The Refugee Council is the nation's refugee charity. For more than 70 years, we have supported people who have fled war, violence and persecution to find safety and rebuild their lives in Britain. About the Role

Are you passionate about helping refugees build their careers and achieve meaningful employment in the UK?

We are looking for an Employment Advisor to join our Refugees into Jobs team. You will provide high-quality employment advice, guidance and practical support to refugees, helping them overcome barriers and progress towards training, career development and sustainable employment.

You will manage a caseload of clients, provide tailored one-to-one support, deliver group activities and work closely with volunteers, employers and partner organisations to help clients achieve positive employment outcomes.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• A minimum NVQ Level 2 in Information, Advice and Guidance.
• Experience providing employment, careers or progression advice to adults who face barriers to employment.
• Experience managing a caseload and helping individuals work towards agreed outcomes.
• Experience delivering workshops, training or group learning activities.
• Experience working collaboratively with volunteers, partners or community organisations.
• Knowledge and understanding of the barriers refugees may face when accessing employment, education and training.
• The ability to maintain accurate records and use information and data to monitor client progress and outcomes.
• Strong communication, collaboration and organisational skills.
