Work closely with regional and volunteer teams to match opportunities with partner needs 

Relationship Building & Account Management 

• Support with outreach and new partnership development 

• Build strong, long-term relationships with corporate partners through regular communication and engagement 

• Attend in person partner events

• Act as the day-to-day account manager for a portfolio of corporate partners 

• Ensure partners feel valued, informed, and connected to The Hygiene Bank’s impact 

• Identify opportunities to deepen partnerships through repeat engagement, volunteering, fundraising, or advocacy 

Administration, Reporting & Collaboration 

• Maintain accurate records of partner activity and engagement using Salesforce CRM system 

• Track partnership outcomes, impact metrics, and engagement levels 

• Support reporting for funders, partners, and internal stakeholders 

• Collaborate with fundraising, communications, and operations teams to ensure joined-up partnership delivery

About the role:

This role will work across Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent, but will be based in our Stafford office. Hybrid working is considered following our mandatory six month probationary period. Travel across the whole of Staffordshire will be required.

As an IDVA you will be asked to:

• Provide a pro-active, high quality, frontline service to victims of domestic abuse through on-going risk assessment, individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
• Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

The main purpose of this role is to provide high-quality support and interventions to clients with mental health needs who require early intervention and prevention. The postholder will support clients throughout their time in the service, empowering them with the skills to cope independently, while working in line with organisational values, the ethos of recovery, and principles of co-production. Responsibilities include managing a caseload of clients, delivering group activities and programmes, and clearly communicating the aims, objectives, pathways, and service model to enable clients to fully participate in and co-produce their support. The role also involves helping service users engage effectively with community professionals, developing peer support networks and community-based approaches, monitoring the health, wellbeing, and safety of service users, and contributing to the core work of the service. Accurate and timely administration, referrals, assessments, and service reviews are required, alongside participation in supervision, appraisals, training, and team development activities. Flexibility, initiative, and a collaborative approach are essential to ensure effective service delivery and support for both clients and colleagues.

Here's what the team will be looking for

The ideal candidate will have lived experience of mental health care pathways, including emergency department attendance, acute admissions, and community mental health services, alongside a solid understanding of the issues affecting individuals with a range of mental health conditions. They will be able to communicate effectively and provide support with dignity and respect, forming and sustaining trusting relationships with service users, carers, peer support workers, and professionals. Strong listening and verbal communication skills are essential to engage appropriately with service users in crisis, colleagues, and external agencies, both in person and over the phone. Knowledge of recovery tools, local mental health and wellbeing support, and the ability to assess needs, risks, and aspirations to provide appropriate signposting are required. The candidate will demonstrate strong prioritisation, time management, and the ability to work dynamically under pressure. Proficiency in IT, including MS Word, Outlook, and internet functions, as well as good literacy and numeracy skills to produce clear written correspondence, is expected. They will have a sound understanding of safeguarding issues and the ability to address them appropriately, work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and support the induction of new peer staff and volunteers. Strong communication, partnership building, and interpersonal skills are essential.

We are looking for a proactive, motivated individual to coordinate the trusts team activity. You will work alongside another part-time trusts and grants coordinator and jointly supervise the trusts and grants officer.

As trusts and grants coordinator you will work with staff across the organisation to submit persuasive bids, grow and diversify our portfolio of funders, and strengthen our relationships with donors.

• Coordinate SIA’s trust fundraising activity by maintaining and developing a portfolio of trusts
• Identify funding opportunities and develop compelling bids to maximise income raised from charitable trusts and foundations

About Care4Calais

Care4Calais is a volunteer-based charity providing essential aid and support for refugees in France and the UK. 

In the UK, we collect and distribute clothing, shoes, mobile phones, and other essential items, alongside offering social support and access to legal, medical, and educational services. In northern France, we operate year-round from Calais, working alongside local communities in Calais and Dunkirk to provide warm clothing, bedding, and services to displaced refugees living in challenging and dangerous conditions.

All of Care4Calais' operations are supported by a small, dedicated staff team, who supervise large volunteer teams to provide critical support to asylum seekers and people on the move in both the UK and France.

About the Role

Care4Calais is recruiting an Operations Coordinator to support its humanitarian operations in northern France. The association operates every day of the week, coordinating the distribution of non-food items (NFI) and providing services and activities, such as phone charging, games, and access to hairdressing, bicycle repair, and sewing equipment.

As an Operations Coordinator, you will oversee the daily distribution of aid and manage volunteer teams, ensuring that proper safety procedures for effective aid distribution are in place, communicated, and consistently applied. You will also contribute to warehouse operations and logistical planning.

You will be part of Care4Calais' core team in France and report directly to the Head of Field Operations in France. The role requires a proactive, hardworking individual with excellent organizational skills and the ability to make quick, compassionate decisions in a fast-paced environment. While this is a challenging position, you will receive a thorough induction and work alongside experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide core operational support for Care4Calais’ operations in northern France.
• Support the logistics and purchasing department to manage new and second-hand clothing stock and assist with operational planning for field activities.
• Oversee and deliver Care4Calais’ NFI aid distributions and services to people on the move at the French/British border.
• Manage and support teams of up to 40 volunteers daily to provide services in Calais and Dunkirk, including leading daily briefings and safety training.

Person Specification

Essential Criteria:

• Experience working or volunteering in a humanitarian context, with human rights organisations, or with refugees and asylum-seeking individuals.
• Experience managing projects that involve risk management, health and safety, safeguarding, and compliance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey information clearly and concisely to a wide audience.
• Experience managing warehouse operations or complex logistical and purchasing projects.
• Excellent written and spoken proficiency in English.
• Strong digital literacy, including the ability to use Google Workspace effectively.
• Full, clean driving licence and experience or willingness to drive vans.

Desirable Criteria:

Care4Calais recrute une coordinateur d'opérations pour soutenir ses opérations humanitaires dans le nord de la France. L'association intervient tous les jours de la semaine, coordonnant la distribution de biens non alimentaires (NFI) et proposant des services et activités, tels que la recharge de téléphones, des jeux, ainsi que l'accès à des salons de coiffure, des ateliers de réparation de vélos et du matériel de couture.

Vous contribuerez également à la gestion de l’entrepôt et à la planification logistique.

Vous intégrerez l'équipe principale de Care4Calais en France et serez directement rattaché(e) au/à la Responsable des Opérations Terrain France. Ce poste requiert une personne proactive et déterminée, dotée d’excellentes compétences organisationnelles et capable de prendre rapidement des décisions, avec bienveillance dans un environnement en constante évolution. Bien qu'il s'agisse d'un poste exigeant, vous bénéficierez d’une formation approfondie et travaillerez aux côtés de membres expérimentés de l'équipe.

Principales responsabilités

• Fournir un soutien de base aux opérations de Care4Calais dans le nord de la France.
• Assister le service logistique et approvisionnement pour gérer les stocks de vêtements neufs et d'occasion et aider à la planification des activités sur le terrain.
• Superviser et fournir les distributions d'aide humanitaire et les services NFI de Care4Calais aux personnes déplacées à la frontière franco-britannique.
• Gérer et accompagner quotidiennement des équipes de 40 bénévoles maximum pour fournir des aides à Calais et à Dunkerque, notamment en réalisant des briefings quotidiens et des formations à la sécurité.
• Participer au bon fonctionnement d’un entrepôt et d’un centre de stockage de dons.
• Travailler aux côtés d'une petite équipe pour développer des processus, des procédures et de la documentation afin d'améliorer l'efficacité du travail humanitaire de Care4Calais.
• Participer à des réunions externes, établir et entretenir des relations avec les partenaires et les principales parties prenantes, afin d’assurer le bon déroulement des opérations de Care4Calais.

Expériences requises :

Critères essentiels :

• Expérience professionnelle ou bénévole dans le domaine humanitaire, auprès d’organisations de défense des droits de l’homme ou auprès de réfugiés et de demandeurs d’asile.
• Expérience dans la gestion de projets impliquant la gestion des risques, la santé et la sécurité, la protection et la conformité.
• Solides compétences en expression orale et écrite, y compris la capacité de transmettre des informations de manière claire et concise à un public large.
• Expérience de gestion d’entrepôt ou de projets logistiques et d’approvisionnement.
• Excellente maîtrise écrite et orale de l'anglais.
• Solides compétences numériques, y compris la capacité d’utiliser efficacement Google Workspace.

About the Role
As the lead for this specialist area, you will:

• Drive the design and delivery of innovative interventions for children, young people and families affected by substance misuse.
• Develop group programmes, resources, and training to strengthen whole-family approaches.
• Build strong partnerships with key stakeholder such as adult substance misuse services, schools, children’s services, and health professionals to ensure seamless referral pathways.
• Develop and deliver training and consultation to external partners and stakeholders on the issues facing young people affected by substance misuse of others. 
• Champion safeguarding and best practice across the service.
• Hold a caseload of complex and high-risk cases involving children, young people, and families, delivering whole-family support, including parenting programmes and harm reduction strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate service impact, ensuring continuous improvement.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in working with families facing multiple risk factors, including parental substance misuse.
• Skilled in delivering 1:1 and group interventions and developing new programmes.
• Knowledgeable about safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Qualified to Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• A strong communicator and collaborator, able to influence and lead within multi-agency settings.
• You will need to work flexibly countywide across Buckinghamshire so must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a car.

Baca is dedicated to providing support and care to 16 to 18 year old unaccompanied asylum seeking children who are newly arrived in the country, helping them rebuild their strength, dignity, and hope for the future. About the role:

This is a pilot project for Advance working with women with complex needs related to their involvement with the criminal justice system. As the Complex Needs & Outreach Worker you will provide intensive, trauma-informed support to women experiencing multiple and intersecting vulnerabilities, including homelessness, domestic and sexual violence, mental health challenges, substance misuse, and social exclusion. Working flexibly across outreach and community settings, you will focus on building trusting relationships with women who may be disengaged from or distrustful of services, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are addressed holistically.

You will be based primarily at Folkestone Probation Office, with up to two days per week spent providing outreach support in the community. This position involves close collaboration with the Folkestone Women's Pod to identify women who require intensive support.

A car may be desirable for this role, though not essential.

To be successful as the Complex Needs & Outreach Worker you will need the below experience and skills:

You will be highly empathetic, able to listen without judgement, and emotionally resilient when supporting women who have experienced significant trauma and adversity. The role requires tenacity and persistence, maintaining consistent engagement with clients who may have chaotic circumstances or face barriers to accessing support. You will advocate on behalf of clients, coordinate multi-agency responses, and support women to access safe accommodation, health services, safeguarding support, and pathways to recovery and independence.

This role demands a proactive, compassionate professional who can manage complex risk, work autonomously, and remain motivated and resilient while delivering person-centered, strengths-based support to some of the most vulnerable women in the community to enable them to lead safe and fulfilling lives.

Job Description

You will lead on and be responsible for the provision of clinical care in our Wigan and Leigh services, ensuring that our standards of care allow those we support to achieve their recovery goals. Using your knowledge and expertise, you will provide professional leadership and supervision to clinical staff working within the service, working hand in hand with the Head of Service Delivery to promote continuous improvement and ensure that evidence-based clinical practice is delivered in line with national, organisational and local standards.

Key priorities will include:

• Actively promoting strong and effective leadership within a care quality governance structure that is built on open engagement, enquiry and learning
• Working collaboratively to maximise the potential for delivering excellent care quality
• Assisting operational management to ensure robust management and care quality structures for the delivery of high quality, effective and safe services within agreed financial limits and to contractual requirements
• Delivering opioid substitution and detoxification treatment, alcohol detoxification and relapse prevention treatment and other clinical interventions
• Playing a key role in the monitoring, development and improvement of the clinical service
• Ensuring all clinical interventions take place within the context of a recovery oriented integrated service approach

This role will be based on site across our services in Wigan and Leigh. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm and occasional Saturday working will be required. The salary for this role is £49,261.60 to £61,800, depending on experience.

Essential Skills

We’d be excited to see the following in your application:

• First level nurse registration or registered pharmacist
• Successful completion of a qualification to fulfil the role of supplementary/independent prescriber, holding appropriate entry on the NMC register or GPhC register
• Completion of a postgraduate course/study programme relevant to substance misuse
• Substantial experience working with substance misuse clients and harm minimisation in drug treatment

About the role

Always motivated to achieve brilliant standards of service, our Housing Partners (Housing Officers) are the first point of contact for our customers.

You’ll be a visible presence in your patch, ensuring the effective management and maintenance of tenancies. Moving into a new home is an exciting life experience and your role will have a positive influence on our customer journey from the moment we onboard new tenants.

Sometimes things don’t always go to plan, so you’ll also support customers to manage their rent accounts (including taking cases to court as a last resort), manage anti-social behaviour utilising a multi-agency approach as required, resolve customer complaints effectively and use appropriate legal remedies to ensure tenancies are ended efficiently and in line with legal and regulatory requirements when necessary.

You’ll develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners and build strong community bonds to make moments that matter every day.

Salary

The Housing Partner (Housing Officer) role offers a salary of£36,162 per annum for candidates who fully meet the role requirements.

If you're still developing in some areas, we’ll support your growth with a starting salary just 5% or 10% below the spot rate, depending on experience.

You’ll also receive an essential user car allowance starting from £1,250 per annum plus milage for travel around your patch - helping you stay mobile while making a difference in your community.

About you

You’ll need experience in delivering housing management services, plus an understanding of tenancy and neighbourhood management. It would be ideal if you have a CIH Level 3 Certificate in Housing - or you’d be willing to work towards it. You’ll bring a proven track record in managing anti-social behaviour, as well as a strong knowledge of rent collection processes and legal frameworks around income recovery. As you’ll be travelling across our Accent sites and estates, you’ll need a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
The successful candidate will undergo a DBS check as part of the pre-employment checks.
